Well, I never got my money back. They even ran my card during the return process. I called my bank and they said the refunds were not issued. Then I called the store and the manager said to keep waiting it can take over 10 business days!! That's absolutely ridiculous. I will never shop here again. Update: I did finally get my money back. Part was said to be in stock in one day two days later no updates. Staff have no clue what's going on and can't answer any questions cause they don't know the answer and nor do the managers on duty. Went to the store and called the store today because of lack of communication from both STIHL and Ace Hardware. This is not my preferred dealer for parts for this brand and I would not have ordered had stihl not forced me to to find the product I wanted. Sterling May is a much better stihl dealer but is not an option for online delivery for this item a simple weed eater deflector kit. Would never buy anything power equipment related from this store ever again the lack of customer service is astounding. I used to stock shelves as a second job for OSH at this same location and service was much much better though we weren't a stihl dealer. But Ace shouldn't be either I know more about their power equipment than their salesman that was trying to sell me stuff while I looked at trimmer line which is also lack luster. I'll stick to sterling may at least they deliver on or before the delivery time I just have to go in to the store unfortunately.

They sometimes have varieties that aren't in the big box stores. Today was no exception. I selected some rare succulents and proceeded to the outdoor checkstand to pay. That is where things went downhill. This usually open checkstand had a note stating it was closed and to pay inside. So back inside I went. After a short wait I approached the check stand and after the young man rang my purchases he handed me the receipt. I said well I need to pay you. And as I unzipped my RFID-shielded wallet to obtain my debit card the young male cashier said, "oh it already took your payment" (and he pointed to the "tap here" feature on the credit/debit card machine on the counter). I was flabbergasted! So after looking at the receipt I saw that the machine had charged a credit card that was located several cards deep inside my wallet in my crossbody bag that I was wearing at the time. I asked him to refund that and place the items on a debit card instead. Wow. After a brief discussion, both he and his "Lead" admitted that machine is super sensitive so my recommendations are to the consumer be careful when shopping here, and to ACE replace the machine or post a warning to customers. Lastly, the attitude of the Lead was a bit condescending - loud, and restating the obvious. And the cashier was aloof - detached and not listening.

Now they are throughout the store instead of in end caps. Service varies - mostly good experiences but you do get the occasional person who doesn't know much about the products they carry. Much is sold at a good value, and can easily be compared by a quick online search. I go to Home Depot for lumber, plumbing, tools, pool chemicals and garden supplies. Also purchased a washer and dryer, stove, and microwave last Black Friday and had a great experience. I'm sure you already know about Home Depot - this is a good store in a decent area.

They are very help and owners care! They're recommendations are accurate. Without them I'd be up a creek. They have saved me from hiring a pool company. When I need a pool part they typically have it in stock. The prices are not necessarily a bargain. However if we don't shop here they'll go away. Have to shop local. Amazon doesn't do water analysis and doesn't tell you if you have too much metal in water.

Jeff Pecka, the owner, communicated with us by text and email to keep us informed of their progress in a timely manner. The process was seamless and painless and they got the job done within a week of the HOA approval. I especially like the front door that his dad painted (it's a family affair) because I used harsh cleaning chemicals on it in error during COVID. It looks better than when we moved in as the original owners. Thank you, Jeff! Even my dog likes them. They are dog people. He also took that ugly TV Dish thing to the dump for me.
