More carpeting removed: 2 bedrooms, hallway , stairs ( as you can tell not a big fan of carpet). LVP installed with another great job right down to the trim work. Gina, front desk representative, spent time with me picking out stair runner and flooring. While they were here, consulted with Fabio and added on 2 bathroom floors. No problem, no extra wait time. Again, the team members were professional. Next project, 2025, back to Carpet Liquidators. Very small deck off of patio doors leading to backyard. The team came in, ripped off small deck and built 19x10 walk-out deck with white vinyl railings and 2 flower boxes by the stairs. This team worked in the rain and 90 degree heat. We're in the process of having a kitchen and bathroom floor done by Ed's. The first day the…read moreinstaller showed up with only part of the materials. He installed the kitchen flooring into the bathroom. When he realized mistake, he took it up. He was done by late morning. He had some of the kitchen floor but not enough to do the whole kitchen. He didn't have any of the material to do the bathroom floor. So he left for the day. He wasn't sure of all the material had come into the storehouse or not Since it was only half a day at the house, I would have expected him to go back to the store to see if the material was in the storehouse . Maybe even return to get some of the flooring done on Friday. We had the plumber come in that morning to removed the toilet , they were scheduled to return in the afternoon to reinstall the toilet.We had to call and cancel him and tentatively reschedule him for Monday. Since it was a Friday, we had all of our kitchen and bathroom closet items stored in our living room for the weekend. Sunday, the installer did show up and correctly put in the bathroom floor and started the kitchen floor. Our bathroom floor is the vinyl that looks like stone and it's a grey tone. They installed a bright white molding around the flooring. It clashes and looks awful. The strip they put between the bathroom and the hallway door matches perfectly . When we requested the white molding be taken out and replaced some that matched the floor like the color of the strip in the doorway. We were told they would look around around and see if they had anything in the warehouse, I am sure that they're not going to find anything just hanging around the warehouse. If they don't have anything, they would have try to find something matching, and it would cost us extra. When we hired them to install the floor we assumed that it would be done with matching materials. Now we're being told we have to pay extra. Since we did not get a discount on the floor or a sale or anything else, I don't feel we should have to pay another cent to have the floor install correctly with matching materials . That's a discussion. we have to have later today with the manager. It's noon time Monday and they may have to come back another day to finish the floor. We told them we needed it done before Tuesday because we were having company on Tuesday. We assumed most of the work would have been done on Friday and just finishing touches on Monday. I won't know until I get home from work if they've completed the installation. I wished I had read some of the reviews , which had several negative comments about the installation. Of flooring they did. Overall, I'm just not pleased with the service , the installation or the communication I'll have to wait to see how this gets resolved but I would never recommend them or have them again.
