Sure enough, Jason came out today and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. He completed the repair in no time and was very upfront and honest about the pricing. What made the experience even better was that I wasn't even able to be there in person however Jason still made the entire process seamless by keeping me updated throughout the whole process with messages, photos, and phone calls the whole time. We were basically able to handle the entire project virtually, and by the time I finally got home, everything was already completed perfectly. Other contractors were quoting ridiculous prices for such a small repair area, but Jason never once tried to upsell or take advantage of the situation. As a woman, I've unfortunately experienced contractors trying to overcharge or push unnecessary work before, so I really appreciated the honesty and transparency from ProGrade Exteriors. What impressed me even more was that they went above and beyond by helping fix a small issue near my front entryway simply because they noticed it needed attention. When I received a quote from Paragon everything was written up in a contract explaining the things they do and the the things they don't do. There were photos and descriptions for optional materials listed with prices. There were no surprise extra costs or added fees. I was in the hospital when the day came to replace my roof but trusted these guys to make sure the job was done right. When I got home the roof looked amazing and when I had questions Brandon was happy to come back out and explain everything. If you need exterior work done, call these guys and you wont regret it.

And I told them todo what they needed to fix my leak on my roof. They said ok, warned me that they are a two week wait period again. Well today is Monday and they call me saying they can come today, I told them I'd be home by 2 pm, they were already there, they had already inspected the roof and wanted to see the inside of the house where the leak was. McKinnis told me what they were going todo, and said it would take 3 to 4 hrs.

Gutters/downspouts and wrapping the fascia. Subcontractor used: "Exteriors by Westphalen". Job…read moretotal about $1600 and apparently not worth the company paying too much attention to the job. A half inch gap between two joining pieces of facia on one side and on the other the downspout hole was placed a good inch too far inboard resulting in the downspout resting hard against the trim. Note the downspouts are mounted a quarter inch from the house courtesy of the mounting brackets, and that's good, but they put the hole in the gutter for the downspout too close to the side of the house... Meh, pictures are worth a thousand words and yes I took pictures. Don stated the Westphalen guy told him he'd do whatever it took to make me (customer) happy when I showed the problems to him after installation. Long, long story short, the Westphalen guys came out today to fix and 1) Gap still there. 2) They moved the gutter a little but not enough to fix problem of inappropriate gutter/house trim contact. At first, Don at OG & S tried to convince me the downspout placement was "normal", took me 15 minutes to convince him I knew better... Talk about trying to save a buck, customer be dam_ed! When we decide to side this house we will NOT use Omaha Gutter & Siding. Do what you can to see if whatever company you choose uses "Exteriors by Westphalen" and if they do, RUN. Oh, never mind the initial "forgot to call you backs", etc, I tell ya, I will not use these guys again.

Jamal needs to read the contracts and claims, and any complaint he might have is with the insurance company, not Takoda. They replaced the roof twice (because of hail damage) and did the gutters on our new house. The work is always fast, reasonably priced, and done RIGHT. I am hiring them to do more work on our new house as well. Don't let someone who is taking his frustrations out on the wrong person because he doesn't understand how insurance works color your view.

Above and Beyond Roofing

BBB complaint I filed-…read more I noticed that I had standing water in my kitchen that was coming through a crack in my ceiling. After doing some troubleshooting in the attic I realized that the issue was coming from the roof. I called Above and Beyond Roofing to come out and take a look since they were the ones that replaced my roof. They came out, agreed that the leak was coming from the boot and put caulk around it to stop the leak. The leak did stop. I let them know that I would be contacting a handyman to get an estimate for the repairs for the water damage. Within the next few days I called them and emailed Above and Beyond roofing with no response. After getting the estimate I called them again and was able to talk. Above and Beyond Roofing started saying that the estimate I got was ridiculous and the leak wasn't their fault. I sent them the pictures I took, detailing the leak and the steps I took while troubleshooting. No response. I called them again today and they came out but only to argue that the estimate I got was ridiculous and the leak wasn't their fault. I am only asking them to repair the damages caused by the leak by a reputable handyman and the items I had to purchase while troubleshooting (gloves to work with water and insulation, a flashlight for working in the attic, and a can of Flexseal and waterproof tape).
