The quality/talent level is up to par, but the customer service level, organization, and timeliness of this business are lacking. We did not receive the photographer we had requested upon booking. We also did not receive the correct type of photo booth that was discussed upon booking. The photographer that did show up on the wedding day was not utilizing the shot list I had provided/that he had on his phone. It was frustrating to miss out on some of the photos we wanted due to a lack of preparedness. In general, it was difficult to get in touch with questions. I called/emailed several times for a status update after the wedding. I received a long, snappy email with a mathematical breakdown of how busy Daniel is. I was told "I spend X number of hours per week answering emails like yours," If that were true I would have received a response much sooner than I did. A shorter, more polite/professional email would have sufficed. I understand Daniel and the team are busy, but I am a client who is paying for a service, and I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to. It is not my fault that the owner is spread so thin through photographing, editing, and answering calls/emails (as his email to me explained). It is moments like these where truthfully, I don't think Sensational Images was worth the trouble. Upon booking, we discussed that I'd be able to receive family photos back early (for Christmas gifts) and 1-2 photos for Thank You cards. After the wedding, I was told by Daniel in a condescending email that etiquette dictates that cards can be sent up to 6mos after the wedding. While this may be true, I would have preferred to send our Thank You cards out in the same year that our wedding took place. One of the pages in our photo book included the wrong photos with people's faces cropped out. I received no email or notification stating a problem, but I did receive an email saying the book was ready for production. I don't understand how ANY of the photos would not have been high-quality enough. They are professional photos. In the end, I ended up ordering a photo book elsewhere. The book was included with our package/an "added value" item. However, the item was not worth the value, and the hassle was not worth my time. I would not recommend Sensational Images. I feel that given the price, it would be a better experience going with a photographer who might cost a little more, but who treats their clients with professionalism, respect, and with timeliness in mind.

For our wedding photos, Roger was perfect for what we needed. We really didn't have any clue as to wedding photos we wanted. If we did, we couldn't remember them as it was a hectic day! As soon as Roger came into the church he started snapping pictures. His take charge attitude was perfect for the day. Everywhere I looked he was taking photos of something or other. He even crawled around on the floor at the reception to try and get a picture of us dancing in our boots. The ideas and previews he showed us were breathtakingly beautiful. Thankfully, they moved the proposal up by a few hours. 5 minutes before the proposal, a maintenance truck drove to our exact spot, but they managed to wave the truck off just in time. They did this without tipping my fiancée off, while hiding in plain sight. My fiancée and I couldn't have been more pleased with how the proposal went. FULL-SERVICE. Besides planning, Carmen advised on outfits. She has Pinterest boards to give you inspiration for each season. She has vendors to suggest if needed. For our fall shoot, we followed them around as they brought us to beautiful fall spots off the beaten track, feeling like VIPs. If you want albums, the quality of the sample album we saw was unparalleled. VALUE. Ultimately, you're paying for their artistry in capturing your life moments - pictures you'll want to hang up on your wall and videos you'll want to watch over and over again. They delivered a home run on that front: Carmen & Chad were worth every penny and more. VIBES. Carmen & Chad are absolute gems as people, husband & wife, and parents. I believe that helps them capture others' stories of love, because they *get* it. Finding seasoned people in this industry who retain a sense of wonder is a rarity. They genuinely share in your joy. Communication was easy, with Carmen always quick to reply. I came looking for professionals, and I found them - but we also came away with friends. The only "downside" of choosing them?
