He did a quick preliminary diagnosis and gave me a fair quote for the alternator parts and labor. A few hours later, instead of just doing the expensive repair, he called me and explained that the alternator was actually fine -- the real problem was a wire that was shorting out and causing the symptoms. The repair ended up costing significantly less than expected because they were honest enough to fix the actual issue instead of replacing parts I didn't need. I also had them change the fluids and filters while it was there. He said it looked like my spark plugs needed changing as well. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. Luis notified us of a few other optional concerns on the van and when I asked how urgent the timeline is if we wanted to delay these repairs, I genuinely appreciated his honesty because he helped us assess that the break repair was more pressing than the shocks. Knowing the impact of delaying these repairs is helpful to prioritize as customers. In terms of their prices, they were competitive with others too. His guys in putting the transmission back pinched the alternator wire and ignition wire between the tranny and block which shorted my system and damaged the alternator. I had it repaired after he told me it wasn't him, so I took it to be repaired to find out it was them he refused to pay repair bill and said to take him to court. Also transmission still leaks after taking it back the second time. It didn't leak when I originally took it to him. They don't take responsibly for the damage they create. I would never recommend to anyone.

The steering wheel was not straight and the V was pulling hard to the right. I did a quick internet search and decided to pay a visit to Ledezma's Muffler and Alignment, and I'm glad I did. I grew up in the south bay and passed by their shop all the time, but this was my first visit. I was told they've been in business for 40+ years. Chris greeted me, took the V for an initial test drive and went to work. I enjoy working on cars and Chris brought me along every step of the way. He's super knowledgeable. He broke down the issues with the V and how he was going to fix them.
