Though I have not…read moreutilized their services as therapists (and hear many good things), they have been a pleasure to work with in setting up a recurring weekly play event for some of the local children (ages 1-3) during the winter months. As many local parents know, there are shockingly few options for indoor activities in our neighborhood within walking distance that are also budget friendly. Big Stride has been our answer! A cozy setting (10 children with one parent or guardian each is really the maximum), there are stimulating toys, gym equipment, a mini trampoline and a small ball pit available to keep little toddlers happily occupied for an hour and a half in these chilly months. Though they are located on the lower level and there is no ramp for strollers (there is a mechanical ramp but it is for disabled access only), there is always someone at the front desk available to help us with making it safely down or up the steps. They are warm and friendly and very helpful. As I said, I cannot speak from personal experience about the therapy services, but their customer service and facility for our play event has been top notch! Check them out!

In their public response to my review, the practice claimed that I berated staff, yelled at staff, and "used the f word several times at different office assistants." That allegation is completely false. I take accusations like that very seriously because they are attacks on a person's character. I have never spoken to their staff in the manner they described. If they have evidence supporting those claims, they should provide it. To date, none has been provided. What is particularly disappointing is that these statements came from a therapy practice. I would expect a counseling office to handle disagreements professionally and focus on facts rather than making public accusations about a former patient. Even after all of this, I am still seeking clear answers regarding the underlying billing and insurance issues. Instead of addressing those concerns, the practice chose to respond with allegations about my conduct that I know to be untrue. At this point, my concern is no longer limited to the billing dispute itself. It is the decision to publicly portray me as someone who verbally abuses office staff when that simply did not happen. Prospective patients can draw their own conclusions, but I believe people should know how this practice responds when a customer raises concerns. My experience has been disappointing, and I cannot recommend a business that responds to criticism by making accusations that it cannot substantiate.

My husband suggested, flippantly at first, that we "go to therapy" -- but two days later he came home from work with this phone number and a glowing recommendation from his dear friend. Neither of us is the "type" to seek out help, but I am relieved beyond words that, in that moment, we both knew that this was something we owed to ourselves, each other, and our two children. We saw our wonderful counselor a couple of times individually, and then over a period of several months as a couple, and we could not be more pleased with the level of insight, professionalism, and compassion that we experienced. I would urge anyone who is, perhaps, a little skeptical about the concept of couples' therapy (especially if things are not *that* bad) to maybe open up to the possibility and perhaps reach out to these guys. I am not usually someone with the time or inclination to leave lengthy (or any) online reviews of businesses, but the positive impact of this center on my psychological well-being and on my husband and our precious family has been profound.

After my insurance was no longer taken by the doctor they only gave me 5 days prior to find another physical therapist which was pretty short notice. The young lady was not knowledgeable till what date o was able to be serviced . After no longer being a patient I needed a referral and my plan of care as well as just documentation of how many visits I've had for court and seeing another physical therapist She told me the doctor was on vacation for 2 weeks and I wouldn't be able to get anything needed . I was a bit confused seeing as I told the doctor I needed this days before my insurance was no longer accepted by their place of business. When I was ready for to get my documents after Much fighting I was in extreme pain by the time it was ready for pick up and couldn't move. My finance had to pick up the referral and wasn't able To get it till 2 weeks after . When he arrived the same receptionist that gave me such a hard time only gave him a harder time and the referral I already had which made no sense I needed a referral from them and a plan of care they didn't even follow while I was there and then when my fiancé asked For documentation of the dates I've been seen she said I had to request my medical history. I then called her on the phone to explain again what I needed and she was rude and spoke over me and had a very nasty attitude and I had to yell over her because she was so nasty. Crazy thing is both me and my fiancé would be seen there with no issue except for with this particular receptionist.But however she gave my finance what I needed and continue to tell him I need to learn how to speak to her. She is absolutely atrocious for her manner , behavior and her from of speaking to guests. The doctor said I probably need a shoulder transplant I said no send…read moreme to Physical Therapy, I want to Elmhurst balance and physical therapist right up the street from where I live and as soon as I got there they were very nice they took care of me I did some exercises stretching and then at the end they put either heat or ice on my shoulder and then they started massaging my back and neck . I can't believe the difference ,they were very patient with me . I would definitely recommend them
