I drove about 1 hour to pick up a part that I was told over the phone that it was "insurance quality." Surprisingly it was not insurance quality and damaged with trim broken and deep scratches. Not even five minutes after purchasing without being able to look at the part thoroughly and part still on the car I was told that I could not get my money back. The representative was of no help and couldn't care less about the situation saying I could not get cash back and it would be at least 25% restocking fee, eventhough the part is still on the car. After having to wait about 30 minutes for the part the mechanic who took it off the car damaged it even more. Was lied to on the phone several time about an engine i wanted. No cash refunds. I got there from a 3 hours drive. The engine wasnt even out if the car like they said it was. The ad said the engine is tested but what they meant was that when they got the car, it was running. The salesman had an attitude with over the phone and in person. The engine obviously had a head gasket leak... this place was just trash i would never recommend this place it is very sketchy... i had a better experience buying my engine from a private seller. It's a scrape yard people. The mechanics are not certified and don't have the tools they need to get the job done right. I spent $1700 for an engine Jose offered and recommended that they do the installation. It took a month and a half for it to get done and it's not up to par. They are not organized and not confident in their work. Robert has been doing this for so long that you would think things would be easier and cleaner when coming to the finish product. They told my mechanic that they would call him back the next day with all the information about the motor (VIN, compression test) but they never called back. My mechanic called them the next day and spoke to an employee named RYAN. Instead of appreciating the business they were receiving, they told my mechanic to go find business somewhere else after we asked him if they were going to provide all the information about the motor they promised the day before. So I waited till next day, and when I talked the them, they said that some company came and bought all there car's computer, therefore they cannot start the engine anymore, but they will guarantee the complete engine in question for 3 month, and if pay them by Zelle $500, there mechanic will remove the engine from the car immediately, and I will have the complete engine the next day 10:00am, if I pay shipping extra $150, and I agreed. So Renee Ayala texted me from his cell phone his information, and I zelled him for $500. Do not recommend buying parts here. I been told that i will get my parts in a week, but i got them only month later. And i supposed to drive thru different bus stations thru my town , be on the phone for hours for a few days only to find in which bus station they are. After i finally found my parts, they were damaged, i saw old damage(cracks which didnt been and disclosed and very deep scratches) and new deep scratches because they didnt pack body panels. I was buying insurance quality A parts in "like new" condition. My amazon 5$ packages packed better than 300$ worth of parts. It was packed in tiny small food wrap without anything else. So they sold broken parts and then didnt even bother packing broken parts and they got even more damage on the way. Do not order from here if you dont want waste money and time. They refused to make return. Parts are useless, they are not repairable and i bought them as A mint insurance quality parts to just install on the car and dont do any paint job.(but even paint job will not help, because they are broken, too much big cracks everywhere) So basically i just threw 300 cash ..And of course they refused to make refund. So now i gotta report them to business license department of CA state, bbb and other investigators, so they will check them from time to time. Its not how you do business. read more

5/10/19 Brought in my car to get the motor swapped on april 13th and got a guarantee of 10 days and it'd be done. Another problem was encountered with the wiring harness so that 10 days turned into a little longer but I wasn't mad because from personal experience with cars you never know what else is wrong when you go to fix something else. I would call respectfully at the beginning/end of the week to check in on how my car was doing just because I didn't want to be a bother but Robert from Montoya's auto wrecking would tell me different days my car would be ready to pick up and I would go to call on those days and the pick up date kept getting pushed back. It's been 21+ days nearly a month that I haven't gotten my car or a date to pick it up. Haven't gotten mad or anything but I am getting tired of waiting. If you need a couple parts then maybe this is the place to go but for any car work I'd take your car somewhere else. Ill update this if i ever get my car back. 5/13/19 Update got my car back. Initially I was supposed to pay the rest of the 1200 since i paid 700 already but then I needed a new radiator so Instead of paying 500 i got charged 741 for the other half and Robert refused to take credit card. Upon receiving my car back there were parts that were not installed that were written on the receipt to be installed. So not only did I get charged an extra 241 parts werent installed.
