This is a horrible company to hire for your wedding..i will explain why..first they don't send out…read morethe DJ you speak with or who you think the DJ is going to be..Mike is the GM and Jamie is the owner and they just farm your DJ to anyone and take no responsibility for it..Theres no do overs, no making wright what they ruin..I cant go back in time and not use there service but I can try and let other people know so they can avoid this company on there special day.. We told Mike the type of music we wanted, the age of the crowd but it goes in one ear and out the other because when there farmed out DJ shows up they are clueless..They just push a play button and the same generic wedding garbage music comes out..no interaction with the crowd to get them up on there feet and entertained, by the way they are suppose to be the entertainment, nope just a card board cutout sitting pushing a button..Jamies answer is "We don't encourage people to come up on the dance floor, not our responsibility" I don't remember that in there sales pitch or that being there mantra..Even when people and even the bride her self would ask him to play certain songs he would just stare at you or say I don't know that one.. Can't remember his name and I'm not trying to be mean but he was a very heavy set man with dark hair.. When we talked to Jamie next day he didn't care but did say he never received a complaint before.(I see 2 on yelp that are similar to mine).Finaly I know that Jammin Beats cant control evrything there farmed out DJ does but they could have standards and only choose the best DJ's they audition but based on what I experienced at my daughters $30,000 wedding at owera winery they dont audition they just send out anybody who's available. I would strongly suggest not using this company..because anyone who was at our wedding would never hire "Jammin beats" In closing I have to give a star to send this review but I wouldn't even give him 1 star if I was able.

For some reason on wedding wire this company has a high rating- I don't know how everyone else had…read moresuch a great experience and then somehow for my wedding, they really messed up. First off, they showed up late! Two- the DJ completely messed up the introductions (it was awful), they skipped a bridesmaid/groomsman pair and almost skipped the best man and maid of honor! And third, the DJ wasn't very nice. I found out that there were 2 versions of the song I chose for my first dance so I asked him at the venue if he could verify with me that he had the right version. He was really mean about it and wasn't going to do anything about it until I practically started to yell and finally he got his computer out and quietly played the song to make sure it was the right one (this was before the introductions and before he was DJing). Because of these things, it was really bad. Also, he kept bothering me through the night regarding the schedule even though we had gone over it prior to the events starting, so as I was having a good time with my friends, the DJ was pulling me off the dance floor because he forgot the schedule???? Basically I was most disappointed that he completely messed up the introductions (even though just 10 minutes before we went over the entire line up!!!!!!!). And he wasn't very nice.

He was booked until 10 and ended our wedding at 9:45. He called the last song at 9:42. He also didn't introduce us as husband and wife. I have videos with time stamps to prove all of the above. He announced mother and father of the bride and groom and the rest of the wedding party and then he announced us by just our names which was pretty lackluster in comparison. Just because I didn't take my husband's last name, it doesn't mean that we aren't married. It doesn't mean that we aren't husband and wife. He could have said "now, as husband and wife, Kristen and Aaron!" There was also a misunderstanding when I asked him not to play too many slow songs. He took this to mean no slow songs. TECHNICALLY 0 slow songs is not too many but I wished he had asked what I meant if he was confused. I didn't realize until the end that no slow songs had played. We would have liked 2 or 3. I guess this is partially my fault for not being clearer. He did the ceremony and provided us with microphones at no extra cost, but it doesn't change the fact that he ended our once in a lifetime wedding day early. He said he would never end a wedding without the bride and groom's permission, yet he ended ours early. I promise with every fiber of my being that we would never ask to end our wedding early. After he announced that it was the last song at 9:42, I turned to my husband in front of the DJ booth and said "wait, don't we have him until 10?" DJ Carl suggested that I should have said something to him in the moment while it was happening. I shouldn't have to beg the DJ to stay for the full contracted time that we both signed and agreed to. We already had a million things to worry about that day and I didn't want the confrontation. We didn't want an argument on our wedding day and he had already announced that it was the last song. We waited a year to review because we had just had our wedding and we wanted to take a break from wedding stress and then family things came up and job changes and we were busy for so long. I remembered after our anniversary when we were reflecting on everything. I wish we got the experience that other reviewers got and I'm not sure why we didn't. Did he just not like us? We treated him with nothing but kindness and respect throughout the process and paid for his plate of food and his drinks so that he wouldn't be hungry or thirsty. TRUST ME when I say that we were both VERY aware that he ended the wedding early when it was happening but we didn't want the confrontation because we're both terrified of it. Trust me when I say that we would never forfeit a single minute with our loved ones on our wedding day. What hurts the most him ending our wedding early without our permission is that we can never do that day over. We will never get that day back. We would like 15 minutes more of dancing, laughing, and holding our loved ones on our wedding day. We would be crazy not to.
