We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Emily led us through rehearsal the day before and made sure the actual wedding day went smoothly. She made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family, but still keep on schedule with her gentle reminders.

We held our wedding at Walnut Grove and it was clear that Emily knew what she was doing, especially at that venue! I am definitely a more anxious bride and had many questions, emails, texts. Emily responded to each one with so much grace and expertise. Wedding planning can be isolating at times because there is so much to do - but I really felt like I had a partner in Emily. She was so responsive and enthusiastic! Her excitement and calm attitude carried me in moments I wanted to give up wedding planning altogether. On our wedding rehearsal - our bridal parties all remarked at how pleasant yet professional Emily was. She really made sure everyone knew what they were doing. Which was especially difficult because we had a bridal party of about 20+ people! On the day of the wedding, we had very strong winds (at an all outdoor venue) and I was blissfully unaware of the chaos occuring. But Emily and her assistant Katie handled the situation so well. Whenever Emily checked in with me regarding things that were not going to plan, she had so much confidence and peace that it was easy for me to make quick decisions. I can really say I was present throughout the wedding, and focused on getting married! Everything else, Emily handled so beautifully. I am forever grateful to Emily and Mia Bella Weddings and you will not regret having them on your vendor team!

Tasty Sounds Entertainment has been…read morein business since 1990... 35 years and we have handled events at some messed up locations, but Orcutt Ranch in the Valley is the WORST. Ask any DJ about the location (Unless they are employed by 3 Little Birds Event Planning) and they will tell you the truth. 5-10 years ago, they started making DJs put the speakers inside the house and since all the events are outside you can only imagine how bad that sounded. 10 Years ago, I opened the windows of the house and aimed my speakers out the windows and sort of limped thru my party, I hated it and swore to never have me or my guys ever return. Of course, years go by and we had a client who really wanted to use me and said they were having the party at the Orcutt Ranch, and I WARNED THEM about the speaker situation. They understood the risk "but they wanted pretty" and against my better judgement & the damn money I agreed. Nothing was on my radar prior to the wedding except maybe a couple of weird emails with 3 Little Birds event planning, until the DAY I show up. The new rule is not only do the speakers have to be in the house but they must be turned facing in to the WALLS... again everyone is outside in November...WTF! Then they wanted me to sign a sound agreement on the day of the party. When I wouldn't sign it, they brought in the 2 security guards and said if I didn't sign it, I would be escorted off the premise (5 minutes before my Grand Entrance of the wedding couple). I still wouldn't sign it until I knew that the bride and groom were aware of this situation with the speakers. But what could they do ... guests were already sitting down for dinner and they said they understood and this "Diva DJ" signed the agreement with 2 hulks looking over my shoulder. I was not pissed for the humiliation; I was pissed for the guests and my client. I made it thru the party (it sounded like crap) and dealt with the bad vibes all night long and went home and cashed the $2800.00 check. That was 2 years ago and I would have let it go, but some unaware bride just called and said their venue was Orcutt ranch and it all came flooding back after I warned them. The location is dingy, with Navajo Swastikas all over the place but they get you in with the low price and because it's in a very pretty woodsy location your overlook much of the warnings you feel. But they must not be telling the truth about the music in the presentation. The truth is new houses are being built closer to the ranch and they are having sound ordinance problems but they still want the money... hence the dilemma. "Should we tell our couples the truth or just hijack them on their most special day?" SHAME. If you want a dinner party or a garden wedding with no music, (maybe a harp or violin) then perfect. But if you want a real American "have a damn good time" Wedding, avoid this so-called gem because the gem you're getting is called coprolite (Petrified Feces).

We had…read moreinitially asked a friend of ours to be our coordinator without realizing how much a coordinator has to do not only on the day of but leading up to the big day. Since we would much rather have her be a guest at our wedding and not working the entire day, we started our search for a day of coordinator that is fast to respond, detail oriented and assertive in time management. We were so happy and very relieved to have found Jenn of The Overwhelmed Bride! She was everything we were looking for and more. During our planning process, she was so fast in responding that we were never left wondering or worrying. She was very patient and helpful in guiding us when we were putting together our timeline and she was on point when getting all of our vendors commit to a time for setting up. We really didn't need to worry about any of the big or small details with Jenn at the helm. She even brought up great suggestions like having the families sit on opposite sides at the wedding so the groom's family can see my husband at the alter and my family can see me. On the big day, Jenn was very assertive in making sure everything is running according to the timeline laid out. She would usher everyone to where they needed to be without being too pushy. The decorations and all the small details were laid our perfectly and we're so happy that we had her on our team. I can't imagine doing this ourselves or really with anyone else. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is getting married!

But then she started our timeline and to do list it and it all seemed much less overwhelming. Her ability to coordinated a timeline with so many different vendors not to mention all the vendor's personalities was everything. Jenn was so patient, prepared, detailed oriented, and helpful! I would highly recommend Jenn!!

Since our venue did not provide any services, we hired all of our own vendors. 3LB was essential in ensuring everyone was coordinated and in place on the wedding day. Additionally, because we used their rental equipment, their staff ensured everything was set up exactly according to our instructions. I want to specifically highlight our wedding day coordinator, Jennifer. She was terrific and served as a calming influence throughout the day, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. I cannot recommend Three Little Birds enough. To anyone considering their services: do yourself a favor and hire this team; you won't be disappointed.

We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

During our meetings with vendors, she let me take the reins because I'm type-A so I generally took control of a lot of aspects of the wedding, but when she needed to step in, she did and had meaningful comments and questions to add. I highly recommend a wedding coordinator as well as XOXO, even if you are a type-A bride. I never thought I would need a coordinator, but Kehau showed me that I did lol. She gave us many recommendations for different vendors, was in all the meetings, helped with all questions and was pretty speedy to answer. While the months leading up to the wedding were quieter, once it was the month/week before the wedding, Kehau really stepped up. She coordinated with all the vendors and with the venue without involving me, which I really appreciated so I would not be so stressed. Pretty much everything went according to plan (there's always something -- but not Kehau's fault). For the rehearsal, Kehau was on top of everything and made sure everyone knew their place. She helped take all the items I purchased out of my hands and store them before the wedding so they could be arranged without me. Day-of wedding, everything was decorated as I wanted. Everything looked beautiful and went smoothly. She was always there, making sure everything was timed well and whatever I needed. There was one hiccup with the menus, but she handled it calmly and it was fixed quickly. Post-wedding, we realized there were a few hiccups that were under Kehau's oversight that should have been clearer or better communicated. Some things were lost, others placed in wrong cars, and ultimately most things were fine, but just wish they were communicated better. Overall, highly recommend Kehau and XOXO. She was always upbeat, friendly, happy and kind. Thanks!!

She transformed our daughter's tea party into an elegant and unforgettable vintage garden tea party setting not only with her beautiful collection of exquisite teacups, but also with antique tables, chairs, centerpieces, linens and photo props. On the day of the event, Laura went above and beyond by adding extra special touches that I would have never thought of, like hanging chandeliers to our tree branches for added magic. Wow!
