Invited here for cocktails and dinner as it was part of the conference I was attending. First off any venue in Coconut Grove you know will be fabulous and I am going. As I drive up heading South it is located on the west side of the road across from the Bay. I pull in and there is a valet located to the back side of the property. As I enter it is true old Coconut Grove with gorgeous natural landscaping and out door lighting. There is a building and courtyard as well as a large tent that is used for the outdoor dining portion of the evening. So we start with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. I stayed with the sparking rose champagne it was terrific. As for the hors d'oeuvres they were well presented and great variety. Please note due to the dim lightning my lack of photos tbough personally I love the ambiance of the evening. As for dinner it was buffet style not my favorite choice given the large size of the group. Food for the buffet was not great. Yuca fries were cold which is my fave no bueno. At $400 + a ticket they could have done better. But I definitely would come back as I am not sure that they control the food only the venue which is 5 star all the way.

I cannot put into words how amazing this venue is and how helpful the BHC team that you can book with Villa Woodbine has been. We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic and both times Eden and her team were sublime. So helpful, so kind, and unbelievably knowledgeable. Last, the wedding is stunning! My wife and I got so many compliments on our wedding day and the pictures are breathtaking. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Perfect wedding venue. Turned out better than I even imagined. Felt like a fairytale.

Lovely space for outdoor events under the canopy of old trees. The indoor spaces are lovely too. But I found that the outdoor area made this special.

My husband and I recently attended a mid-April wedding at Villa Woodbine and we loved the space! The venue felt very "Italian" vineyard to us - like a romantic, garden estate. The house had a cool set up - we had fun during the cocktail hour - and the garden where the wedding and then the reception took place was very romantic, homey. It was much different then a hotel wedding venue space and we loved it! My only negative comments: during the wedding reception, they were preparing the tables for the reception. I wish they would have put up screens or a sheet or something so you wouldn't see this. I saw one of the gentlemen taking his break, smoking a cigarette (and I don't mean hiding behind a tree or something like that, I mean literally in plain sight while watching the vows). Also, the cocktail hour got quite warm (it is south Florida) - perhaps better fans, AC, etc. Overall, the food was good. Drinks were great and the space was breathtaking!

It has excellent elevated views of the Miami skyline to the east and the Miami River, boats, and the W Flagler St Drawbridge (historical landmark, built in 1938) to the west. I believe the penthouse is located on the 10th floor of a relatively new building. 2. The venue is modern and versatile. The inside spaces (including restrooms) had a clean, updated look. For this event, there were multiple bars and food stations set up both indoors and outdoors. The dance floor was outside. The combination of string lights, rooftop patio decor, and the city skyline was beautiful. There was only one elevator to get everyone up and down, so there was a bottleneck there. They brought in a fire dancer to perform outside on the rooftop, which was really cool.

There's limited street parking, but there's an adjacent parking lot. I'd recommend using a valet service if you are hosting an event here. I absolutely loved the views here, which is why this place gets 5 stars!

This was five years before Miami was even a city. It is the oldest civic group in Miami. Aware of the feeling of isolation that pioneer women could feel in the area Flora wanted a place where women could find fellowship and camaraderie. The club was created with the goal of "community uplift," which was achieved through fundraisers that paid for needs in the community. The club motto was "lend a hand". The promoted literacy and education. Their first project was to raise the money in 1894 for a Sunday school which later became the historic Plymouth Congregational Church. The fame of the Housekeeper's Club spread quickly. Within one year of its inception, Harper's Magazine, a major national publication, profiled the club. The Woman's club became the social hub of the city holding concerts, parties, and performances. Through the years they supported important causes like preserving the Everglades, a library, a girls ranch, cancer survivors, teaching children to swim, and canine companions. Over 100 years later the Woman's Club is still going strong and supporting civic activities in the community. Today you can rent the historic Woman's Club for weddings and private events. The building was designed by Floridas first registered architect Walter de Gamo and it was completed in 1921. The building is made of stucco, oolithic limestone, concrete, and stone. It is a rectangular shape with a gable roof and wrap around porch. In 1975 it was added to the United States national Register of Historic Places. The club has been renovated and special occasions can be booked through CG entertainment. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here once and it was a lovely and historic venue to hold such a special event. An added bonus is that you can cross the street to get pictures along the water as well. La

The guests raved about the delish food, and the decor package we selected looked perfect. We had a small gathering around 80 people. To start the festivities off drinks were served on the portico while the wedding party completed the photos. After dinner the DJ took the stage and the dancing started. This intimate venue was dream come true. Rudy and Leslie Rowe made sure we were completely relaxed and handled all the details during the reception allowing us the luxury of being a guest instead of a stressed out host and hostess. We Highly recommend Coconut Grove Events and especially the venue at the Woman's Club of Coconut Grove.

The restaurant sits next to the Coconut Grove marina, and is accessible by land or sea. The atmosphere always feels like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Our server was Iria and she was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu and perfectly attendant. She wasn't hovering over us but checked on us enough where we were perfectly taken care of. We started with an order of the peel & eat shrimp. This is seasoned with old bay and it was delicious; only complaint is they weren't cleaned very well, several of them were cut open but the "vein" was still very present. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, probably should give 3 but the rest really made up for it. For the main courses my bf had the seafood pasta which he said was good, although the sauce was a bit plain (he described it as having a ragu flavor). I had the Baja tacos at his suggestion and boy was it a good recommendation. It comes with 3 tacos and they are packed with fish. They were absolutely delicious. The tacos also come with a small side of elote which had a strong citrus flavor, absolutely delicious. All in all, I don't know why we don't come here more often but we will. Monty's should always be an option when the weather is right.

She walked us to a table that was about to be directly in the sun, so we politely asked if we could sit at the table right next to it instead. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not very busy at all. She immediately told us no with an attitude that was completely unnecessary and honestly set the tone for the entire experience. Then our server brought out our $9 non-alcoholic drinks, and one of the glasses had what looked like actual dirt all around the rim. We pointed it out and asked to switch it for a tea instead. When he brought the tea, he explained that the "dirt" was supposedly just from the watermelon. It was 1000% dirt. Regardless of what they want to call it, the glass was visibly dirty and should never have been served to a customer. After that, our server barely came back to check on us. To make matters worse, when we received the bill, they had actually charged us for the drink we sent back because the glass was dirty. The food was below average as well, especially the fish dip. The non-alcoholic teas are also $9 each, which is insane considering the quality and overall experience. The entire establishment felt dirty and poorly taken care of, and the staff seemed more interested in standing in the corner gossiping than checking on their customers. This was our first time here, and we absolutely will not be coming back. The current 3.3-star rating is generous. Whoever owns or manages this place seriously needs to reevaluate the level of service and cleanliness because this experience was unacceptable. 0/10.
