I had searched and interviewed many contractors to undertake the job of replacing a double pane…read morebathroom window that had a broken seal. All but one of them said the job was too small. The one that said he would consider the job was less than enthusiastic and was hard to pin down as to cost and scheduling. I also needed window screens replaced throughout the house. No one was interested. Then, after much searching, I found the number for Toribio Glass. My phone message was returned within a half hour. Jose Toribio scheduled an appointment to look at the situation and arrived exactly when he said he would. He provided a scope of work and a very fair price to complete all of the work. He replaced the window and all but one of the screens (perfectly) on the exact day and exact time that he said he would. He was not satisfied with one of the screens and sent a crew two days later to install the last screen (again perfectly). The members of the crew were incredibly attentive and careful about how they came through the house to get to the window (it was raining). Jose came out one more time on his own request to inspect the work and to replace a couple of snap window locks that he had noticed needed replacement. I have worked with many contractors during my 77 years on this planet and I have never been more impressed with the professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness of any contractor, ever, as I have been with Toribio Glass. This was our first time using this company and our experience was terrible…read more When we dropped off our garage window to have pane replaced, John told us they could replace one pane of glass in the double pane window for $26. A week later when we stopped to see if it was done they had broken the other pane of glass trying to get broken glass out. On this day the lady working who had a terrible attitude and ran down every other employee that worked there stated it would now be $68 to fix, even though they broke the 2nd pane. She stated it would be another 7-10 days. So we go back in another week and it still isn't done, so we wait while the guy finishes it up. While we are waiting, we ask for an invoice and was told by the guy in the office who stated he just does the computer work that they don't do invoices. So we ask if we can pay while we wait, he states using a card? we ask how much our bill is and he replies I don't know. How can we pay if nobody knows what the total bill amount is? Ridiculous! We get home and one of the latches to lock the window with is broken off. They were both on when we took the window in. This business is poorly ran and no customer service or professionalism. WE will find another glass to do business with in the future.
