I visited other storage facilities and Security systems at Littleton Stirage are above and beyond anything I had seen, not to mention the location is across the street from Littleton PD. Regardless of the time of night, the outside cameras, lighting and strict building access made me feel safe. Cleanliness: immaculate. My personal standards regarding cleanliness were born from shipboard life in the Navy and a 30 year career as a Registered Nurse in medical facilities. Littleton Storage sets the industry standard. At no point did I ever see any signs of rodent or insect infestation. Final point and this was important to me. My need to move came about unexpectedly and I was in a very fragile emotional state. Lisa and Peter, who are almost always there during business hours were very kind and patient with me at all times. I will miss them both.

Recently came back from a long trip and the last thing on earth we wanted to do was the 6 loads of laundry we left behind or the ultra dirty clothes still in our luggage. I printed up the groupon for 40 lbs of laundry for $20. Heaved my laundry into my car and headed down. They open at 7am so it was really perfect before work to get those clothes off my mind. Weighed in at the intake and a nice woman said she'd call me when they were done. I was new so I left my phone # and address on a sticky note at the counter. The whole day passed and I never got a phone call. Late in the day before I left work, I figured I'd give them a shout. A different girl answered and confirmed my clothes were done. No call. but hey they are done! I got there and they had already put my clean clothes in a laundry carrier to make it a litle easier to get outside to my car. Because I had gone over the 40 lbs ( yeah tons of clothes it was embarrassing almost) Easy checkout, processed the groupon without any issue and they have a tablet POS system so you can sign with your finger and get an email receipt! Seriously,…read moreif you have ever dealt with self moving and reserving a truck with most U-hauls, I am sure you have experienced the run around, truck doesn't show up or you have to go to another location to get it or the CSR just plugs in a random location. Well, I will never use another UHaul but the one in Clinton. Chris the manager is fantastic and went above and way beyond to fix reservations and returns even though it was not his problem. I hope uHaul realizes his impact on the brand and reputation of the company. He was polite, responsive and solution driven. Clinton UHaul sets the bar high for the rest of the company thanks to Chris!

There is no fencing, however protecting the area if that's a concern. But it's pretty remote in general. You be issued a passcode for the gate once you register. First month half price. There are 4 sections: A, B, C, D. They're only marked at each the door, however A will be to the far left and D the closest as you arrive through the gate. The only issue I had was they require insurance. Even though I sent in my insurance documents, they still charge me. They did reverse it however I'm guessing they don't think you'll notice.

The building itself is not ridiculously large, but yet each unit (I think there's about 75) is a reasonably large space. There are a few carts available inside near the entrance. The parking lot in front is a wee bit small - it might be cramped if more than about 3 customers are there at the same time.
