This company is that company, the one that fills up the truck and then tries to change the price on you. It took them six hours to move me out of my two bedroom into the truck they quoted me a 3 hour job that was actually 8.Being that I wouldn't give them one extra cent the owner Sebastian. If he is the owner, instructed his movers to unload the truck and leave everything on the sidewalk. They never once mentioned anything about additional time until the truck was full The movers were great, but I had to go out and buy allen wrenches, so they could take apart my beds. Also, they sent two guys for a 3 man job and one of them was his second day. I just want to make a note that the two employees were amazing and embarrassed in the way the company was treating me . Never use Top Notch this company quotes 3 hours for every job Where was Hen S yesterday when Sebastian was having the truck emptied???? Hen s you charged $396 to move a patio wouldn't $550 for a 2 bedroom be off a little bit Hen S you sure apologize a lot on here???

If you want to work with a moving company who is with you every step of the way, then Top Notch is NOT for you. Our experience was so reprehensible that we are now dealing with an insurance company and a lawyer to explore next steps. The initial impression of the company was stellar. We had a 2-part move where items had to be picked up from our house and a storage unit in FL and then delivered to an apartment and storage unit in PA. We were organized in labeling our contents ("apartment" or "storage") and the packing team, under Tony's leadership, packed the Top Notch truck with great organization and a customer-focused attitude. The delivery was a nightmare. The first stop was to meet the movers at the storage unit. The driver arrived an hour late in a completely different, nasty truck that had been packed, with no lift/ramp and no helpers. We were never told that our move was going to be subcontracted or that our items had been transloaded because the truck broke down or that the driver would arrive alone. The subcontractor appears to have been Lodestone Logistics out of NY. When the driver realized he could not move our furniture and boxes on his own, he left to go pick up helpers from Home Depot. We were enraged to think all our possessions would now be handled by random guys who were not background checked and who were going to be paid under the table. After waiting another hour for the driver to return, we left. All along, there were many phone calls with Top Notch and the sub-contractor to deal with this disaster. While sitting in the car, we even sent an email to owner Hen Segal, who didn't reply for 5 days. In the end, we agreed to meet the driver the next day at 7 am. The next day, we received a text that the jalopy had broken down. When we called, the driver had no access to roadside assistance, so we drove to his hotel and helped the driver jumpstart the truck. Once that ordeal was over, the driver had to go pick up "contract" workers to help with the unloading. Another delay. When the driver finally arrived, we saw that all our meticulously labeled/organized goods were completely jumbled in this crappy truck, and nearly half of our stuff was water damaged because the roof had leaked. After a bunch of intense phone calls between Top Notch and the sub-contractor, it was required that we pay full price for the move or the driver was going to leave with our contentsàransom! Sebastian (an alleged part-owner of Top Notch) told us that after the move, we could discuss a refund. Sebastian verbally indicated that, based on the atrocious experience, they would end up not making any money on the job. We, under duress, agreed to pay the final balance even though we had no reason to believe the company would do anything that was in our best interest since they put us in a situation where Home Depot dudes would handle our life's possessions out of disgusting truck that leaked all over stuff. In the end, the move was completed, but not without tears and arguments. Knowing that the driver and helpers were caught in the misfire, we did still tip them for their hard work. We called the next day. Sebastian informed us they had to wait for the final paperwork before he could discuss the next steps. He also told us that we should take down the poor reviews we had posted to demonstrate that we want to cooperate with them. This felt like extortion, but we succumbed and took down the reviews. We called again in a few days, but Sebastian is not available. We left messages. We called and waited each day. And the next. Twic, we spoke to a customer service person who stated she would have refunded us half of our money to avoid bad reviews. We also spoke to Mar, who stated he would have Sebastian call us. In the end, Sebastian sent a cowardly email stating that "operations" felt they fulfilled their contract and offered us a mere 10% refund. On a $6200 move, that's an insulting $629. We did not accept this offer, and here we are. So many opportunities for Top Notch to demonstrate customer service, but they had zero professionalism to do so.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVER. PLEASE READ and BEWARE before talking to them. I did an extensive amount of research prior to deciding which movers to use and was continually disappointed along the way. This company damaged over $2000 of my furniture and then offered me a $99 claim settelement! Reasons NOT to hire them: -Francine (operations manager) is absolutely nasty. Any time you talk to her on the phone she has an attitude and acts inconvenienced. The fact that she is employed is surprising and concerning. -On departure they scammed me for an additional $200 in fees (moving equipment) even though I had purchased everything they told me to prior to the move. -They damaged over $2000 in furniture (pictures attached). They did not care at all or show any effort to remediate this. They offered me $99. a total joke. -Movers on arrival were reckless and scratched up my new floor.

New management Francine is an asset to Top Not h movers! PRICE FOR LONG DISTANCE MOVE: After reading the "great" reviews, I decided to proceed forward. The price for the 1 bedroom was feasible. I wrapped , labeled and boxed up everything myself with the exception of the furniture. PICKUP: I did a long distance move and after reading the "great" reviews, I decided to proceed forward. The movers came smelling like weed and proceeded to wrap up my furniture. I took pictures of my furniture before pick up and upon delivery. DELIVERY PUNCTUATION: I was told I'd get a 48 hrs notice before delivery and that didn't happen, they called the day of and I had to deny the delivery and reschedule for a different day. (Beware as they will charge you for rescheduling, they didn't for me because I argued the 48 hr notice) the reschedule date they were hours late, DELIVERY QUALITY: With the labeled boxes saying "living room" , "bedroom" etc. , they just tossed everything in one room. They also did not put the legs on the sofa which I had to do myself. Upon delivery My sofa and accent chair came with what appeared to be a yellow liquid stain, I thought it was urine. A box was also open with missing items. The missing items were inexpensive so it didn't bother me too much but still. POST DELIVERY: When I called, Charlie (old management who is no longer there) said for me to file a claim. Francine (new management) called me and her customer service was amazing. She apologized and make things right. WOULD I RECOMMEND: yes

they broke an antique marble dresser top and lost an irreplaceable antique side table. I'm just sick about the whole experience.

Top Notch Movers moved my furniture locally and I highly recommend them. The three guys were so professional and friendly. They made the experience very positive. I thought the pricing was very fair and probably less than most companies.

Everything was delivered (or so I originally thought), and it was a bargain, but the experience was not top notch at all, and in the future I'd just pay more to avoid being treated poorly as if I were just some deadbeat customer looking to get one over on them. The transit took longer than expected (within contract allowance, but much more than the sales person's estimate of likely delivery time). Unsurprisingly, the cost was higher than estimated at pickup and delivery. During delivery, the goods were held and delivery was contingent upon agreeing to higher costs than estimated (that's a nicer way to say it than it felt...) The company threatened to leave with the goods undelivered and charge re-delivery fees and storage if we didn't comply. The office person and coordinator treated me rudely and dismissively. Overall, very underwhelming, and at times disturbing. Update 8/7/2020 After a full review of all received items during this move, there were many damages to items, the delivery address itself sustained damages from the movers, and there were many completely missing items and boxes. Considering this as well as all interactions with the company, including office and moving staff, it was a solid one star experience.

Absolutely awful moving company. Terrible communication. Ripped our brand new coach in the process and did not deliver the right items. Items missing and items received that did not belong to us. This company was not good to work with at all and also expensive.

Dinged up furniture and a threatened law suit.  Have fun hiring Top Notch Movers!

This location can be a bit sketchy because of all of the homeless in the area. Unfortunately, there…read morehave been several times I've come to the storage and there have been homeless people sleeping right outside the door to get into the building. That doesn't feel safe at all. Or people just hang out outside the building. As far as customer service goes that is usually pretty good. I appreciate that the workers are always kind and they actually remember your name. They're very knowledgeable and can answer all of the questions that you have. As for cleanliness, it could be better. I do believe some of the tenants leave stuff on the floor and just don't clean up after themselves. I've come in and noticed trash or other particles or crumbs throughout the hallway. When I come back four or five days later and those same particles are still on the floor I know the staff have not cleaned so the place doesn't get cleaned as often as it should. It definitely doesn't get cleaned daily. And I have spotted several roaches in the restroom unfortunately. Aside from the negatives, I will say the inside is nice for air conditioned storage. I prefer to have my things in air-conditioned spaces opposed to the heat of Florida weather. I think this is a good short term facility for your storage needs. I would not recommend for long-term based on all I've seen. I would love to update this review if they can manage the building a bit better as far as cleanliness and perhaps do something about the overwhelming amount of people hanging out and sleeping outside of the building. This doesn't make me feel safe as someone doing business with Prime Storage.
