I specifically asked for an itemized invoice for tax purposes and never received one. For this price point, I expected transparency, documentation, and some type of workmanship guarantee. I called them the next day 5 times and left my number and they NEVER returned my calls. I called them several times after that and still no return call. I tried to contact the Better Business Bureau but there was no record of Lusk in Blythe. They aren't part of the BBB and it's obvious why. They rip people off. Finally they called and said they'd talk to the ones they sent over. I called them back and the owner said they never worked on my watwer heater. He said I stopped payment on my card (which I did several days later because they hadn't returned my calls and broke my water heater.) So yes, I did stop the payment later. It's going to cost me mush more now to fix my water heater than the $206 dollars they charged to replace a $5 hose. The kids he sent over that day said my hot water would be back on in 1/2 hour. I waited til the next day and it never came back. So after several days I stopped the payment because I knew they were ripping me off. Now the RUDE owner is saying I did something to my own hot water heater. I called them the NEXT DAY after they left. No receipt, nothing to sign, and then hiding from me. These guys are horrible and will cost you more than what they ripped you off with originally. They are the most EVIL human beings on the planet. I'm a disabled veteran. They have no morals or shame. All I needed was a vanity in my bathroom replaced but the new vanity was a floating vanity to help with mold issues that had been happening on the floor of the previous one. Once the vanity was taken out at 10:30am it was clear that the pipes needed to be moved higher for the floating vanity. That's when I should have called my plumber. That's when he should have suggested that rather than attempting to cut the drywall and move the pipes on his own. After 10 or more trips back and forth to Home Depot and almost 11 hours of work I asked him to leave at around 9:30pm and called my plumber because he could not finish the job enough for us to turn our water back on. I recently hired this team to help with an old water pipe with a valve in my backyard for my…read moreirrigation system (Picture 1). Unfortunately, their work was far from professional. Here are the issues I encountered after they completed the job: 1. Misaligned Pipes: The newly installed pipe was not aligned properly with the existing irrigation pipes. They forced the connection, which caused water to leak from the connector. (Picture 2, 3) 2. Improper Sealing: The team used electrical tape to wrap the leaking connector and applied sealant over the wrapped pipe. This did not solve the problem and left a messy seal on what were once clean pipes. (Picture 4) Despite calling them multiple times, the leaking issue persisted. The team came back twice and blamed the old PVC pipe and exposure to sunlight for the loose connection and leakage, and asked for an additional $200 to replace all the pipes. Because of the poor sealing job, I had to spend an extra half hour cleaning the old PVC pipe and redoing the work myself to fix the issue (Picture 5). However, after I realigned the vertical pipe and used PVC primer and cement, there were no more leaks. This clearly shows that the problem was due to improper installation, not the age of the pipes. I would not recommend this team for any plumbing work based on my experience.
