Extremely Confusing, Stressful, and Unprofessional Experience Our interstate move with All Roads Express was one of the most stressful service experiences we have ever had, and we would not recommend this company based on what we went through. From the very beginning, the process was chaotic. On November 29, I spoke with Steve, who was initially very pleasant. He stated that All Roads Express was a family-owned company, not a broker, operated its own trucks, and had been in business for over 17 years. Based on those statements and their strong Google rating, we decided to proceed. That same morning, we were sent seven different written estimates within roughly a two-hour window. Every single estimate had problems, missing items, incorrect descriptions, or incorrect sizes, even though we repeatedly provided a detailed and corrected item list. The constant stream of changing and inaccurate inventories made it extremely difficult to understand what we were actually being charged for and appeared designed to overwhelm and confuse the consumer. Steve later introduced Jojo, stating he was his son and the person in charge of the move. I sent Jojo a complete item list via SMS. Jojo confirmed by text that the total cost would be "$2400 even" and again stated they were not a broker. Despite this clear confirmation, the company continued sending more incorrect estimates. We were then sent an online agreement link to sign, but the agreement did not include any list of items at all. There was no way to verify the inventory or charges we were agreeing to. We mistakenly signed the agreement, and immediately afterward, yet another incorrect estimate was sent. At no point did we receive an accurate, final, itemized written estimate that matched the list we provided. On move day, two movers arrived wearing All Roads Express shirts, but once again they had an incorrect inventory list. I spent hours on the phone with their office, providing screenshots of text confirmations and prior communications. These were largely dismissed. When I referenced the text messages confirming the price, the conversation went nowhere. We were then told our shipment exceeded the estimate by a large amount of cubic footage and that the price would increase. My husband independently inventoried the items and calculated a much lower volume, and most of the items they claimed were "extra" had already been disclosed. Despite this, we were told we had no choice if we wanted our belongings moved. Payment issues added another layer of stress. We were allowed to pay by credit card at pickup, then told a few hours later that the payment had been voided and we had to pay via Zelle. During transit, we were told payment would need to be cash or money order, then later told Zelle was acceptable again. At delivery, we paid via a QR code, only to later discover that the payment went to a different company entirely, which was alarming given repeated claims that All Roads Express was not a broker. Delivery timing was also changed at the last minute. We were initially told delivery would occur within a multi-day window, then suddenly received a call saying delivery would happen the same day with less than three hours' notice, forcing us to scramble to arrange someone to receive our items. After delivery, we found that multiple boxes were damaged or destroyed, including boxes clearly labeled Fragile. When we disputed the charges due to the many inconsistencies, damage, and payment confusion, we were met with threats of legal action, credit reporting, and storage fees. Overall, this experience involved repeated incorrect documentation, shifting prices, inconsistent payment demands, last-minute delivery changes, and significant stress. Horrible service. Many items damaged and many items were missing. No help after that. The charges for a full pack and move were double anyone else. Once they get your money you cannot make any changes. The movers worked less that 6 hours each day and would not pack some things. You do the inventory over the phone. When delivered they give you the boxes they have numbered and check them off a list. They unpack nothing and when you unpack they use the list to say you OKed everything. From the moment Mark picked up the phone, I knew that I was going to be in great hands. I needed to have my furnishings moved from a friend's house to storage but couldn't be there due to COVID. Mark researched storage facilities for me and sent a team of 3 guys who were very conscientious about my budget and were extremely careful but efficient packing everything up. I had found from an earlier move that some smaller movers won't take credit cards because payments can be cancelled or argued. When my Items were delivered to me the boxes were falling apart and things were falling out. They delivered several boxes to me that didn't belong to me. My boxes had been gone through and repacked. My things had literally been thrown in the boxes causing numerous items to be broken and damaged. Items were missing, it took almost two months before my things were recovered. If you value your belongings, I repeat Don't use All Roads Express. This moving company is horrible, they were a nightmare. How they are still in business is a mystery? After speaking to at least 3 other movers we found All Roads Express through BBB with great results. Mark walked us through the whole move as this is our first move in 22 years. He quoted a price instead of the price per hour with all the add one that the other big 3 do and we agreed. Alex and his crew of 2 helpers are his team that were incredible. They were wrapping and covering our furniture and tv quickly and took no breaks. We made them lunch but they waited till they were done before eating it. Very professional and nice guys. They cleaned up after themselves and 5 stars do no justice. Please call them as they are great and fast. If you can ask for Alex he was the best. read more

I decided to move with this company because I had a family member that used this service. The people who came to pick up my items said that they will disassemble and reassemble all parts. I offered to give them a bag for the screws the had to take apart and they said they won't need it. As well they didn't pick up everything that was listed on their paper work. The people picking up my stuff were very unprofessional and charged me and extra $100 saying that they had to walk more than 75 feet which I measured after they left and it was shorter distance. The people who set up my stuff were great but there were pieces that were there to hold my desk together. They also broke my wood nightstand to a point where the had the wood rip through the screws which made it unfixabke. Also when I was told about the damage they covered and how it was covered was explained one way and they said something totally different when I made a claim. After all the frustration that a move entails they just make the move way more difficult. I would actively avoid and tell anyone who is moving to actively avoid this company. read more

Man oh man, where do l start? I chose this company for the most part based on the positive reviews. It just goes to show everyone has different experiences. I'll start with the driver arriving with a broken down truck and spent a good hour on the phone with the trucking company trying to get them to bring another truck. I'll end with chipped and broken furniture. I would not recommend this company nor ever use them again. If I could give them a -5 I would. Update: I was going to return owner's call, but after reading his response to my review, this will be my last post about my experience. My bedroom furniture was new to my old place, meaning, it came new from the furniture company and was put together in my place last summer. When the movers took it apart, they did not take the time to review how to put it back together. My daughter saw loose screws in my new bedroom and told them they must not have put a piece of furniture together correctly and they also did not put a leg under the dresser correctly. They balked at that. Later we found the pieces & loose screws in a drawer. They also did not unwrap one piece of furniture (no big deal, of course). However, there is a rather large nick in my TV console. Second to last, my daughter and I had to listen to the "chief" mover scold his son the entire time because the young man was not doing it HIS way. Quite nerve wracking to say the least. Lastly, to the owner, whether I leave a review a week later or 6 months later is no issue so not sure why you brought that up other than to make me look like I'm making ish up. Can there be zero star ratings when reviewing service companies? We've been incredibly busy getting settled into our new home, (we moved cross country from Fl to NM) but we feel strongly that we share our horrific experience with All Roads and their employees. And I will make it a point to post this review on any and all relevant sites to inform potential customers and warn them. Let me first state that my husband and I have moved a total of 5 times working with professional moving companies 4 out of those 5 times-with no problems at all. All Roads was hands down the most unprofessional moving company and service provider for that matter we have ever encountered. They showed complete disregard/disrespect for our home, our valuables, furniture, antique furniture, clothing, and the actual house they were moving items out of (which the new owners were taking possession of just 2 days later following a walk through.) Needless to say they were not happy at all because of serious damage done to the staircase as 14 steps had chunks of wood taken out because of the carelessness by the "supervisor" or "foreman" Alex who decided it was okay to roll and slide an antique wood with metal accents down the stairs without help or checking to make sure it was fully wrapped. After a few stressful days the problem was fixed and paid for- but not before the new owners did their walk through and viewed the damage. Needless to say they were furious & held back $10,000 in escrow until they could inspect and agree to the fix. If it could have gotten any worse and incredibly stressful, we received our delivery in NM we were shocked and disgusted as furniture wrapped haphazardly & boxes were torn, smashed, etc. The poor souls that unloaded the truck as well as the driver of the leased trucking company were actually angry with what they were seeing. As the guys were unloading each piece of furniture, artwork, antique custom furniture, and boxes they continued to comment on how incredibly atrocious the packing and wrapping was- substandard at best- apologizing to us that we had to experience this. The driver of the leased truck asked us what company we used in Florida, and when we told him he stated something like "oh, we really don't like working with that company at all, and we've had bad experiences in the past. We have at least 60 photos of damages to artwork, antique wood furniture, & discontinued china/crystal. And let me state again that this was our 5th time moving and second time long distance- all of the items made it without a scratch or dent- the exact same items (some of them 10-15 years old) that All Roads damaged!! I mean a Tool box put on top of crystal glassware in a box that was already labeled 'FRAGILE-CRYSTAL GLASSWARE', lampshades crushed because of being thrown into large boxes along with random items, dress shirts, suits, dresses, etc. completely crushed from top to bottom in a wardrobe box because the guys decided to through everything and anything in the box that should never have been in there. I could keep going... rest assured this review and more like it will be on every site possible! By the way, the offer for damages $$ was seriously insulting. Pennies!! Great shipping experience all around! Found this company through BBB and called Mark Greenfield who was helpful and knowledgeable from beginning to end. He provided excellent follow up, and gave honest assessments of our project. We had some fragile (glass and acrylic) art items which needed custom crates, and they were very well done. The estimate wasn't the least and not the most, and I felt it was fair. Note that this is not a broker, so the company can stand behind pick up and delivery by their own people. This was important to me. Pick up went smoothly and timely by Alex and Ronnie who crated and boxed carefully. A note to clients - make sure to fully read the Bill of Lading for any exceptions to the condition of your articles. I was able to schedule within a reasonable time, and was able to pay my installments easily through their system, and the final installment was assisted by Tema. I didn't encounter any extra fees tacked on, and the whole process was quite predictable. I did hear from Nirva in Customer Service for reasonable/timely scheduling, and Hiram the driver gave me updates as he approached. He and Michael appeared as scheduled. They were very gracious, polite and helpful in placing my items, a couple of which are quite heavy, and went out of their way to try to work out a hiccup caused by a couple of pieces of glass that had fallen off our sculpture prior to shipping (sculpture is named Elvis by the way) If I ever need a mover/shipper again, I would work with this company again without hesitation. read more

All-Roads Express was exceptional to work with throughout the process. The move was from Cape Coral, FL to Peoria, IL and required storage for a period of time before delivery to Illinois. Mark, who was the primary contact was there with us throughout the process. Always available and extremely responsive to our many questions and concerns. The men who packed (Alex and Ted) were amazing. Quick and SO careful, thoroughly wrapping everything! The delivery was a little delayed, but worked out. As I was told, they never know what obstacles they will experience on the road with multiple deliveries in multiple states. Roy, I believe one of the owners, was in personal contact with me.
