The buffet offers a plethora of seafood, salads, meats, pastas, caviar just to name a few. I usually do not like buffets because they usually focus on quantity over quality, however Biltmore focuses on quality. Everything I tried was exceptional. This is was definitely a memorable experience.

So, to kick-off my 80th Birthday celebration, my "Mr. Boo" (yes, I date at 79), made reservations for 5 of us, another couple and my son. We sat outside on the terrace right in front of the window with ALL the seafood one could possibly think of eating. The waitstaff was interesting is my best description: "hi, can you bring me a few limes, several..." he said I don't want to bring too many in case you don't use them.... we are sitting there staring at an abundance of seafood in a window; seriously? you don't want to bring too many??? Okay. I thought I would really enjoy the oysters, they were "thrown" on top of each other so that every oyster I had, had chips of shell; it was so very annoying... Moving right along. The waiter never explained the lay of the land of the food; we did NOT know the breakfast "stuff" was on the otherside of the courtyard and we need to do a little exercise and take stroll. Strolling is good, you need to move around and stir it up. We did not know where the breakfast was until we were pretty much ready to wrap it up. Yes, you can say, we should have asked... WHY, do I have to ask? I was enjoying the seafood, just needed an egg/sausage and was too busy talking. Let's get to to the chase; I am disappointed. I told my son The Setai could NOT touch The Biltmore. Boy was I wrong... The shrimp were overcooked, the lobster was chewy... The juice for the ceviche (I believe Tiger's Milk) was killa - that ceviche must have been sitting in that juice for hours; I would chew it up, drink the juice and "politely" remove the ceviche; how about downright tough! Loved the caviar bar, enjoyed mutltiple glasses of champagne. They did bring a dessert to sing Happy Birthday; then my son has to go look for the waiter so we could pay and go... OH LORD, forgot!!! breakfast had the cookies, my friend came back and is eating her cookie and a giant azz hair - she has short hair, i have less than short; the guys have barely hair to no hair. I caught the eye of the hostess and discreetly told her she has hair in her oatmeal cookie. She said she would take care of it. I am looking and waiting... nobody came. Then she said she notified the manager and he would be over. If he came over, you did... that was when it's time to go. No manager every showed up. No apology and the waiter could not get his act nor our check together. Extremely disappointing experience for what should have been a stellar brunch as I celebrate 80... back to the Setai and a few other places... I really wanted this to be great; I do not like righting bad reviews... this was just not a great experience for the 4 other people who had never had the Biltmore experience that I have enjoyed in the past. Enough said!

I had…read morebeen familiar with her creative work for a few years, and she was our first call when my husband and I started planning our wedding back in early 2020. Through the rollercoaster of planning a wedding during COVID-19, Adri remained cool, calm, creative and flexible. She helped us downsize our 300+ person wedding into a gorgeous and incredibly special micro wedding with our immediate families. Adri is an incredibly detailed process manager and her design sense is unparalleled. But what really sets her apart is her beautiful spirit and passion for creating extraordinary events. It is truly a joy to work with her, and she radiates a calming presence that puts everyone at ease. She treats her clients like family, and is kind and collaborative with every vendor. There were so many instances when Adri went WAY above and beyond the scope of our contract to make sure every our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. Even her amazing husband Gabe (who is a full-time firefighter) showed up on multiple occasions to help! Thank you to the Creative's Loft and its one-of-a-kind founder, Adriana, for making the most important day of our lives so perfect, memorable, and uniquely magical!

She took the time to learn about us and hear what we like, and carefully curated the wedding of our dreams (with, of course, her unmatched creativity). Miami is an intimidating place to plan a wedding, and she made the process smooth and easy. Having someone with expertise surrounding budgets, reliable vendors, and flexible venues is key to being stress-free while planning a wedding. We got so many compliments from guests saying it was the "best wedding we've ever been to." I'm not sure if my husband and I will ever be done looking at pictures from our day; it was the best weekend of our lives. Forever grateful for Adriana + team for making it happen.

This was five years before Miami was even a city. It is the oldest civic group in Miami. Aware of the feeling of isolation that pioneer women could feel in the area Flora wanted a place where women could find fellowship and camaraderie. The club was created with the goal of "community uplift," which was achieved through fundraisers that paid for needs in the community. The club motto was "lend a hand". The promoted literacy and education. Their first project was to raise the money in 1894 for a Sunday school which later became the historic Plymouth Congregational Church. The fame of the Housekeeper's Club spread quickly. Within one year of its inception, Harper's Magazine, a major national publication, profiled the club. The Woman's club became the social hub of the city holding concerts, parties, and performances. Through the years they supported important causes like preserving the Everglades, a library, a girls ranch, cancer survivors, teaching children to swim, and canine companions. Over 100 years later the Woman's Club is still going strong and supporting civic activities in the community. Today you can rent the historic Woman's Club for weddings and private events. The building was designed by Floridas first registered architect Walter de Gamo and it was completed in 1921. The building is made of stucco, oolithic limestone, concrete, and stone. It is a rectangular shape with a gable roof and wrap around porch. In 1975 it was added to the United States national Register of Historic Places. The club has been renovated and special occasions can be booked through CG entertainment. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here once and it was a lovely and historic venue to hold such a special event. An added bonus is that you can cross the street to get pictures along the water as well. La

The guests raved about the delish food, and the decor package we selected looked perfect. We had a small gathering around 80 people. To start the festivities off drinks were served on the portico while the wedding party completed the photos. After dinner the DJ took the stage and the dancing started. This intimate venue was dream come true. Rudy and Leslie Rowe made sure we were completely relaxed and handled all the details during the reception allowing us the luxury of being a guest instead of a stressed out host and hostess. We Highly recommend Coconut Grove Events and especially the venue at the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove.
