We did the Alcatraz room and had so much fun!!! We solved level 2 with 12 minutes to spare but couldn't solve the last level 3 clue in the 50 minutes. It didn't matter though! We had a great time and would love to do another in the future.

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. This is the key to completing an escape room. That being said, this has to be the worst escape room ever made. To expatiate, the rooms are the size of a gas station bathroom. Good luck trying to fit more than four people in the room. By the same token, the rooms are made extremely cheap. The rooms are falling apart and the only decorations are cheap stickers from a dollar store. Continuously, the only thing you do in these rooms is open lock after lock. Nothing else, I mind as well open a safe all day. Another problem is the rooms are themed, but they have nothing to do with the theme. I decided to do a movie room because I thought the clues would be about movies, but nothing was about the movies. The room had nothing to do with movies, the clues didn't, and it was just a scam. All of the "rooms" are the exact same, there is no difference. On top of this, the price was $20 a person for 50 minutes. Absolute ripoff for the quality of the product. The moral of the story is that All In Adventures is putrid garbage and a complete scam. You're better off throwing your money in a fire than going here.

AWARENESS: Since 1934, several inmates have escaped from Alcatraz. Most were captured, shot or presumed drowned. But in 1962, three inmates (Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers) actually escaped "the rock" and were never seen again. That is all true until today, when my wife, son and I escaped from Alcatraz using nothing more than brains and will-power. NARRATIVE: While visiting the Crossgates Mall in Albany NY. We happened upon the Escape the Mystery Room. After checking out the different scenes and price, we opted for the Escape from Alcatraz scenario. Since we didn't have a reservation, we pre-paid the $20 per person ($60 bucks) and were told to come back at a certain time. We arrived 20 minutes early and were told we could start early. Before being locked inside a small, approximately 12 x 12 room. The host gave us instructions and a 50 minute time limit. We were also told we could ask staff for help only twice within the alloted time. SYNOPSIS: Once locked inside, my family and I went to work. Using nothing but written clues, pictures on the walls and lots of puzzle solving. We took it to the last minute wire but, we prevailed. Finishing the challenge with one minute and a few seconds left. After opening the door to escape the room, we were congratulated and told our room challenge only had a 40% solvability rate. Nice! RECOMMENDATIONS: Fun... Fun... Fun... The escape room thing is something I've heard about but had never done. Its was a great first time adventure and challenge and something I'll look forward to doing hopefully very soon.

If you love escape rooms, STAY AWAY! The room was a joke and the store manager was extremely unfriendly. So disappointing.

Also, this was the first escape room I've ever successfully escaped from, so that was definitely another win for me lol.

The challenge level was perfect (a bit of a challenge, but not frustratingly difficult) and we enjoyed that we could work on tasks both separately and together instead of having a linear progression of clues where you work on just one task at a time in order to move on. My experience with Tru Escape was so much better than with another escape room that I went to recently and I can't wait to return to try a few of the other rooms!

Previously, when visiting escape rooms, the host was very enthusiastic when telling the introduction to the specific rooms. This host was not that enthusiastic however. We were visiting the "Outbreak" room and the host just gave a brief intro and said you're looking for an antidote, your time starts now. Not only was the host disappointing but the room overall. It was a small room with terrible clues, and in order to get a key out of a test tube you were supposed to use something just anything, the host later said girls use their hair mostly. This was disappointing as most escape rooms have some sort of object that leads to finding the next object. The locks on the doors were also not very good as we had the correct combination but the host had to come put it in bc the lock was so tricky. Overall, this escape room was a disappointment and was not worth the $25/person it costed. Would not recommend!!

We did the drive through corn maze and and haunted houses. So much fun! (All adults here 30+) and we all had a great time. You first arrive to the drive through 20 mins prior to your selected time- wait just a little while which i liked because everyone goes in one by one and this is cool- plenty of space between cars!you tune your radio to the given station and drive through the attraction. Awesome set up- awesome actors - awesome experience. Lights off windows down and non stop spoOkiiness!! Following that you are directed Into a parking lot- park and you can enter the haunted houses. They are all little individual " panic rooms" very cool! All different themes in each house separated by a corn maze. After all of that you are led into a little village where there is a stage and they do magic performances- along with some food stands and the cutest little trinket store where we got some cool vintagey Knick knacks! I have to say, for an adult this was a lot of fun for our group of 4. There was no " bumping " into other people's groups or little kids ruining the time for us. The lines look kind of long but with social distancing implemented it's really not and you move right along! Not like haunted house ma use to be years ago when it was just chaotic and lines were insane.. The set up was so smooth and easy to follow ensuring you don't miss a thing ! From one attraction to the next just smooth transitions. It was definitely worth the hour ride! They did an amazing job with all of the decor and set ups you can tell they put a lot of work and care into their scare factor. Will definitely be back !!!! Great job & Thanks so much!!!!

When coming to Cooperstown Escape Rooms…read moreyou might just find yourself trying to help out the Sultan of Swat as this is just one of the themed escapes taking place here. A bunch of fellas and I tested our mental fortitude recently when we were up in Cooperstown on a bachelor party weekend. Surprisingly, amongst a group of 8 guys, only myself and one other friend had ever done an escape room. I've "escaped" at several different Long Island-located businesses with each one being pretty well put together through setup, theming, and overall challenge. This definitely raised my curiosity as to how an out-of-area escape room would hold up, especially in a small place like Cooperstown. You honestly might not even know about Cooperstown Escape Rooms if you're not searching for or Yelping it. Only one little sign on the street (plus one other that you'll have to look up for) can be found. Enter the stairs on the side and head up to a little office-sized spot with a few doors to the different escape rooms available. Not all were baseball-themed, but the one we were completing had that aspect. Before starting, a few of us needed the bathroom so we stood around talking with the employee (probably owner) who was super chill and really friendly. He was thorough in his explanation of everything and didn't seem to leave any important parts out. Once we first stepped into the room, those aforementioned baseball aspects were everywhere. It was super awesome to see how this small room looked like a combination of a baseball dugout, lockers, grandstands, and a few other past time-themed pieces. Gloves, balls, and some old-timer items were used throughout the solving of the escape which made it that much more fun. Yeah, a few parts of the room looking a little worn, but it really didn't take away from the enjoyment. Plus when you end up getting out with 15 minutes to spare you all feel pretty good (that was us!). Overall, Cooperstown Escape Rooms was a great experience to have while in this baseball haven. When you're in a town that lives, breathes and bleeds baseball, it's nice to be able to take that aspect (plus a little cognitive challenge) and create a fun time that doesn't involve the hall of fame. Even if we did a room that wasn't baseball themed, the owner was cool enough to warrant a return trip. If/when I ever return to Cooperstown I'd definitely try my chance to escape once more...ya know now that we've saved Babe Ruth and all, haha.
