I was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and requested testing for RSV and Covid and it took 2.5 hours from being given a room to being discharged to be told I have Covid. I was told after they swabbed me for a respiratory panel that I was going to be allowed to leave since results take 1.5 hours and they call with results. I then proceeded to wait the ENTIRE time being told I was waiting on discharge paperwork just for the doctor to come in and say " I don't know why they decided to keep you here but there's only 10 min left on the test so we'll just wait it out." I then waited an additional 30 min for those results and another 15 or so before I was actually discharged. Overall, the check in process was exceptionally fast, but everything after that was not. Also seems to be communication troubles seeing as the doctor didn't know why I had been sitting waiting for an hour plus. I'll do my best to find other urgent care availability next time. ** as an insured customer, they billed my insurance for a total of $8,800 for this COVID test and longer than necessary stay.

He did not touch my wife, stethoscope or anything. She knows her body and knows what our regular Mercy doctor prescribes, he would do nothing. He told her to take NyQuil. Good advice for someone who has diabetes and high blood pressure. He prescribed benzonatate for me. It hasn't helped the coughing. I had to ask him for something for my cough as he was offering no help, opinion, or advice. You charged us $65 a piece, and didn't even touch my wife or offer a medicine. Please refund our $130 based on total lack of care, professional, concern, nor diagnosis. He did read his mercy computer screen from his chair. What I experienced instead was a display of inexperience, confusion, and blatant lack of supervision. The staffer assigned to me was visibly nervous from the start. She left the room multiple times -- first because she forgot something, then again after failing to get the blood from my right arm. When she returned with another staff member, things somehow got even worse. He appeared just as unsure and uncomfortable with the procedure as she did. They prodded, hesitated, and whispered like this was some advanced operation instead of Basic Phlebotomy 101. After two failed attempts--one in each arm--and no successful draw, the male staffer finally said, "Do you want me to write you an order for a DLO?" I agreed, expecting at least prompt follow‑through. But instead, both of them left the room, and fifteen minutes later, I was still sitting there bleeding and waiting, with no update, no apology, and no sense of accountability. Eventually, I walked out--angry, frustrated, and honestly concerned for anyone else trusting this place with their care. This was pure inefficiency and a failure of training from the top down. A supervisor was nowhere to be found. After I get home I received a phone call with them saying i owed them 80 dollars for the visit. called their billing/customer service and was hung up on multiple times and interrupted more then i could count. i asked to speak to another rep and was told their was none asked to speak to a manager and was told I am the manager. i would recommend going anyplace other then this and if you have any problems contact The Consumer Protection Unit. nice staff in the place just poorly trained apparently.
