Went here for shoulder issues I was having. They ordered me an MRI. I got my MRI done. They said my…read moreshoulder looked great. I told the nurse practitioner I knew something was wrong with my shoulder, because I was in immense amounts of pain. The "doctor" told me go to physical therapy. My physical therapist told me I have severe muscle atrophy and they can't help. Gave up on access so I went to mercy. Finally after 8 miserable months I have a surgery scheduled for April 9th. FUCK you access medical. I'm spending too much money now cause of your pudgy little fart doctors.

I've had the unfortunate experience to have to go to this Access twice and each time was worse than…read morethe next. Both visits start with the administration/check-in who never look up to acknowledge your presence as they snap a clipboard of paperwork and tell you to fill it out... not a "Hi", "Hello", "Welcome to Access Medical..." nada. Once filled out, the top of the admins head will tell you to have a seat and they'll call you. The first visit was in the early evening (6-ish) to remove a blockage in my ear. I was the only person in the waiting room - I was also the only car in the parking lot. After 45-MINUTES, I was summoned back and waited an additional 10-minutes before the doctor walked in and said 'which ear?'... not a "Hi, my name is Dr. Ear Flusher"... nada. He then looked in my ear, walked out, and came back with a flushing bottle, pumped warm water through my ear and it was dislodged 30-seconds later. The best part was this warm visit cost me $75. The second visit a flu visit and was a copy of the first. And lucky me, I drew the same doctor. He was just as pleasant as my first visit, and basically acted like I disturbed his lunch. So I've spent $150 for 74-seconds of treatment which includes dialogue. I apologize that our illnesses are forcing you to use your medical license for 32-seconds of the day, but I can assure you it's going to a good cause.

Very amazed by the entitlement of one of the employees here. Never did catch her name. My boyfriend…read morewas feeling very ill. He doesn't get home until 7:00pm and most urgent cares close at 8:00pm. So we immediately went to the nearest one, which was this location, and arrived roughly at 7:10pm. As soon as we walk in, who I am assuming is the receptionist, is standing in the lobby and whips around and looks completely confused as to why we are there. I then asked if they were still open, and she goes to say "well yeah, until 7:30, have we seen you before?" I go "well if it's too late we can go somewhere else, but no you haven't seen us before" she goes on to walk into the back behind the counter obviously annoyed and slamming the door behind her. I then brought up once again if we need to go somewhere else we would. She then goes "well it's just like, I have an hour drive home" as if that is supposed to be my problem? If you cannot have any sympathy for someone who is not feeling well, don't work in healthcare. We happily went somewhere else, and they have taken great care of my boyfriend. I will never come back here. So sad to see how many bad apples are in the healthcare field nowadays.....

When speaking to the secretary she stated that a bill had been sent each month for the past 6 months and I had been contacted by phone as well. It's hard to believe that 6 or 7 bills were lost in the mail when they had the correct address on file and that my voicemail never captured any messages from them. If honesty in billing is important to you then take your business elsewhere.

Will never go to any other urgent care but this one!…read more My wife was super sick and we walked in about 10 minutes before they closed on a Saturday night. I was fully expecting attitude or even to be turned away since they were about to close. I was totally wrong! The receptionist was so incredibly welcoming and empathetic towards my wife while I filled out paper work. She quickly proceeded the paperwork and insurance and got my wife back to see the doctor. My wife loved the doctor and felt that she really cared for her. I live close to this location but I would even drive out of my way to visit this location again.

Do not go there if you have an appointment!…read more I scheduled an appointment with them well enough in advance by one week. I checked and arrived on time; another customer came after me with her appointment 30 minutes after mine. I waited one hour to even be seen and the appointment that was scheduled after mine was admitted and checked in before I was. I don't understand what type of process they run at this location but it is not effective. Being a healthcare professional and understanding my patient rights and responsibilities, this location has poor customer service. The receptionist is very rude and dismissive more especially to people of color. I would highly recommend this location complete evaluation as of their staff and the type of treatment customers are receiving to still be employed.

Up until now it was very good. However, our neighbors had told us as of recent your location was worthless. I am 73, my wife is 83. Spring and fall we have respiratory illnesses. She had bronchitis and laryngitis for three days. She still has it. I had a severe sinus infection and excessive coughing for four days. The "so called doctor on staff," did not introduce himself, but my prescription bottle says Dr. J. Manning. He did not touch my wife, stethoscope or anything. She knows her body and knows what our regular Mercy doctor prescribes, he would do nothing. He told her to take NyQuil. Good advice for someone who has diabetes and high blood pressure. He prescribed benzonatate for me. It hasn't helped the coughing. I had to ask him for something for my cough as he was offering no help, opinion, or advice. You charged us $65 a piece, and didn't even touch my wife or offer a medicine. Please refund our $130 based on total lack of care, professional, concern, nor diagnosis. He did read his mercy computer screen from his chair. We have been patients of Mercy for over 30 years and I have always given stellar ratings. But Dr Manning needs to go or be sent to your worst competitor. Carl Tiemann

Immediate Care - Edmond: A Terrible Experience from Start to Finish…read moreI went in for a simple blood draw, something that should take ten minutes or less. What I experienced instead was a display of inexperience, confusion, and blatant lack of supervision. The staffer assigned to me was visibly nervous from the start. She left the room multiple times -- first because she forgot something, then again after failing to get the blood from my right arm. When she returned with another staff member, things somehow got even worse. He appeared just as unsure and uncomfortable with the procedure as she did. They prodded, hesitated, and whispered like this was some advanced operation instead of Basic Phlebotomy 101. After two failed attempts--one in each arm--and no successful draw, the male staffer finally said, "Do you want me to write you an order for a DLO?" I agreed, expecting at least prompt follow‑through. But instead, both of them left the room, and fifteen minutes later, I was still sitting there bleeding and waiting, with no update, no apology, and no sense of accountability. Eventually, I walked out--angry, frustrated, and honestly concerned for anyone else trusting this place with their care. This was pure inefficiency and a failure of training from the top down. A supervisor was nowhere to be found. And hearing the staffer mention she wanted to become a physician was almost alarming--because if you can't perform a basic blood draw, what business do you have practicing medicine? Immediate Care - Edmond needs serious retraining, oversight, and management attention. Patients deserve professionalism, not a chaotic guessing game with needles.
