I had to give them a star in order to write my review. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Movers arrived to my 1 bedroom apartment (packed) and they unloaded at final destination at 6PM. 8.5 hours! They broke my 65 inch tv. it looked like they stepped on it. when plugged in, you could clearing see the heel imprint. They stripped the screws on my bed. So bad that they messed up their own bits from the tool box. They left my new apartment with my mattress on the door, frame leaned against my closet. One of the movers, explained to me that the OTHER worker used the wrong head (bit) to unscrew and then screw back in! Had to call my son in law to help. he had to buy all new screws to fix their error. i did a claim (just one) but only the one, because the company ONLY allows you to file one claim. My offer for a $700 TV, is a payment if $150. I moved 7 miles down the road...my cost was $1256. DO NOT USE THEM! I was screwed over and this move cost me so much more than it should have. After my negative experience with All My Sons Moving, I feel it's important to share our story so other customers know what they could be dealing with if something goes wrong. We hired All My Sons for our move on June 24. While removing our refrigerator, the moving crew decided to take our front door off its hinges rather than simply removing the refrigerator handles. Unfortunately, when they put the door back on, the hinge screw holes were stripped, causing the screws to no longer hold and leaving our front door unable to be securely attached. At the time, we weren't overly concerned because Cameron, one of the movers, immediately documented the damage with photos and sent them to his manager, Adrian. We were assured the company would take care of it, so we trusted the process. The problem was that we were selling our home, with the final walkthrough not even five full days later and closing 6 days later. Waiting up to 30 days for the repair and claim decision wasn't an option. After explaining the situation, I was told to have the repair completed myself and submit the receipt for reimbursement. It wasn't ideal, but we had no choice if we wanted to close on time. We hired a local contractor who repaired the damage for $400. We submitted the paid invoice, and All My Sons already had the photos their employee had taken immediately after the incident. Instead of reimbursing us for the repair, the company initially offered $100. After several additional conversations, they increased the offer to only $150. What frustrated us the most was not the amount--it was the way the claim was handled. Our claims representative, Joe, was extremely rude and responded to an email of ours saying: "A box of 75, 3-inch wood screws can be had for less than $20 at a hardware store." That response was incredibly dismissive. Of course we tried the obvious solutions before paying a contractor $400. Because our front door has glass panes, using longer screws wasn't a safe or effective repair. If a $20 box of screws had solved the problem, we never would have hired someone to fix it. Throughout the claims process, I called All My Sons five or six different times and spoke with AB and several other employees, hoping someone could actually help resolve the situation. Unfortunately, I kept getting passed around without any real resolution. Even today, after nearly a month of back-and-forth and after my claim had already been closed, I requested to speak with a manager. I was told, by Joe once again, it would take three to five business days for someone to call me back. After insisting on speaking with a manager that day, I was finally transferred--only to sit on hold for nearly an hour before no one ever answered. To make matters even more frustrating, it became clear the damage could have been avoided altogether. Cameron, Adrian and members of the moving crew acknowledged that removing the refrigerator handles would have been the better approach. Ironically, when they delivered the refrigerator to our new home, that's exactly what they did--they removed the handles instead of taking another front door off. I understand accidents happen during a move, and I never expected perfection. What I did expect was for the company to stand behind its work and reimburse the actual cost of repairing damage caused by its employees. Instead, I was met with a dismissive response, a settlement offer that covered less than half the repair cost, repeated dead ends when trying to reach someone with authority to help, and ultimately a closed claim. In the end, I'm left paying $400 out of pocket for damage I didn't cause after spending nearly a month trying to resolve what should have been a simple claim. One star is too generous. Do not use this company. We have been ghosted by them after they destroyed walls in our home, took electrical switches off the walls, and refused to payout our claim. It's impossible to get in touch with management, and the people that do answer the phones are incredible rude and refuse to help. First, the movers came unprepared without boxes nor papers after we already told them the day before that we needed them to pack not just move. They smelled like cigarettes which was disgusting specially that they were touching my clothes and belongings. The total move cost was way higher than the estimate. Worst Moving Experience I've Ever Had. (And I've moved a lot). The biggest issues were bait & switch pricing, one thieving crew member, and the overall set up and business practices. This move ended up costing approx $3200. Paying a premium for poor service is not okay. No Inventory Sheet. This practice is atypical, in my experience. And builds a sense of mistrust at the outset of the moving process. This was not made clear prior to moving day. By that time, we did not have an option but to proceed with the move. A super shady mover who dropped f-bombs and stole our tools. Issue 1. Laziness. We had 4 movers, but "Lazy McSteal-alot" had chosen to start in the garage and take break after break while the others were packing up the inside of the house. Now we realize he was probably taking breaks to steal and sneak things onto the truck. . Lazy repeatedly loudly used profanity during the move. His favorite of these words starts in F and ends in K. Lazy frequently begged for things he saw. "Did you want this?" or "Are you going to keep this?" or "Can I have this?" Lazy TRIED to steal our gas can. At one point in the move, we smelled gasoline and wondered where our metal gas can had gone. We wanted to ensure this was out of the way as we understood that All My Sons does not move chemicals. When we finally asked about it, he said "Oh it must have got packed up." He then went into the truck, could be heard opening boxes and moving items around, and then returned it to the garage and asked, "Oh, did you want it?". We responded that we did want to keep it and it was not mentioned again. Lazy stole all of our tools. We did not notice until a few days after the move when we went to look for a hammer and screwdrivers. We are also missing a set of Ryobi brand drill bits. Lazy had a super nasty attitude. The young woman of the crew was unloading boxes at the new house. Lazy was sitting on the ramp. As she came down the ramp with a large box, he refused to move and made it difficult for her to get by. This was dangerous. We concluded the move in the driveway. We thanked them for their help and signed paperwork. Lazy, said, "Just to make sure you know, we do work for tips. You can do it via Venmo, etc." And then he stared at us, leaving an awkward silence. Eventually, I answered that we'd gotten venmo details from the young woman on the team. At that point, Lazy became wrapped up in asking her to make sure she split everything three ways. This was all done in front of us and it was obvious that both she and the other mover were uncomfortable. My family tried to file a claim for multiple broken items, but after submitting the form for one broken item after not receiving proper instruction on how to submit multiple items on the form, we were NOT ALLOWED to go back to submit another claim for other broken items. The entire claim process was confusing and unclear, and when we reached out for assistance to file another claim form, every customer service representative showed zero empathy regarding our broken family heirlooms, and refused to let us submit another claim for. This was the worst move I've ever experienced. They charged me $1,100 to move a 1 bedroom apartment THREE blocks into a 1 story house. This includes a $130 fuel charge which is STUPID. One of the movers was unable to lift heavy objects, so my boyfriend had to help move the dresser. Then the other mover hit my dresser legs on the stairs and now it wobbles. I heard a crack when it happened. It was 2.5 hours before they got a single furniture item in the truck. They spent a majority of the time standing around, or wrapping items. They did not ask me if I wanted to pay to have my TV boxed, they just did it, charged me $60 for a box, and spent almost an hour to box it up. ONLY TO LOSE MY TV LEGS! One of the movers spent at least 45 minutes wrapping a large furniture item. They were either taking advantage of air conditioning or running up the clock (or both) They also dropped 3 boxes off the ramp and broke my great grandmothers items. Several expensive items were broken. The workers were careless. I am currently trying to locate my TV legs and process a claim. BEWARE, this is not a good company to use. Follow up - Their agent was rude and when I said the replacement value offer was too low (like 1/3rd of replacement cost) he said I was being unreasonable and withdrew the offer. Their tactics are intentionally predatory. After some escalation they offered me slightly more for the damaged items, and never found my tv legs which I had to find on ebay and re-buy myself, they never paid for that cost. read more

They were deliberately misleading about how much things would cost -- quoted at $189/hr (already a high rate) -- but then threw in a lot of last minute "travel" and "gas" fees. Scam prices for the work done. They know what they are doing. At best, you'll be given a warning about the cost on the day before your scheduled move -- far too late for you to change your mind, right? -- though I never received their email, because they misspelled my address. They know what they are doing. Once the truck had been loaded up and taken to the new place, the movers showed me the bill to pay -- again, too late to change my mind. When I questioned the charges, the mover immediately called up his supervisor for me to speak to. The supervisor, with almost no effort on my part, began lowering fees. This suggests that they know their prices are obscene, but they think they can get away with it, so long as the customer doesn't complain (which they obviously do often). They know what they are doing. Their "Community Coordinator" might go through the poor reviews here and pretend that each 1-star is a one-off occurrence, but this is clearly not the case, or there wouldn't be so many people saying the same things. They know what they are doing. Maybe you have a friend who recommended them to you. Maybe you look at the few positive reviews and think you'll be one of them. Don't do that to yourself. Stay away from All My Sons. You will be a 1-star review. They'll make sure of it. They know what they are doing. As a side note, the actual movers were very nice and professional. HORRIBLE. If I could give this place zero stars I would. As a real estate agent I will not only never recommend their services to any friends or clients, I will actively be going out of my way to tell any and everyone to NEVER use this company for anything. There's no organization, despicable customer service, and their high rates do not match the poor quality experience they provide. Testimony: I scheduled my move and paid the deposit on Wednesday, 11/20, and was told the movers would arrive around noon on Sunday, 11/23. On the day of the move, I waited but heard nothing by 11:30, so I called the office. I was told the crew was on their first job and would finish by 12:30, with a call to follow within an hour. By 1:30, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. Staff informed me the crew was running late and now expected to finish by 2:00 and head to me by 2:30. At 3:00, there were still no movers, so I called back. They explained the crew's end time had been updated to 4:00 and they'd arrive by 5:00. At 4:52, they called to inform me the crew had just finished but refused to take my move, citing insubordination by the movers as they did not feel like driving the distance. My move was then pushed to the next morning. I asked if another crew could complete the job that evening but was told none were available. They offered a 10% discount and $50 off for the inconvenience of me having sat at home ALL day waiting on these movers who ultimately cancelled and now having to sleep on a pallet on the floor as my bed was dismantled in preparation for the move. I declined, asking to speak to a manager. I left a voicemail with a manager (Melissa?) but have yet to receive a response (it is now Tuesday, 11/26). HOWEVER, none of that pales in comparison to the blatant disrespect I received from an employee the next morning. The movers, a man and two teenage boys, arrived around 9 a.m. While they were out retrieving materials, I called All My Sons to speak with upper management about proper compensation for the significant inconvenience I'd experienced. I wanted to ensure an agreement was reached before allowing the movers to proceed. When I explained this to the employee on the phone, he dismissively said, "That's fine. I'll just tell my guys to pack up and leave. We have other customers." Shocked, I asked why he was canceling my move for simply requesting to speak to a manager. He replied, "Your crew yesterday had delays, we rescheduled you as the first move today, and already offered 10% off plus $50. Since that doesn't work for you, I'm canceling your move and sending my guys to another job." When I pointed out I'd already paid my deposit and delayed my move a day, he said, "I'll refund it." I ultimately accepted his offer to cancel the move and refund my deposit as I was no longer willing to give that company another opportunity or dollar after the callous and dismissive way their employee spoke to me. Luckily, I had the most AMAZING experience with Bobbie at The Move Place. After one quick call, he had a crew of 3 men at my place within an hour and they did a fantastic job getting me moved in only a few short hours! I could go on - I first thought to reach out to the company to complain and respectful request a review of my charges. I emailed NINE different email addresses with NO response received. Even wecare@allmysons.com - no reply. Now I have to resort to other means, including social media - ensure that others are not overcharged by these unprofessional hoods. We moved it to Monday. They never called on Sunday or Monday to advise what time they would be there. I had to call them Sunday and was tokd someone would call me Monday morning when they were on the way and they movers would arrive between 8-8:30am. We made the 30 minute drive to the old house to meet them. I called on the way to ensure they would be there to be told they actually wouldn't be there until sometime between 12. & 3. They called at 12:30 to say it would be around 2ish. I advised them to give us a 45 minute heada up call sincebwe now live 30 minutes away. Nope. They just showed up with no call. They dis not disclose the trip or fuel surcharge until right before the move time. A 4.25 hour move 23 miles from start to end point was $1100. Including a $169 fuel surcharge. They will nickel and dime you to death amd charge you for everything including plastic wrap at $30 per roll. I will NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone. King moving did our inside move and did an excellent job. Stay away from all my sons unless you want to pay a premium price for half service with ZERO communication!! BEWARE read more

The delays and poor service were entirely due to Brian and management's decisions. * Brian refused to park in the closest and most convenient spot I suggested, despite his crew agreeing it would make the move easier and faster. Instead, he intentionally parked farther away, forcing the movers to take longer. * He spent excessive time on his phone and iPad, instead of directing an efficient move. * His actions appeared to be a deliberate attempt to inflate the total time and cost of the move. Im very upset!!! This is the worst company. My daughter moved and was trying to be independent, her first move by herself and this company screwed her. She had 1 king size bed..1 60 inch Tv..a small TV stand and 6 small to medium size boxes. No furniture! This App made me add a STAR. Would GIVE A NEGATIVE IF I COULD!! Was quoted $436.00 and when they showed up with our belongings, they would NOT UNLOAD OUR THINGS UNTIL WE PAID THEM $1140.00. Then to top it off, They took the glass shelves out of his display case, dented his media stand and took apart his bed and did not leave all of the hardware. BROKE A $400.00 lamp and they unloaded everything into the garage and did not put up any of the beds, which we were told they would put up. They are LIARS AND THIEVES!!! in June 2021 I hired ALL MY SONS MOVING to move me from Rockwall to Pilot Point. They sent two big black men who spent four hours packing up seven boxes and using two rolls of Saran Wrap to wrap all my purses into one huge ball.. They ignored the things I emphasized to take with me. After five hours of this crap I was so tired. I said let's go. We drive to pilot point which is 20 miles north of Denton and in the middle of nowhere. These movers break a chair, a lamp, drag a sofa across the floor and rip the flooring, the vinyl flooring in big gouges. When I complained, they said file a complaint with the company. They rushed me to sign the papers and did not tell me the papers included a damage report. But they did stand in front of me, two big fat black men, and demand a tip. Each one of them demanded $100 tip. And I was too afraid to say no. I will never ever ever recommend ALL MY SONS MOVING..... don't know who's sons these men were, but their mamas should kick their butts and ALL MY SONS MOVING should be embarrassed. Attention! If you ever need to hire a moving company, THIS COMPANY will cause you REAL DISTRESS AND ANGER!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! I used them to move my things to a new place TODAY and it has been a NIGHTMARE. They were originally supposed to move my things on YESTERDAY, however they had me SITTING WAITING THE ENTIRE DAY, only to receive a phone call at the END of the day saying, "we can't get to you today we'll get to you tomorrow morning"!! There was NO apology in that call, just a COLD QUICK CALL!! *Oh wait!! They called me in the middle of the day telling my they could send a THREE MAN CREW to my place but it would cost me MORE for the third person! I told them I DIDN'T need a THREE MAN CREW because I didn't have that much stuff and DIDN'T want to pay MORE money! When I refused the THREE MAN CREW I was met with an attitude and told "we're not sure when we'll get to you"... * When I was finally called at the end of the day yesterday, I was then told I'd be the FIRST move in the morning at 9.am, ONLY to have to call the company today and ASK them what time they were coming because 9am had passed!! They finally showed up at 10:45 am! So after missing an ENTIRE DAYS WORK and then waiting longer than expected TODAY, they finally came and moved my belongings. not long ago! Initially I was quoted an hourly rate of 169.00, they ended up trying to charge me over 500.00 to move a queen bed, sofa, two flat screen TV's, small entertainment center and 10 boxes... And the move was only 15 MINUTES AWAY!! They called themselves discounting my move since they left me hanging yesterday, and it was A VERY DISRESPECTFUL MEDIOCRE DISCOUNT!!
