We had two gentleman ( both named Sean/Shawn ) who came as scheduled and very efficiently removed heavy items and an array of junk in 1 1/2 hours. They were both very professional and super friendly. I would highly recommend them and utilize their services again. They made sure nothing was damaged while removing the items and there were no surprise charges or anything like that. Rarely do I write reviews on businesses but in this case I feel one needs to be written. Having hired movers many times never have I encountered a company to cancel with such short notice. Apparently this location is under new ownership. We booked more than a month out and had someone call and text to confirm 2 or 3 times only to have them cancel the day before our move. We ended up having a very challenging move as a result and had to scramble for movers and pay double. If you want to have a reliable moving company I would look elsewhere. As an update the owner canceled his $200 consolation payment due to this bad review. We were out more than $1500 due to the company and their late cancellation. read more

if I could give a minus I would! the scratched dented and broke my furnishings... the 2 pp sent to do the job could not do the job! the owner called 13 times with a seriously bad attitude yes I was upset the were ruining my belongings... Unreliable and Unprofessional. We booked Grunts Move Junk and Moving for our move over a month in advance on a referral from a friend. We confirmed via phone both two weeks and one week out and then also received a confirmation text 48 hours before our scheduled move. On Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours before movers were scheduled to arrive , we received a call from the office manager informing us that they could not staff our move. We were left scrambling to find movers to come the next day! We struggled to find movers and ended up having to pay DOUBLE just to have someone show up. Grunts Move Junk made the already awful process of moving even worse. Don't book them if you want someone to actually show up. I shudder to think what would have happened if we booked them for a Sept 1 move. read more

Grunts. Moving and Removal came highly recommended. The team was fantastic. They were able to get me scheduled quickly because it was a small move. I got reminder emails prior to the day and I was able to to confirm my appointment. They arrived on time, walked through and double checked instructions. They were careful, efficient and quick. They went above and beyond helping me situate my belongings and taking things in and out of my car. And at the new site had me unloaded and in my new spot quickly Absolutely would use again. read more

They have got to be the best movers in town they were friendly professional and courteous. I almost wish I could move again just so I could use them again. The three gentleman that move to me were honest. They made my move quick and painless. I highly recommend them if you need to move. I really don't like giving less than 5 stars because I know how hard people have to work to make businesses successful, especially in a COVID affected time. My boyfriend and I were both moving (from separate residences into one) and on a referral from someone I trusted, booked Grunts. We booked under the prior ownership; apparently there was a sale just before our moves. My move went smoothly - I had both a (fairly simple) move and junk removal and was pleased with both. The prices were also very reasonable and I really thought highly of my crew leader, Al. My boyfriend's move was a mess from the start. First the team was dispatched a day early and called to let us know they were coming when the move was confirmed for the following day. That was fixed - and a crew arrived the next day. They worked hard and were friendly. But, as can happen, there was some damage to furniture, including a broken coffee table and a damaged wooden bed frame. We were told by the onsite leader to send information and details and someone would reach out to us. Multiple emails have been sent, and we have both tried calling - to no avail. We weren't angry - things happen - but the customer service since taking credit card payment on site is abysmal. We can't get a response - from anyone - on any remedy there may be. It's been three weeks. I would recommend them for junk removal, but would hire different movers next time. read more

These guys are awesome. Reasonably priced too for everything they hauled away. Guys showed up early, took everything (old broken freezer, old generator, old snowblower, etc.), were quick, polite and extremely efficient. I am so grateful I found these guys!! Grunts Move Junk came recommended by a friend. We had about 2 inches of water in our basement - after draining, etc, we had a lot of ruined things left behind. I called monday, they came by Wednesday. Cleaned out the basement above and beyond what I had expected. Super polite and quick! Grunts Move Junk did an amazing job on our overgrown shrubs and bushes. They had not been trimmed for years and Joe and his crew gave them a beautiful shape leaving them looking better than they had when we moved in over 12 years ago. They did such a wonderful job that I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and will be using them again in the future. I hired the Grunts to empty a bagster full of construction debris for me, and also to haul away some scrap metal, some radiators, and a cast iron wood stove. I didn't figure it was all that much, but when you keep a pile of trash in the garage for a while, you forget how big it actually is--and they ended up completely filling the truck. They gave me a great price even in spite of my serious underestimation, and WOW ARE THESE GUYS FAST. Fast, clean, polite--I hate to over-use terms like "military precision", but these guys tackled every job quickly, neatly, and efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, and I'm already planning to call them for bigger jobs if I need them. They even swept each area when they were finished. They were also far, far less expensive than any other service I called. They have a long list of jobs they can do--junk removal, landscaping, you name it--check their website, and call them up, it's always worth at least getting an estimate, and I promise you that you won't be sorry you did. read more

You couldn't ask for nicer guys! They're pleasant, careful and very reasonably priced. Much cheaper than the 1 800 guys. And they donate what they can, and you get the tax credit! I highly recommend them. read more
