From the moment you step in the door, to the moment you leave, someone is there to make sure you have a good time. The staff is super friendly, and super helpful. We stopped just to charge our car and ended up having a great afternoon. If you haven't tried axe throwing...they will get you started and you will have fun. Great people. My son and I were first time ace throwers. We were walked through the process and given feedback on what we were doing wrong, where to stand and release the ax. Incredible safe and well maintained lanes. Ask, my son is 10 and safety was not a concern. We will be back. read more

Nice facility. Came on a Sunday afternoon when it was busy but not mobbed, and the combination of classic rock and axe throwing with good coffee was the perfect choice to pick up a slow afternoon. the owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about form: best throws of my life. Handicap access notes: push door but no steps and level access from front door to lanes and bathrooms: plenty of navigable space for a wheelchair or walker/cane. read more

During a company conference we went here for a group activity - so much fun! I can't say enough about how much Sam made the event engaging with all of us. It felt like we were at a friend's game room throwing axes and not in a business. It was the first time that my team got together in a group and this was such a great activity to get to know each other and have a great time. Thanks again Sam ! read more

This place is great! We booked a 1-hour session for our son's birthday. When we go t there we were warmly and excitedly welcomed by Samantha. She got us set up, showed us how to do it and assisted us throughout our time here, giving us tips on how to throw, laughing along with us and really was a part of the entire experience by the end. We had bubble teas which were delicious. We will definitely be going here again and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Great time for the whole family, the youngest with us was 12 and we were never worried about their age. read more

I decided to stop by the Lazy Axe for some random Saturday fun and I am glad I did…read more As a walk in, I paid $27 for a full hour of axe time which came with a friendly and helpful "Axepert" who showed me the best ways to throw the axes, critiqued my form, and had me hitting bullseyes in no time! The staff in general were very friendly and enthusiastic about showing me ways to enjoy this relatively young sport originating from Canada. I learned that they host league nights, and that they even have someone who is nationally ranked that attends. His special throw is the, "canadian flick" (I think) which is where one leans in, and well... flicks the axe at the target. I learned there are many ways to throw an axe over the course of the hour so I was never bored and I felt like I had plenty of time to enjoy myself. There was the standard double handed over the head toss, the single handed toss (my favorite), the flick, the underhanded trick shot, the double axe over head toss at two targets, same thing with the underhanded, and this really hard one where you sort of scissor a overhand and underhand at the same time at two different targets. I was... sort of successful at some of those but definitely would need to be a regular to get good enough to be consistent. They also taught me two or three games you can play with people in your group. So between the lessons, trick shots, and games, I had plenty of things to do for the hour I was there alone. Which if you think about it, is impressive. If I had been with a group, just talking and enjoying everyones company, that hour would have flown by. If you are looking for a fun and creative way to enjoy an hour with a date, or group of friends, or just solo, check this place out. Axe throwing is fun! They have a good online reservation system for groups which I recommend if you are planning to go with a large (4+) group because from what I hear, they can get busy. Especially in the evening time on a Saturday. Just remember to follow the rules, listen to your Axepert, be aware of your surroundings, and please, just don't be an asshole. These are nice people running a nice business with a fun name. No need to hit anything or anyone other than the actual targets with your axe which is really easy to do... when you are paying attention and nice. If you end up going you shouldn't forget to ask about their rewards card. 5-6 visits gets you a free hour. Honestly, I have spent $20-$30 dollars on some things where I had way less fun than what I got out of this experience. It was absolutely worth it and maybe even considering joining a league and socializing with a nice group of axe throwing folk one day. Visit, enjoy!

One difference here is that they helped you try to throw both one or two handed. At the previous space they only allowed 2 handed. Both me and my husband liked the 1 handed better. Thorough review of safety protocols and they were all so helpful to help and offer suggestions for throwing to make it an even more fun experience. A lovely coffe/tea/boba counter-delicious beverages! I had the Fellow Tree- a combo thai tea, shot of espresso and milk product-super cool. Looking forward to trying all the other drinks! We were all newbies and the staff were super fun and engaging in supporting us and even challenged us to the Kill Shot Challenge. Katherine was DA BOMB DIGGITY! We loved trying to win some free play...while we didn't win, we certainly enjoyed trying and will DEFINITELY be trying again next time. this place is perfect for a date night! I took my boyfriend for his birthday and we had a blast. I booked online the night before for one hour for 2 people and it came 55$ with tax and everything. it wasn't super busy and it was such a chill environment. their iced coffee is amazing and they have boba tea as well. as someone who has never even touched an axe I was a bit nervous but Jace coached us and made sure we were both comfortable throwing before he walked away. Super fun outing going axe throwing !! I have been twice recently. For $25 per person you can throw for an hour. each lane has 2 targets and couches for sitting and watching your group. There is a great environment here. The owners are very friendly and helpful when teaching how to axe throw. They also help throughout your time throwing to ensure you are successful. I also enjoy the challenge at the end, which is also very fun !! I will definitely return and reccomend to others !! read more

I bought an hour for my Husband and myself as a valentines present. We had such a blast. My husband couldn't have enjoyed himself more. We even stayed a half hour longer than our time. The coaches were wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am 28 weeks pregnant and had no problem throwing at all! Before we left my husband even ordered our own axes. This is a must do! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. We showed up early for our reservation and we're able to shoot pool while we waited of our lane to open. There is a nice little drink and snack bar as well. You also get a chance to challenge the owner and if you win you get a $50 gift card. read more
