He used compressed air so he could be underwater for extended time, and he found the main leak was behind my spa light. Included in that fee I mentioned is a patch job. They could not guarantee it (sometimes they give a 90-day guarantee), but it's been a few weeks and still holding! I asked the technician his thoughts on the longevity, and he said he's seen/heard of some patch jobs holding up for years. Still, they also provided me with an estimate for a more in-depth / permanent fix in the final paperwork, which was also full of great detail. They also told me that they clear slow pool/spa drains! We had a recent pool renovation, and I think there's a bunch of debris down the drains/pipes, so I plan to have them back out soon for that. I see some people didn't have a great experience, but I'm happy to report that I did. I was literally adding at least an hour of water to the pool every 48 hours before this fix. They got me on the schedule quickly and were very detailed. I loved that and would recommend them for your pool leaks and clogs.

moved here 5 years ago...i thought we had a leak...did the bucket evaportion test..it was normal…read moreevaporation...good to go...bought a auto water refill device to keep the level at normal range...all was good for 4 years...recently i had to change the hose on the refill device..turned off the hose..next morning pool was down 5 inches!...the week before got a letter from hernando water company "you are using way more water than you neighbors"..sprinkler system overuse? nope...got a well...hmmmm...ok...must have a leak..read reviews..called leak wizard been around 60 yrs!...had a tech show up the next day..Austin, great guy completely explained the situation...did a sound test..then did an underwater dye test with a snuba compressor, mask and weight belt main drain...all good...pool light?...bingo! the dye was sucking thru that hole behind the light like a tornado..went back down sealed it up with 2 part epoxy... wham bam thank you ma'am! leak sealed.. problem solved in under 2 hours for a $329 fee...plus he gave me a bunch of tips for future pool resurfacing when we do a renovation someday. very happy with the results..fast service and i would highly recommend this company...yeah some reviews werent good...but sometimes you have to consider the source...2 sides to every story.. i usually go with a local company thats been around the LONGEST..because theres a reason for that.

My chlorine distributor cracked and was causing my pool to leak all over the side of my house. So I…read moremade an emergency trip to GPS Pools. When I got there, I got personal service from Joe*, a tech who obviously knows his stuff. Joe* showed me what went wrong and got me the part I needed. He took the time to take it out of the box and explain how to install it before I left. He even asked me if I had plumbers tape and silicone (which I didn't). Joe took me out to his truck and gave me a roll of tape and a tube of silicone gel to use when I screwed in the chlorine distributor. He told me just to bring it back the next day when I was done. How nice was that? Rather than charging me 15 bucks for two things I'm going to use once, he let me borrow his and trusted me to return it. The best I could do is leave them a glowing review and praise Joe* by name.

We were told the project would be completed in under 14 weeks. Per the contract, we made payments at agreed-upon milestones throughout the build_which has now been paid in full. Unfortunately, despite full payment, the pool remains incomplete. Work has not progressed in several weeks, and the Hardts no longer respond to phone calls and to text messages. To make matters worse, over the past two months, we have received notices from unpaid subcontractors--stating that they have placed liens against our property due to nonpayment by Hardt Custom Pools. We now face the alarming situation of having an unfinished pool, no communication from the contractor, and active liens on our home.

I would be very careful when considering Hardt Pools to do any work for you. Their Google reviews…read more(they have two Google business profiles), Yelp reviews, and Facebook reviews speak for themselves. So, if you're looking for a warranty on the work you spend your hard-earned money on, I would look elsewhere. They owe many people money, and I would guess they won't be in business much longer. I built and managed their website, which they broke the contract on, and they haven't paid the final balance after multiple promises to do so. Hopefully, this makes people aware before they, too, lose their money or end up with liens on their house due to this company not paying their subcontractors and also not very sub par work.
