Regular burger (I kinda squished it lol)
    Jessica L.

I have tried all out burger a couple of times now and I have not been disappointed. Their burgers are definitely handmade, and don't look like they use any filler. They're juicy, flavorful and exactly what I want out of a burger. They don't skimp on the veggies either. Their fries are the thick cut, arena style fries. But we've also tried their chips and poutine as well. Their chips have some kind of a seasoning on them, that I don't personally enjoy, but it's a preference for me. Other people who've tried them with us loved it. Their poutine is made with their thick cut fries and curds, the gravy tastes a little reminiscent of what you'd get from a fast food chain. Not bad, but not the best poutine I've had either but I've most certainly had worse. Their food is way too filling for me, but hey at least I'm not still hungry after the fact. I will definitely continue to order from here going forward. I've only ever ordered this in, but have had to call and ask questions and they're always so friendly and helpful, so I suspect the in person experience would be pleasant as well.

Was on my way to Seed To Sausage and saw this new burger place. Dropped in to check out the menu. Combo less than $15 seemed decent. Placed my order for a cheeseburger combo. Cheeseburger + fries + a drink for around $13.25. I have to say, the staff here are great! Really friendly and nice guys working that day. They said I should have my meal in about 10 minutes so I grabbed some quick groceries and came back. Food was ready and I was on my way home. First impressions, the fries are thick cut and seasoned interestingly. Burger looked good. The fries were pretty good, I think it took in some moisture from my drive him so in the summer, grab it and sit down to eat in the area. The burger was pretty good, I think I'll ask for some custom toppings next time. The patty could use some slight seasoning but besides that I'll be back again.

I LOVE their chicken strips and burgers. You also can't go wrong with fried cheese! The desserts are just okay, that's my only criticism.

Wow. No words. AMAZING…read more There's no sign for Sasha, just a white sack that says poutine, hot dogs, sausages. There's seating in the back. Amazing. No words it was immaculate. Poutine had lots of gravy and cheese curds, every bite had the perfect ratio. Even with so much sauce and cheese, fries are crispy even after 30 minutes of eating. The gravy is so well flavored, I liked the bowl clean of the gravy with my sausage. The polish sausage was amazing- Smokey juicy and grilled so yummy. The bread was soft and melted so well with the sausage. I put some gravy on top of the sausage and wow. A MUST! CASH ONLY BTW! The lady so sweet and explained the different flavorings of the sausages :) SO WORTH IT! The best places are the local mom and pop shops! :)

We walked over to this little stand, which I actually had no idea existed, to get something quick to-go. There was no line late on a Friday night. We got a few different sausages and poutines and brought them back over to eat on the Laff's patio. It had been a long while since I had a grilled Polish sausage, so that's what I got with a little ketchup, mustard, and some chopped raw white onions. The sausage was perfect, tasty, hot, and not overcooked, just what I was craving and very satisfying. There was only one person behind the counter, a young guy who was very sweet, super fast, and we were really impressed he remembered everything we ordered. They have a small menu of your standard chip wagon fare - fries and poutine, hot dogs and sausages, pogos, and drinks, plus ice cream. Great spot that's open late (until 3am I think) for before/during/after a night out at the bars.

Waitresses are all very nice and polite! Boyfriend had some breakfast plate and coffee, I had my usual corn dog with fries and salad, and a margarita. Our meals were great. Beans served with his breakfast were well seasoned and delicious. Fries are noticeably freshly made and so tasty - and I'm picky about fries. I guess my only complaint would be my drink - both today and on our previous visit, they seem to have changed their margarita mix or recipe - it tastes different and I liked it better before. Too bad because this place used to be in my top-3 fave margarita spots (with Antica in Niagara Falls and Little Grill in Littleton NH!).

I ordered king eddy breakfast that comes with bacon, rye bread, 2 fried eggs and very small cup of chili (sample size you get from supermarket). I also upgraded to poutine. The breakfast are decent. Enough for leftovers for dinner. Steak and eggs. Steak was flavorable. My wife ordered scrambled egg with it, plus white toast. Decent. Kids ordered pizza. Pizza isn't that good. I think they have partnership with next door lil z pizza. Flop. And not as good as pizza pizza. Corn dog kids also are men. Services was excellent. Waitress was attentive. Nice and smiling.

The Long Version: My husband and I love Farmers' Markets and since the Parkdale Farmers' Market is within walking distance for us, we go often. This year (2025) we noticed a new vendor: Tito Leo's BBQ. So we had to check it out. We got a small chicken BBQ platter with half rice and half fries ($10 taxes included). The rice is Java rice, which is rice cooked in chicken broth and turmeric. It was good and more exciting than just plain white rice. The fries were shoestring fries, my favourite cut. The chicken was chopped up BBQ chicken layered on top of the rice and fries. A tangy BBQ sauce was poured over everything. The chicken was tender and moist. I would have preferred less BBQ sauce because the dish was a little too saucy for my liking, but overall I still really enjoyed it. My husband liked it too. Service was courteous and efficient. They have a few private tables in front of their kiosk, but there's the main seating for the market too if those tables are occupied. There's also picnic tables at Parkdale Park right next to the market. We were lucky to score one of the private tables. There are a few parking spots at The Parkdale Farmers' Market. Otherwise, there's street parking, both paid and free spots in the area. Review #123 (2025)

It was offering a BOGO deal on Korean beef corndogs. It was exactly what I needed! I placed an order for two beef corndogs with garlic sugar. I also got a Diet Coke. My timing was perfect. I placed the order in my car that was parked at RCGT Park. My order would be ready by the time I got to Seoul Dog. What was a pleasant, perhaps shocking, surprise was heading downtown just past 8 pm and finding out that Seoul Dog has a parking lot. Free parking. What?! I felt like it was either a mistake or I had won a mini jackpot. I pulled into a spot and walked in. I got to the counter and indicated that I had an Uber Eats order. The nice woman handed me a paper bag with my items in it. I thanked her and happily left with my order. I headed back to my hotel room and chowed down. On Uber Eats, the corndog was going for $9. It's kind of pricy considering that Chun Chung offers fancy rice dogs at $7 tops. I will admit that the ones at Seoul Dog are a bit longer, so perhaps that makes paying $9 a dog a bit easier to take. I got my corndogs plain. As much as I dig ramen chip and potato cubes, I wanted something simple. I got both corndogs sprinkled with garlic sugar. I didn't know what it meant. Luckily, there isn't any sugar. It looks more like powdered sugar, but it's all garlic. As a garlic lover, it was the perfect garlicky level of yumminess. The beef hot dog in each one was plump and juicy. I liked that the batter was crispy on the outside, which a mild chewiness that was enjoyable. The cold Diet Coke washed everything down so nicely. It hit the spot. It was wonderful trying out a local Korean corndog joint and having a couple of corndogs for dinner. It made up for the small hot dog that I had at the ballpark. I'm thinking that the ballpark should offer corndogs from Seoul Dog. It's easy to eat them on sticks. (258)

Long before ChungChun Rice Dog infiltrated the Kogo market, lol. They started out on Clarence St and then moved to Lyon St and now are on O'Connor St. I really enjoyed their beef corndog. I got it with the regular dough, but you can get it with spicy jalapeno dough too (for an additional $1). I also got it plain, but you can get it topped with potatoes pieces or ramen chips (again for an additional $1). I got the garlic sugar sprinkle and spicy ketchup and mustard sauces. The beef corndog is regularly $9 but UberEats was having a BOGO deal, although the price is $10 on UberEats so I paid $10 for 2. The beef hotdog was juicy, and the batter was crispy on the outside and had a pleasant slight chewiness on the inside. It wasn't too thick. Admittedly, garlic sugar sounded weird to me as a sprinkle on top, but it oddly works and tastes good. It's super garlicky though, you have been warned. They gave us 1 tiny packet of mustard and a tiny Solo cup of spicy ketchup for both corndogs (see picture). The spicy ketchup was tasty and not too spicy. I dumped the container into the box and dipped the corndog in it because there's no way the corndog would fit into the tiny cup. I also opened the packet of mustard and squirted the contents into the box for dipping. So while I thought it was tasty and reasonable with the BOGO deal, I personally think the regular price is too high for what it is. The regular beef corndog is only $4.99 at ChungChun. Yes, ChungChun is a chain, and I always root for the underdog, but twice the price is too much for me. Seoul Dog does have the option of Jalapeno dough, which ChungChun does not have. Their current location is great because it has free parking, which is very rare for a restaurant downtown. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating and a lot of both. I picked up my UberEats order and the pickup was smooth. I got there early so just hung out outside until the app told me it was ready. I entered as soon as the app alerted me it was ready and they were just packing it up. No complaints with pickup. I'm glad I got to try the OG in Ottawa kogo, lol (still need to try the OG in Montreal kogo at Picks on Saint Marc, which was years before it's time, but I digress). They also sell Korean donuts at Seoul Dog. Not exactly sure what these are, but I'm interested to try them, especially since they have an apple flavoured one.

Happened upon it thanks to recommendations from our awesome CM Risa (who told Mariko, who told me, who told... U get the picture) because it happens to be right in primo hiking and camping territory right off the highway (117-N). (Like literally RIGHT off the highway: SLAM ON YOUR BREAKS! OH NO, YOU MISSED IT! OH MAN, HAFTA GO BACK AROUND! ...and it is SO worth it, so do go back around if you miss it lol.) This seems to be a little family run spot. Son is definitely the best at providing friendly, sweet service, Dad's not terrible but not super bubbly or anything and Mom ...well she's a weird one, but it seems like once she recognizes you service becomes sweet and very attentive all of the sudden, so bonus points when you come often! And luckily the food is just so damn good that finding excuses to come back is really not an issue. Been here a few times now, hands down it's their Special Burger with the absolute win, don't even argue w me! Burger: let them all dress it for you "the special", a delcious seasoned homemade pattie (albeit small, but so tasty) topped with cheese and hot peppers and tomatoes n lettuce n onion, their special house creamy sauce, and ALFALFA SPROUTS?! WHAAAAAT?! Fking LOVE that about this place. Ive tried their other menu items and (still have a few to try), but so far I can't not order at least 1 burger here when I come. Fries: o-m-f-g-excellent by themselves, unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with the result in the poutine, but maybe we ate our poutine too fast and needed to give it time to let the flavours marry a bit better. I just keep ordering the fries by themselves though, small in portion, but HUGE in taste! Homemade Pogos?! : that's right folks, they take hotdogs and dip them in their own homemade batter and deep fry scratch pogos for ya on the spot! They are really good, but really tiny and expensive and essentially just taste like an ordinary hotdog in a really damn tasty dough. Chicken burger: hmmm the chicken was really good, but had an odd texture, same toppings as the Burger so that's amazing too, but the bun is slightly too big and the chicken slightly too weird for this to be something I'd order regularly. They also boast many vegetarian options here too like the pogos and veggie dogs and I am told it's amazing, but I'm not buyin into that, gimme the meats! Price is quite expensive for a little road side truck stop, but the quality and love put into this food makes it worth every penny spent so I can't even remove a star for that. There's one tiny bathroom which is not ideal, but does the trick. There's outdoor seating and 'indoor seating' (screened in dining area). And also a kyoot space for kids to play (swing set). This place is quiet at the beginning of the season, but gets busier as summer goes along. We were always in and out within 10-15 minutes, though. Even if it took longer I would still give this place 5 stars the food is that amazing. Perfect little pit stop. A must-stop for sure and I even recommend going out of your way for this. Dammit. Now I want another burger and fries.
