Very disappointed in AllGlass MD. We ordered a glass panel for a shower and after waiting 4 weeks received a call the night before installation that the panel was incorrect. No apology - just blamed their supplier. We agreed to another 2 weeks wait and actually ordered glass for the other shower. When going in to receive the quote for the second product the manager was condescending, rude and downright unprofessional. She would not even listen to our concerns. We ended up cancelling both orders and will never order from them again! Highly recommend you not spend your money there! read more

I would of gave this place 5 stars but had a problem with one of the workers that didn't install my windshield right. Pretty much told me i had to deal with it and that wasn't right. Finally went to the boss of the place and he made everything better. He just said let's just order another windshield and reinstall it. So we did that and the 2nd time around we got it fixed. Overall good experience expect for that one worker. He was the installer. i honestly would of gave this place a 4 star but with the hassle i had to go though i had to give this place a two star. read more

Initially I thought their service was very good. They came on short notice and fixed my window (a pane in a multi-paned window of a house). However, when it fell out 2 wks later I called the police over because I was worried about another attempted break-in. The police thought the window had fallen out, that it did not appear to be a break-in attempt because of the way it fell. I called All Glass back, since the putty was still as wet as the day it had been installed two weeks earlier. They would not come and even look to see if it had been installed properly. The owner said the putty could be wet but they used acrylic underneath the putty so it couldn't have fallen out. When I called another glass company to fix the window again, they found that the original broken window frame (which was old) had not been properly cleaned out the first time. There was lots of old glass or whatever that they had to chisel out. It was not the new glass. They also said there was no acrylic used at all, only the still wet putty. This company certainly doesn't stand behind their work, and I totally wasted my money on their (not inexpensive) repair. read more

I recently took my car to Auto Glass MD to have a window regulator repaired/replaced in my driver side window and possibly passenger window as well. Upon taking my car there they sent a guy out to examine the window. He took a quick look and said it would have to be replaced. He also said that my passenger window would only need to be greased. They said they would check both the windows to make sure but it would cost me $45 dollars a window to do so. I passed on the inspection and after that he said he would have to check and see how much the kit would cost to replace it and give me a call. I waited a few hours and he got back to me and told me the part cost around $230 and that for them to have it shipped in, installed, and the passenger window greased it would be $400. I have had the window regulators replaced in my car before, but it never cost that much. I apprised the worker that I had never paid that much to have it fixed or replaced. He said he assured me his parts were post market and only the best. I told him I would think about it and get back to them. I then made a phone call to another local company that also fixes window regulators by the name of Big O Tires. A nice fellow came out from Big O and took it back right away. He then told me the whole regulator would have to be replaced like Auto Glass MD said, and that he could do it in about an hour as he had one in stock. He then went back to the shop and brought the regulator out without me asking him to and showed me in detail all of the problems the regulator that broke had. I was very impressed that he actually took the time to do so. He told me the part cost $135 and that he would install it for $65. It ended up costing me a total of $200 dollars and he even took the time and looked at the other regulator and told me it would eventually need to be replaced as it didn't need greasing but the actual motor was going out. I knew something wasn't right with the price I was quoted from Auto Glass MD and Big O ended up saving me $200 dollars on the whole thing and they did a fantastic job. I have in the past used Auto Glass MD to repair window chips to which they did a copasetic job but they did charge my insurance company quite a lot of money for a 20 minute job. They also glued a rear view mirror back on for me for $5 towards their "beer" fund. I wish I could give them a higher rating but I can't at this time. If you get a chip in your window and your insurance will pay to fix it, then I do recommend them for that. But if you will be paying out of pocket for a fix or other job there I would be cognisant of their prices and shop around. I am not saying their work ethic and customer service isn't good, they are curteous and mostly respectful. read more
