Made an appointment on Saturday for a technician to come out. I was given four hour time window. Just as that window was ready to expire. I get a call telling me the technician is going to be a half an hour late. I told them I'm sorry I can't wait. Rescheduled for Monday between 11 and one. At 11:30 I decided I would call. Something told me I needed to call... When I called in and explained what I was checking on - to make sure that the time window would be met by someone here to do the work. I was told nothing was in the computer show I'd even called on Saturday. Really? Seriously? What type of clown show are you guys running over there? Beyond ridiculous - do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Total waste of your time. I ended up scheduling with another company for Wednesday. 9 to 11 window. I believe they will show up. If not they're going to get a nice review as well. Just because you're not selling someone a garage door doesn't mean you're not supposed to keep your word. Yesterday my electronic gate got stuck and went off the tracks. I called this company. worst mistake I ever made. The technician firstly said he'd charge $1000 to fix the gate or I can pay $4000 to replace the motor when he claims it was not putting enough power for the gate. It was a very stressful and obviously I needed to get this fixed so I reluctantly acquiesced. Afterwards I felt that I was pressured. To do this, so I called my cleaner who is also a professional handyman and asked for help. He was able to put the gate back on at the track within half an hour for which we agreed I would pay him $70 the only thing wrong with the motor with it was dirty I needed to be cleaned which we did, there's absolutely no evidence to suggest that the motor is not able to work with this gate which is not a hugely heavy piece of equipment. I am sick and tired of so-called contractors in this city taking advantage of people. I don't have a lot of money just because I live in a big house . I'm retired and my wife is a schoolteacher, so I'll combine income is not great. Manageable for us certainly but not great yet here comes these tradesmen who know that there is a quick back to be head and takes a vantage of people like me. This is a very depressing and stressful situation , I do blame myself I shouldn't of succumbed and I should've got additional quotes or contacted my Cleaner straight away but he did pressure me now I don't know whether or not this motor is worth $4000 to replace but since the gate is working perfectly fine now and it cost me anywhere between 1000 and $4000 to fix it be aware what these people are capable of doing and get multiple quotes before calling these guys this is a very simple job and try and charge $1000 to fix something that will take. Five minutes is completely outrageous. I learned my lesson the hard way that you promised to reimburse me for the deposit that's fine I have seen no evidence of that in my credit card statement they owe me an apology but I'm sure that will never be forthcoming read more

This review is SOOOOOO long overdue (about a year and a half), but I was just about to refer them to my mom and realized I hadn't posted a review myself. I was having problems with my garage door and went on Yelp to look for a repair person. I found another company which, unfortunately I can't remember their name but I hope I remembered to give them horrible review. This person came to my house, insisted that I pay him cash for a job that was never completed. So at this point, I'm out about $400 (because I'm a sucker) and I still cannot get my garage to work. AND, it's already around 3:00pm on a Saturday afternoon! Then I remembered that we had called a garage door company when we first moved there and lo and behold, it was All Magic. Eddie came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. The motor had gone out. I explained to him what had happened with the other guy and he did his best to work with me. He had just come from a job and had a used motor, still in good condition. He took off the old and tried to use the one he had (which he offered me for free if it worked), but unfortunately it did not (and yes, I saw for myself it didn't work). All in all, I did end up getting a new motor and Eddie did cut me a little break, but I would have paid him double for the kindness and effort he showed trying to help me after I had just been screwed. Our garage door opener was old and just stopped working one day. We tried installing one ourselves, but were having trouble, so my husband and I were manually opening and closing the garage door. Eddie had just repaired my neighbors garage door and saw me manually opening mine. He stopped by, talked to me for a bit, and gave me his card. One of the torsion springs on our garage door got broken so I called around multiple garage door repair services to get quotes or at least some ballpark numbers. Out of all the guys I talked to Eddie sounded most professional, patiently answered all my questions, and gave me the best number. Eddie gave me two hour window to come by and arrived within the time frame. Once he started working on the springs, I could tell he was indeed very experienced and again explained all my questions. He also changed the bearings without any extra charge and replaced the shaft for a minimal charge as it was in bad shape. Once he finished, he lubricated everything, tightened all the hinges, and adjusted the opener for no extra charge. He did all these for less than what others were quoting just for replacing springs. Oh, also it turned out our 7 1/2 feet tall wooden garage door required bigger springs than usual, which all were quoting me for. Eddie is honest, experienced, and professional.
