We needed to find moving help on Tuesday to be finished by Friday a.m. Not ideal timing, but we had an emergency that changed our plans. I contacted on Tuesday and by Wednesday 11 a.m., the mover had agreed in writing to come Thursday morning early for our small job. I wrote around 6 p.m. to confirm the exact time only to discover the mover wasn't coming. No notice and no explanation for why he hadn't contacted me other than to say he'd been busy that afternoon. Then it got weird. When I asked how he could cancel last minute like this with no explanation and no notice, he tried to gaslight me by saying it was my fault for booking last minute. There was no mention of this being too last minute when he'd agreed to do the move earlier. Also, super ironic for a company called "Anytime Anywhere"! Not sure what changed in the time since we'd talked. Our job was small and now he had a very early big move the next day. Maybe our booking so late bothered him so much he couldn't take it, and he'd decided to teach us a life lesson about planning by being a no-show. :D Not sure...in any case, see the screenshots and judge for yourself if you would trust this company with your business. They were flexible with my timing as I was coming into town in a friend's truck and he needed to be back on the road before the next snowstorm came. The team came out pretty much exactly as our truck was arriving and they began unloading. Most of the boxes were placed in the correct room as they did have stickers on them which I got from Amazon and I highly recommend as it's so much faster than writing But I was mainly pleased that they were able to accommodate my four hour timeframe as I was not exactly sure when we were arriving due to road closures from rock slides and weather that seems to always arise inbound to Southlake Tahoe. Pressing not out of the ordinary for the area and as far as I'm concerned anyone who will come and lift things helping me avoid further sciatica damage are worthy of the rate they charge. It was a little hard to get the forms filled out that they needed in order to initiate service being that I was moving all of my computers were packed up in a truck and filling everything out from the app while I was driving was a bit challenging. The price for 2 guys was $300; and we had some other items moved as well. They stayed about an hour or so. The movers, Sandor and Xavier showed up promptly at 8 am to do this, and then moved a large CRT TV to my husband's truck. They were friendly, polite, competent and efficient. We will definitely use Mile High again if we need anything else moved!
