Omar (the owner of the company, and the person who moved the piano) was an absolute pleasure to work with. He worked with his son to deliver an upright piano to our home in Boston. The move went super smoothly, and it was clear that they handled the piano with the utmost care. It's so nice working with a piano mover that is a professional pianist himself, and treats the pianos he's moving as if they were his own. Would highly recommend! Also, reading through this other reviews, I thought I'd mention that the logistics of it all were very smooth. The piano was delivered on the agreed upon date and time, and Omar was very easy to communicate with. He Lied, Damaged Our Piano, and Never Followed Through We hired All-Pro Piano Movers because we wanted professionals--not the cheapest option, but someone we thought was reputable. That's not what we got. The owner lied to us. He showed up almost two hours late in a trailer, not a professional moving truck. During the move, he and his helper damaged our piano in multiple places: A chipped corner on the top A large visible mark on the side Additional scuffing from over-tightening straps with a winch My wife immediately noticed the damage and pointed it out. I asked him about it, and instead of taking responsibility, he coldly said, "I can take it back." That's not how a professional handles mistakes. Trying to be reasonable, I accepted his offer to come back and fix the damage with stain. He made an appointment--and never showed up. Then he rescheduled, and again, never showed. Just excuses and last-minute texts. This company was unprofessional, unreliable, careless, and dishonest. His service, communication, and punctuality were all terrible. If you're reading this review, I hope it saves you from going through what we did. Follow up - After sharing my honest review based on personal experience with All-Pro Piano Movers, I received the following message from the owner threatening legal action unless I removed or changed it. He accused me of "libel," mentioned an attorney, and warned of a potential lawsuit for "loss of business." To clarify: my review is based on firsthand experience and includes factual observations and personal opinions, both of which are protected under the First Amendment. Massachusetts law also includes anti-SLAPP protections, which are designed to prevent individuals or businesses from using legal threats to silence public feedback. Edit: Omar felt very bad about the delayed delivery. He finally drove through snow and delivered the piano close to midnight, after a long day of work. He was kind and understanding of my frustrations and also bundled some piano books for me. It's a 4 star because of the entirety of the experience. Initially, he mentioned to me that the piano was late 90s / early 2000s, but it was a 1988 piano. Which is ok, I'm happy to have a solid piano that'll hopefully last another 20 years. But, in spite of its age, it looks to be beautifully maintained. Original rating: 1 star. Original review: Omar is so personable. I trusted him and sent him 2300 for a p22 piano he said he could deliver to me, knowing my location. 6 weeks later after repeated excuses-- rained out, storage was flooded, health issues-- still no piano. I was so excited for a piano but after repeated disappointments and then getting ghosted on the day he said he'd deliver ( after canceling last minute in me over and over), i can't recommend this business at all. Apparently I will get my money refunded tomorrow but after these repeated broken assurances, I dunno any more. Omar provided top quality service, even after hours, because he values customer service so much. Omar moved a piano I bought from a private seller to my home and his expertise at moving this heavy instrument was impressive. He used wheels, pads and a helper to maneuver the instrument into my house without a scratch on the piano or my house. On top of that, he was communicative, responsive, and very knowledgeable about pianos. The price was fair and he went out of his way on a Friday night to pick up the piano and deliver it. He didn't have to do that, but he offered. When it says online that he is available 24/7, believe it. By the way, when you use Omar to move your piano, ask him to play a little bit for you. He is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory and toured internationally as a concert pianist. He is a very skilled player in addition to a top-notch piano mover. read more

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. I share the same sentiment with everyone here: I had a piano being moved from Millbury area to my home in Worcester about a year ago. Affordable quote. But I was at work and heard NOTHINg For the scheduled move. After calling (which is not the customer's job to check on them!!) Omar had an excuse and I literally told him on the phone "but this isn't my problem, you need to communicate with your customers if something changes." So a morning move changed to the next day late afternoon. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY!! (A year later) I am moving the piano (per a friend's request for this mover) to a different house. Scheduled the move yesterday for today "between 9 and 10am." Apparently, now the move is scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) between 9 and 10am. LET's FOLLOW THROUGH. I will never recommend this company. I'm only doing this for the friend that is taking the piano and it was a cheaper quote than others. But communication is TERRIBLE. Omar needs to learn how to run a business. You don't just bail on customers when something happens. People are relying on you since they can not move a freaking piano. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY (Monday): They're texting my friend who the piano is being delivered to asking for ANOTHER later change. From 9/10am to 3:30 pm!? How are they THAT behind already!? Completely unprofessional. Canceled due to a truck problem then no-showed for the rescheduled appointment with a lame excuse. We would have called it quits but we were under a time crunch so we took the re-rescheduled appointment. Then they couldn't remember what they were moving or what they had quoted for the job. Omar, happy to post an update to help shed some light on my previous review and clarify some things for other potential (but hopefully they go elsewhere) customers. 1. The movers, as in the two guys who actually showed up for the move (since you didn't), we great and very quick with the move. But as mentioned, my review was for YOU, Omar, the business operations and logistics. 2. The way you communicate with customers is a JOKE. If you would like me to post our text messages and call records, I'm happy to do that. I'll go ahead and give a very simple breakdown of what ACTUALLY happened. -------- The move was scheduled a week in advance, move time set by OMAR was a pickup and delivery between 9am-11am. Our move was 5 miles from the seller's location. 9:00 am - No confirmation, call, or text that the move scheduled was actually going to occur. 9:47 am - I reach out to Omar online asking for an update, which I get NO RESPONSE to 10:37 am - Omar calls me saying he's stuck on another move that he scheduled too far away and didn't plan accordingly for (weather, traffic, type of piano, etc). He PROMISES me that they will have the move happen before 3 pm. I am forced to take the rest of the day off of work because Omar doesn't know how to plan logistics and operations. 11:58 am - After I text Omar, he tells me it's unlikely he'll meet the 3 pm pickup and dropoff that he just told me he would make happen. He tells me it looks like 4 pm is more likely. At this point, the lady selling us the piano is upset that we have made her wait around ALL DAY for this move. 5:00 pm - I reach out to check up on the move multiple times and 5:00 pm shows up (8 HOURS AFTER THEIR ORIGINAL SCHEDULED TIME OF 9 AM) and Omar says that "we have no choice but to reschedule". Needless to say, I'm livid at this point, for good reason. He tells me that he's "never had this happen before" which can't be true since there are reviews on other sites showing this has happened to other people. Omar then schedules the move for 2 days later, guaranteeing a move between 7-8am. Lo and behold, the piano isn't in my house until after 11 am. The sad part is that I have messages, text and online, showing all of this. Omar, if you'd really like to argue the fact that you simply messed up, I'm happy to post those online to your page as well. I stand by my original sentiment: The guys that actually did the moving (NOT OMAR) were great, easy to work with and fast once they got to my place (late). Omar, however: 1. Doesn't know how to correctly schedule appointments. 2. Doesn't communicate effectively with customers. 3. Makes promises that he can't/doesn't keep. 4. Only makes an effort to communicate after a poor review has been posted. In conclusion, Omar, spend less time trying to argue with honest and accurate reviews and spend more time getting your operations and scheduling more buttoned-up. Good luck! read more

This guy (Omar) is unreliable and incompetent. On delivery day, I was told my piano would be there in the morning. At 2:00 in the afternoon, I'm calling them to ask where they are. No delivery that day. When they do deliver, they put the legs on backwards and the lyre on incorrectly. I set up an appointment for them to return and fix it, but Omar again blows off the appointment When I text him, he says "Sorry I completely dropped the ball on that." Still thinking he might be reasonable, I set up another appointment. It seemed significant that I had to ask for a time window he would show because apparently, he thought I'd wait around all day. Needless to say, he didn't show - again. No text, no warning. Stay away from this guy. Bad juju. There's far better people around. read more

Nearly an identical experience to mine, only I never ended up with the piano. Plan to file a Better Business Bureau complaint. Omar and his partner Oscar were simply...awesome! They came and moved a family heirloom 1903 player piano (read that as ridiculously heavy and bulky!) out of my house to our cousins. Communication was great - responsive - friendly! I had a last minute curve ball as the piano was supposed to just be disposed of and then a cousin came forward who wanted it. Omar took the change 8 hours before coming to get our piano and delivered it to it's new forever home. He even WD40'd my door hinges that were tight. All Pro Piano Movers offered a prompt service. The movers were courteous and diligent about their work. However I was a little on edge about their methods; especially when a leg of our spinet piano caught the concrete step they were traversing and almost broke off. Secondly they forgot to give me my piano bench and took it with them. I promptly called for it's return but I did not receive it until the next day. Thirdly I am most frustrated by the fact that I was charged more than originally quoted and the owner said he would reimburse me a portion of the expense with and never did. Honestly I would not have cared about the overcharge except for the disappointing service. Not every experience is a winner and movers are people who have good days and bad days. Terrible! I gave them multiple chance to actually show up when they said they would. The first day I had to call multiple times and leave a message and finally text message to find out when they were coming. Omar said they were stuck in a snowbank which I understood. They switched to the end of the day. They again did not show or reach out. I text again and he rescheduled for the following morning. When he didn't show, I left a phone message at their office (only number I had) and sent a text message. We did connect finally. 4 hours after he was due to be at my home he called the other number listed on the project. I had written my phone number incorrectly. He called and said he had been trying to reach me all morning. We had been communicating via text message on Thumbtack the day before. When we finally spoke he said Thumbtack was not real time so he didn't try that way. I will take part of the blame. I do however think they were unprofessional and not timely in their communication and follow thru. A customer should not have to chase down someone who committed to hire. Omar was defensive and blamed me for his lack of follow up and communication. The best thing was they did not ask for money up front so we didn't lose anything except time. They were supposed to be here at 8 am and didn't even call to they would be late until 845 (after we called twice and got no answer). They said they would arrive at 10 and again were not there. We called and got no answer again. Finally at 11 they called to say they would be there at 1145 and surprisingly showed up at 1145.
