Got there and it was not open. Looks to be closed until further notice. Too sad because the last time I was here they had a great selection.

This is by far my new favorite thrift shop in the city!! I stopped by last week to check it out…read morefinally. I'd been wanting to come here since it opened and I WAS NOT disappointed at all. It's inside a house so there a so many different rooms to shop and browse. There is so much to see you need to make sure you have enough time to really walk through and shop. I loved all the variety, the brands, the unique finds. I spent about an hour in here and got so many cute finds!! Some shirts, dresses, earrings and so much more!!! I didn't want to leave and honestly I will probably be back next week lol. The pricing wasn't bad either. Not super super cheap, but not too expensive at all. The variety and cleanliness was so good. I recommend this spot to thrift lovers and if you've never thrifted you should absolutely check them out and expand your horizon. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!! The service was awesome as well. I chatted with the woman there for a bit and she was so kind and funny!!

In an old Tudor style home, this shop has a lot of clothes and jewelry. Only thing upstairs is a room for vinyl and vintage cameras. One rach of tshirts. Fans were on cause it can get warm up there. I think it was 6 rooms to shop in. Make sure you check every space because the halls had art for sale. I did see sitting space outside. Maybe that's for the spouses who want to wait instead of shopping! Staff were friendly but definitely not pushy. I purchased purse decor that was cute. I will definitely come back.

This came up on Yelp during my search for antique stores in Hickory. This is NOT an antique store…read morebut it's a pretty cool furniture store with what seemed to be reasonable prices.

A very nice consignment store, well laid out, up and downstairs. Lots of stuff, although all we…read morewanted to see were chairs. Help was available and they were very helpful. We saw one chair we liked. It would fit our needs, was the acceptable color, material and size...a la my wife's seeking standards. Did we buy it? Of course not. Hickory is loaded with furniture outlets, so off we went a exploring. A couple of more locations and them the big kaboom: the Hickory Furniture Mart. Another review coming on this enormous, four level block-filling edifice containing just about any manufacturer and style of furniture one could imagine. We did not find anything that was better than the one at The Hickory Tree, so after some coffee and lunch at the Olde Hickory Station (see that review), we returned to the Hickory Tree. Since this was a consignment store, all items had a sales price tag with the prices listed over time. What I mean is that a price of $175 was scheduled to cost $150 on the first of the next month, then it would cost $135 the next month, and so on. This being the middle of the month, and not wanting to risk the desire chair being sold while we waited, we bought it...right then. They accepted credit cards. With the help of a young man we loaded this chair into our SUV and were off for home. An excellent, but exhausting furniture shopping experience that I survived. Before you blow your mind out looking for furniture all over, start here at the Hickory Tree. Prices reasonable and mark-downs abound. And nice people.
