Joe was reasonably thorough, but took entirely too long (+10 days) to write and submit the report. The house has very few deficiencies which would call for this delay. I had to leave several voice mail messages to finally get the report,which was lacking the radon portion. read more

I found Joe Fleming of All in One Home Inspection after doing a search of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) in my area. I had not idea HOW to find an inspector - ehow.com told me to go to ASHI! It was a bonus, that during my research on inspectors, I found two 5 star yelp reviews! (I guess people don't "review" their home inspector on yelp? Do I need Angies list now that I have a house?) We needed a home inspection ASAP and after reviewing his experience and speaking over the phone we scheduled an appointment right away. We, of course, interviewed a few other inspectors but we liked Joe best. Joe investigated every nook and cranny of our 4 bedroom home. He diligently looked inside and out at all potential issues. He was in our crawlspace! He was on our roof! He told us when to replace our water-heater. He gave us tons of useful info. The report was filled with photos and practical information about necessary fixes. I think the inspection was 4 hours! It was beyond complete! As first-time home buyers he educated us on so much. He did so much looking at our house, his flashlight battery died! I believe we paid a little bit more than other inspectors cost - but we got what we paid for - a FULL report and a complete understanding of our house. I was referred to AIO by two separate friends in NJ . I made an appointment over the phone. The week before the inspection, I left TWO voicemails, spaced three days apart, the second of which was on a Friday, and I confirmed the appointment for the following Monday morning. On Monday morning, *10 minutes* before my appointment, he calls and tells me he cannot make it and has no one else that can either. He said he had a scheduling error. The attorney was already at the house, I took off a day of work to go there, and the owners also had to leave. Joe said it was his fault, but that does not really help me. I was at the end of the inspection period, so I was really in a pickle. Thankfully, the agent knew of a number of another inspector who happened to have a cancellation that day. I cannot comment on this person's work, unfortunately. read more

I found Joe through ASHI and hired to inspect two bedroom condo in a high rise building. He arrived on time and spent two hours VERY THOROUGHLY inspecting the unit. I felt very grateful.
