My husband and I were shopping around for a new agency that was capable of handling commercial policies for our business and personal lines. All together we have about 7 commercial policies and 5 to 8 personal lines (including the kids). Our last agent, of over 18 years, was really struggling in the capability and accountability department. Trying to have a conversation and be very transparent was not working out for us. So, back in March, of this year, we started researching independent agents in our area. In May we came across Tracy and Mark. I took the time to really investigate them thoroughly. I checked out the Better Business Bureau, the Washington State Insurance Commissioner's office and really took the time to read the Google and Yelp reviews from real customers. One thing that consistently stood out to us was the comments on customer service. Now I know we all want to save a few dollars, but I firmly believe you get what you pay for. Now a days it is very difficult to find knowledgeable, friendly, determined and kind customer service people who actually follow through! From our first very hesitant call, Tracy was patient and kind and always followed through. Even though she was scheduled out for an emergency, she still followed through. When she couldn't, Mark did, and in a very timely manner. We were blown away. When we finally got to meet, they were so eager and receptive. It has been a long time since we have come across customer service such as this. I was welcomed and greeted very friendly and professionally. Tracy and Mark are very 'real'. Mark took the time to go to my husbands storage and view hs business equipment. Mark took time to inspect the business van and make sure were we insured correctly and adequately. In 18 years our last agent never did a coverage review or ever checked in with us unless we called. Tracy must have spent over a week reviewing all my personal policies insuring that I would have the right coverage on all our personal lines. Especially our home and much needed scheduled jewelry.
