Luckily, there is a garage maybe a 5-minute walk away which had surprisingly cheap parking for the area. There were staff there to direct us when we first walked in, and they were super helpful. Everything was so clean, the decor was beautiful, and they had every type of space you need for a wedding (entrance, bar, outdoor ceremony area, indoor reception, and maybe more that I didn't see). I can't speak to the planning process working with them, but from the perspective of an attendee, it was absolutely perfect.

On further research it turns out this place is relatively new, see what I found out on the good old net - Originally constructed in 2003, the Cruz Building in Coconut Grove recently underwent some restoration work to its interior. The facade resembles a French row house, with natural keystone and travertine columns, iron balconies, authentic gas-flame lanterns, and Gothic stone sculptures. A good portion of the building's contents are architectural European and French New Orleans antiques. In my defense they do feature antiques inside, (pheww, I have a reputation to defend here!!!) What can I say? I love history, and they DID should an awesome job, it authentically looks old. I am still a fan and my review is still a 5 star.

For this event, there were multiple bars and food stations set up both indoors and outdoors. The dance floor was outside. The combination of string lights, rooftop patio decor, and the city skyline was beautiful. There was only one elevator to get everyone up and down, so there was a bottleneck there. They brought in a fire dancer to perform outside on the rooftop, which was really cool.

We chose the birthday celebration package, and the ambiance was just perfect. They had our table beautifully decorated with rose petals, and the attention from the servers was outstanding. She loved every single detail! We ordered several appetizers to share, and everything was delicious. We also had a great time sharing some amazing wine with our family and friends. The food was fantastic, but the absolute highlight of the night was the live music. A mariachi band came over to sing 'Happy Birthday' to her and then went table to table taking song requests. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience. I highly recommend this place for birthday celebrations, especially for the ladies! I will definitely be returning here to celebrate our anniversaries and future special occasions.
