Her home visits with physical and occupational therapists from VNS came to an end and she was discharged and I was looking for more PT and OT for her in the house (after getting a prescription for more sessions from her GP). She was too weak to get to a PT office as frequently as she needed the services. At Home provides PT and OT house calls by amazing therapists! I had at first gone with another company for this a few years ago when my mom needed services after knee replacements. That company couldn't find me available people for a month and half, they told me, so I called At Home (two PTs I knew recommended the company). This company hires EXCEPTIONAL therapists (shout out to her brilliant therapists Elisa and Rachel!) who are soooo gifted, compassionate and flexible. They always tailor my mom's sessions perfectly, she always feels extremely challenged but they never push her too far given her limitations and they are very creative about ways to strengthen her lower and upper body and particularly her core. I have noticed that she is walking up her steep ramp out of her building with much more balance and strength and her gate seems stronger, faster and more aligned. She is just so much stronger since sessions began. My mother has had A LOT of different therapists over time because she's severely disabled and has multiple orthopedic issues so we are not wet behind the ears, so when I say these practitioners are uniquely amazing, it's an informed opinion. They also stay for a really long time and they are so focused and humanistic. A word about the back office: Kareshma (the manager who did intake and found the providers) and any other person I have dealt with at this company are amazing! They are so diligent and on top of things and compassionate and friendly. They even followed up to see if we were happy with the service and whether the practitioners made scheduling easy (they had, the PT and OT bent over backwards to accommodate my mom's schedule and make sure they weren't coming on the same days)... I had found the other company I went with previously (Fox) abysmal administratively, just the pits. It would take multiple calls and emails before I would hear back when I had an issue (regarding intake or billing or finding a second PT when the first one left the company) and to begin with, it would take many weeks for the services to start... Nobody was particularly friendly when you would call, I felt like everyone was burnt out and annoyed even when we would initiate service. In stark contrast, the admin workers are so lovely and smart and caring and they make the process so seamless and easy for exhausted caregivers and disabled people who are overwhelmed by their medical challenges. the services have been a saving grace for my mom and I am just so grateful. One last note is that I just asked and they do indeed offer out-of-pocket services for people who aren't insured or person has maxed out on the services covered by Medicare. I'm not sure we can swing it financially but the fee mentioned seemed appropriate for a house call.

Vinny, Monika, Greg, Emily, they are just so caring, patient and knowledgeable. So much personal attention--they watch and make sure you do every exercise right. And amazing things happen when you follow their gentle guidance. The place is small and the little storefront doesn't look like much, but it's always very clean (you see them wiping everything down with disinfectant after every use), and all the equipment you need is there.

She made me comfortable despite the sometimes awkward topic I was there to address. She is constantly checking in with you to make sure you don't experience discomfort during your session and patiently explains everything she is doing. There will be exercise to be completed at home between sessions but she utilizes a wonderful app where she curates your exercise routines and provides demonstrations for correct movements. She welcomes your feedback on what you can realistically do outside her office and works with you to be as effective as possible so you see improvements. Natalie realized that an old ankle injury I sustained changed my walk because I was still compensating for the injured side and not distributing my weight evenly. This was throwing off the muscles in my legs and traveled up the leg to my hips and pelvis, and here I was just blaming my child! If you attend physical therapy with Natalie you will definitely leave her care in much better condition that you arrived. I highly recommend this warm, caring professional.

On a later call, the owner personally told me that although the time was open, she would not schedule it because it was "too late for my son to be outside." Let that sink in. Not because of staffing. Not because the slot wasn't available. But because she decided, as the provider, that 7pm was inappropriate for my child. As a parent, I make decisions about my child's schedule -- not a business owner. If there were operational limitations, that could have been communicated professionally. Instead, the reasoning was judgmental and paternalistic. Families seeking therapy services deserve respect, flexibility, and professional boundaries. Unfortunately, this interaction showed a concerning lack of all three. We chose to take our business elsewhere.
