FAST awesome communication! I messaged at like 6:30 pm last night, and Robert got back to me almost immediately and had an appointment opening for me before noon today. We have been using Robert since 2014 he has always been great. We are in Lake View Terrace and he drives down from Acton to provide us with service. After the fire we needed so much cleaning done. There was soot everywhere. The windows, tile, grout, baseboards, screens just everywhere. It is so challenging and frustrating to try to clean the soot and it gets into everything. Robert came out, the service he performed was nothing short of magic. He got rid of all the soot and dirt, cleaning all of the windows, screens, tile grout and the carpet. He was here all day. Light colored carpets and two large dogs...can be a disastrous combination...carpet is 20 years old and will need to be replaced in the near future. That being said, after using several different carpet cleaners over the five years we've been here, Robert's company is by far the most thorough and really did a superb job of getting out stubborn pet stains, odor, and general traffic dirt and grime..Very impressed! I hardly ever write reviews except when an experience is exceptionally different than I expected based on previous reviews posted about the same company. In this case, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of work and customer service provided by Rob at Pride Carpet Care after choosing him based on his Yelp reviews. At a time when we wanted everything to look great because we've put our house on the market and were about to start open houses, I was very unhappy with the results. The carpet in the master bedroom was just replaced less than 4 years ago. It had a few dark spots from coffee spills and footprints. Rob said he'd take care of them. When I asked him why the dark spots remained, rather than cheerfully suggest redoing them, he gave multiple reasons why they are still there. The remainder of the carpets came out very stiff and haven't softened up since. He assured us that cleaning our white sectional sofa would be a great idea but it came out looking no better than before, and in fact had a few brown spots that may have come from dirty water. The worst part was the large area rug in the front entrance that is the first thing you see when you enter the house. It came out with lines and dark spots. Rob seemed annoyed that I even suggested it was worse off than before. He asked us to leave it outside, which I thought was odd, and he would clean it again. It still looked like crap afterwards but he had every excuse about why I shouldn't expect it to be any different and basically refused to do anything to make it right and in fact has stopped communicating. At least he could have offered to compensate us for half the price of a new rug since he ruined it. We have been business owners for a long time and would never treat a customer this way. read more

We are so happy with the carpet cleaning that we received today. Our carpets were at the point that we were thinking of changing them. Robert was able to get the terrible strains out that they now look new. We called late yesterday afternoon, he came this morning, couldn't have asked for better service. I am so pleased to have found Robert!! He returned my call the same day and was able to schedule an appointment quickly. He cleaned 4 area wool rugs, two of which had stains and they all look like new again. He also cleaned my travertine shower and shower glass which had a lot of soap build-up and hard water deposits.
