I have delayed writing but I must give an explanation in terminating my association with this…read morefacility, since we have been coming to St. John's Animal Clinic since 2002. First let me begin with the positive, - [ ] Dr. Dawn Stewart- So sweet, compassionate and caring. Most of all professional and knowledgeable. What a loss for this practice! - [ ] Dr. Ashley- Assisted with transitioning my Hank across the rainbow bridge. Patient, kind and caring. She is the reason I stayed a little longer with this clinic. - [ ] Brandi- Assistant that always helped me and I could tell her true love for my pets by her enthusiasm when she saw us. Now for the negative events that have led me to my decision that it is time for a change. On September 14, 2024, I requested a refill on my dog's Heartgard. The office told me I would have to bring her in for a blood test prior to the refill. I explained my financial considerations and wanted to keep my dog protected. I first requested to set up the appointment on my next payday in 2 weeks and refill the prescription and that was declined. I then asked could they waive the $80 office visit to help me get her in sooner since I would be paying for bloodwork and an exam. They told me they would speak to Dr. Hill and call me back. There was never a callback. This facility has gone corporate. This veterinarian does not care about a lifelong client. I should have left long ago but stayed.  I absolutely cannot return to this practice.   After 22 years of being a client, with multiple pets, I have literally spent thousands of dollars at your clinic. But I get treated so poorly. No customer loyalty or compassion for my situation. Therefore, it is well past time I move on. I understand a big corporation has acquired the practice and only is interested in money, I can certainly see that with just the increase of the price of an office visit.  I will give this advice, people want a constant perception of caring and consideration. It is good public relations. This notice will also be posted on the reviews of your clinic. Like other reviews, it's about $$$$ not customer service. I was told there would be a callback after speaking to Dr. Hill concerning my requests but nothing. Due to No response from your office concerning considerations and requests- at least call me back when you say you will. I hope you and your corporation are happy together.

STAY AWAY!!! You've been warned…read more Here's what happened to us.... 1. NEVER CALLED BACK. When I arranged to have my dog (Milo) stay with Crystal we began talking through logistics but then she had to jump off and she said she'd call me right back. A couple of days later, after not hearing back from her, I called her again. She said she remembered me and tried calling me back but, "must have had the wrong number". Not sure how she could have had the wrong number when your phone shows "recent calls". 2. NO DOG TOYS. No dog toys in sight, inside or outside. 3. WENT RADIO SILENT. I heard from her on Sunday at 9:49am. After not hearing from her on Monday, I texted her on Tuesday at 1:58pm, No word back. I texted again on Wednesday at 8:08am. Still silence. I then texted her later that morning at 11:10am, left a voicemail at 11:43am, sent an email at 11:48pm, and a FB message around that same time. Lastly, I left her a missed call an hour later at 12:43pm. To summarize, I sent 3 texts, called 2x, and sent an email and FB message after not hearing from her in nearly 3 days. (She claimed I didn't give her time to get in touch with me because I only sent the email and FB message 1 hour prior to us connecting via phone. However, that disregards all of the texts and calls I made in an attempt to reach her before that.) 4. ONLY PICKED UP WHEN I CALLED FROM ANOTHER NUMBER. 5. CLAIMED SHE NEVER GOT MY TEXTS, VOICEMAIL, OR MISSED CALLS. When we did connect, she claimed she never received any of my texts, my voicemail, or my missed call. I believe she doesn't realize that the iphones show when texts have been delivered. 6. YELLED AT ME FOR THE MAJORITY OF OUR CALL. 7. WRONGFULLY CLAIMED I DEMANDED MILO SIT ON SOMEONE'S LAP FOR 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT. Not only did I never request he be in someone's lap 24/7 for two weeks, but that wouldn't even be feasible... I told Crystal that Milo is most comfortable with people and loves sitting on laps and shared how I hoped he could get some lap time at her place since he gets scared easily. That statement's far from demanding he sit on a lap for 2 weeks straight. 8. WRONGFULLY CLAIMED I ACCUSED HER OF NOT FEEDING MY DOG. This thought hadn't even crossed my mind. 9. LOST HER SH*T WHEN I ASKED FOR PICTURES, AFTER SHE TOLD ME I COULD ASK FOR PICTURES. When I dropped Milo off, she said, "He's your baby; if you want pictures of him, just text me!" I thought that was very kind. After she offered to share pictures with us, I texted her [at most] once a day to ask for a photo or video. Some days, I didn't ask at all. When she finally answered my phone (when I thought to use someone else's number) she then yelled at me and claimed I was demanding because I asked for photos. She said I was the most demanding customer she's had because when she offered to send me pictures, she hadn't wanted to send them almost daily, and it was my fault for asking for the photos... 10) CANCELLED ON US 1/2 WAY THOUGH DOG BOARDING LEAVING US STRANDED MID-VACATION. Our call ended with her telling me she wouldn't continue watching my dog because I was demanding (demanding of what? I still don't know... I guess for requesting the photos that she offered to send) and that I needed to have someone pick my dog up. This led me to scramble and have to find someone at the last minute to get my dog and then care for him just as the holidays are about to start.

That is not what you get here, you have employees that their priorities is not the customer experience but needing to be right. And then you have Dr Davis that without speaking to the customer, will reinforce the poor experience provided by their staff. Please focus on your clients, please know that we entrust you with the care of a member of our family, sometimes you have to go above and beyond to establish that trust. But most importantly protect your brand, ensure your team protects your brand, ask yourself, could I have done better. Don't entrust your babies with this company if they cannot fulfill their promises and deliver a lasting impression and show that they care. Dr Davis and the owners have some work to do here with the team that they have chosen to represent and protect their brand.

1-Star Review for Forever Vet Marbella…read more I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at Forever Vet Marbella. I came in with multiple concerns that something was seriously wrong with my dog. Instead of giving him a full examination, I was charged over $700 for two X-rays and for him to be "monitored" for the day. When I picked him up, nothing was resolved, and I was given no solid answers. The next day, when I called back to explain that he was still not doing well, I was told that they did not perform a full diagnostic exam--they only checked his stomach because that's what I thought the issue was. As a veterinary clinic, it is their job to thoroughly evaluate the animal, especially when the symptoms are unclear. Because they failed to diagnose him properly, my 7-pound dog was left in pain for an entire week. They told me that his stomach swelling would go down if I changed his food, which turned out to be completely incorrect. After two weeks of him continuing to suffer, I took him to another vet who immediately diagnosed him with a neck strain that required multiple medications for pain and inflammation. This is something Forever Vet Marbella should have caught right away. To make matters worse, when I expressed that I felt unheard and was considering taking him elsewhere, I was basically told I was "more than welcome to do that." After three years of bringing my dog to this clinic, that level of indifference was shocking. The amount of stress and pain our family went through--trusting a vet who clearly didn't take my concerns seriously--was a horrible experience. I would never recommend Forever Vet Marbella to anyone. My dog deserved better, and so did we.
