If I could rate a 0 I would. I came in with chest pains, upper back pains and abdominal pain. The doctor refused to help me and give me anything for pain. Instead he asked me to "knock off my crying" He proceeded to then accused of me smoking weed exact words "does this always happen when you smoke weed" Surprise surprise my blood work came back negative for ANY drugs! I ripped my IV out and had to drive to OU to get assistance. (On the way out was told the cops would be called if I didn't show them my IV was out) The doctor looks like the monopoly man. I visited this location when all other urgent cares were closed for the night as I had just flown home and couldn't have made it in any earlier. I was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and requested testing for RSV and Covid and it took 2.5 hours from being given a room to being discharged to be told I have Covid. I was told after they swabbed me for a respiratory panel that I was going to be allowed to leave since results take 1.5 hours and they call with results. I then proceeded to wait the ENTIRE time being told I was waiting on discharge paperwork just for the doctor to come in and say " I don't know why they decided to keep you here but there's only 10 min left on the test so we'll just wait it out." I then waited an additional 30 min for those results and another 15 or so before I was actually discharged. Overall, the check in process was exceptionally fast, but everything after that was not. Also seems to be communication troubles seeing as the doctor didn't know why I had been sitting waiting for an hour plus. I'll do my best to find other urgent care availability next time. ** as an insured customer, they billed my insurance for a total of $8,800 for this COVID test and longer than necessary stay. read more

This place is the worst. I only went to the emergency room after a virtual visit where the Dr. said to go in case the symptoms I experienced were neurological. I was billed afterward and set up a payment plan that stated it was no interest, but despite making payments continued to get a statement showing an amount past due. There is no information on their portal clearly stating why anything is past due or about the payment plan. I also received a vague email notification 4 months after the visit stating my balance has changed but can find no info about a balance change. Terrible experience overall. read more

Oklahoma ER & hospital was one of the most professional, clean, and efficient facilities I have been to. They took me back before I even completed my paperwork, and I was seen quickly by a provider. They made sure to listen to my concerns and address it with appropriate testing. I would recommend this ER For anyone in the Okc area looking for good care. I was referred here after a general walk-in clinic thought that they would be able to provide me a better care. The intake nurse was wonderful. However, when it became time to see the nurse care practitioner, things took a turn. I was very worried about the pain I was experiencing and wasn't even going to search out care because of the cost of the $300 copay. However, I knew that I needed to see someone as it was coming up on a weekend. There was only one other patient in the clinic at the time and the overall experience had me waiting about 2 hours. That was not a concern but was more concerning. Was the nurse care practitioner knowing that I needed an examination after making me wait for an hour? Came back and asked me if I wanted to be excited. She handed me a swab and sent me off to the lady's room to take care of it myself. I was in shock that I essentially was given a self-service option. I felt very dismissed, and was treated like I was a hypochondriac. At one point I was so upset about the situation. I sent my partner out to advise them that I was leaving and I would seek out care elsewhere. The nurse came in and essentially said we can still do the exam if you want. It's up to you. I just assumed you didn't want an exam she said. And at no point did I ever say that. She just looked at me with a blank stare like I was a lunatic. So I asked her to proceed with the exam because I came there to get answers. It was a very emotional and disappointing experience. Fast forward 4 days. I heard nothing about my test results. When I called in the receptionist said answered the phone said you're not supposed to call us. We are supposed to call you with results. Which really took me aback. I had just assumed after 4 days they would have had something. When I communicated that I was going to follow up with my regular doctor and asked if she would have access to these records. The receptionist told me that I could come back to pick up my test results. She also communicated that there was still appending result. Well now it's been a week later and I've never received a call, but I am pretty confident I will receive the $300 bill. All in all, I think that when you were a healthcare provider you have to remember that sometimes people come in. Afraid not everyone handles things the same way. You have a responsibility to your patience. The nurse care practitioner that took care of me made me feel like I was a burden and as though I wasn't worth treating. So just be mindful if you choose this clinic that you might not get the care and compassion you're looking for. And you might possibly have to be your own advocate. I most definitely wouldn't recommend. It was a very disheartening experience all the way around. read more

Based on my personal experience and direct observations, I believe that Oklahoma ER and Hospital presents serious patient-safety concerns. The conditions I encountered were alarming enough that I felt compelled to warn others. I do not make this statement lightly. My experience left me with a profound sense that this facility is poorly managed, disorganized, and unsafe, and that patients may be placed at risk as a result. In my opinion, the environment appeared chaotic and unprofessional in ways that I believe fall well below what any patient should reasonably expect from an emergency medical facility. I left with the clear impression that these conditions could lead to serious harm if left unaddressed. I strongly urge anyone considering treatment here to seek care elsewhere if at all possible. Based on what I personally experienced, I would not entrust my own health--or that of a loved one--to this facility. Because of the severity of my concerns, I intend to file a formal complaint with the State of Oklahoma and request that this facility be formally reviewed and investigated. I believe this is necessary in the interest of patient safety. read more

Took them 2 and a half hours to get us into a room. All tests came back negative and we have had past experiences similar to this. My vitals were taken at around 4 and they sent us back to the lobby after I had a temperature? Not sure but feel like that isn't the best thing to do especially when they could've tested us and not send us back to the crowded lobby. After all that I was tested for Covid and flu. Not strep, we went to a different medical center and I tested positive for strep. Shocker waste of 4 hours and for some reason they did not test for all symptoms. Anyways I would not recommend to anyone and stay clear from this place. read more

Update: received a bill 1.5 years later saying we owe over $400. There is another bill that we never saw that shows an $800 credit. Called to ask about this and they said there was a note on the file that the claim had been reprocessed. It seems like this place had a business model of rigging the insurance/billing system to delay charges/claims and then send massive bills to patients. Will be looking into legal remedies. read more

Doc was rude. He seemed annoyed that I woke him up with my medical issue. Pain in my head was a 10/10. Thought I could've had meningitis because my head and neck stiffness was like that for 12 hours straight with no relief. He threw a Norco 5mg at me and wanted me out the door. Doc didn't care about getting my pain down. Seemed like he just wanted to go back to bed. Paid 1k for a Norco and a script for Tamiflu. Other staff were great. Won't be going back. read more

This place is a farce and unethical, I was asked to go here by my employer who thought I had pneumonia, I did not have insurance and advised them of this, they advised that the cost was of course variable depending on what the Dr thought, I had an xray, an albuterol nebulizer Tx , EKG and antibiotics for home, Dx with RSV. Asked if I could come back after the weekend because employer was concerned with being contagious, was told no because they were an ER and it would be a totally different charge and visit, they have charged me over 1300 dollars for this service, I was seen at St Anthonys is Shawnee for pretty much same symptoms and charge 250.00 read more

I was recently discharged from the hospital after a week stay and I could never possibly recognize the staff enough for the level of care I received. I have never witnessed such effort like this and bed side manner as the team that took care of me. Prices were outrageous! I went to go get checked for flu and Covid and it was $725 total. Never going back. Had me sit in the patient room for 1 and a half hours for a Covid/flu test. Should've just went to Walmart for a test and those take less than 5 minutes to get a result. Test came back negative for both $725 for no reason. People are nice but prices aren't. read more

Staff is professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Building still feels new and is beautiful! Well lit, with a clean, modern design. And of course the facilities are kept sparking clean. Rooms are large and private. If you are unlucky enough to need an ER visit, here they will see you super fast. In mere minutes! While other hospital ERs in the metro can take literally HOURS. Rest assured, OKER has a lot of the equipment the big boys have...X ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, even pharmacy and onsite lab. They call themselves "micro" so it's only overnight observation, no longterm stays. Keep in mind, they do not accept Medicare. But they do offer free flu shots...And snacks. Winning! ;) read more

I came here thinking it was an urgent care. Thankfully I needed to be admitted for rhabdomyolysis though and realized it was an actual hospital. Zero wait time. I hadn't even finished my paperwork before they had me back in a room getting urine and blood samples and hooking me up to an IV. Plus you get to order whatever you want from UberEats for meals instead of hospital food. So that's awesome. Staff has been super kind while also giving me plenty of space and quiet time to sleep. And everything just looks and smells very clean and tidy. Definitely recommend! read more

If you are a member of the "Heroes" program, although it seems a great deal, it is not. In my experience the "diagnosis" is hasty, not well thought out, and careless. They realize the visit is being discounted, and they do not care to make it right. When in doubt, it's always dehydration, right? So whatever the cheapest means to get a "hero" out the door fastest, is the plan of care. At one time I thought the care here at the very least met standards, but now I know anyone should proceed there with great caution. read more

I've been here several times and had excellent experiences. However, this one surprised me. #1- When I entered, I was not greeted, but was asked , "why are you here?" I wanted to say, "obviously, I'm here..." but I didn't. I'm a physician's daughter and have great respect for drs and their care. I responded with "I need to be seen by a doctor". Her response was ,"for what?" I feel that could be a HIPPA violation. what if it was a very personal matter? That is not what I would announce in a waiting room. However, I did say "a sinus infection". Her spirit and professionalism just wasn't evident for a "gate keeper" or the face of your ER. #2- When I was brought to my room, I was surrounded by 3 men. Not one of them gave me their name. I couldn't tell you who my nurse was and I could only know who my Dr was bc of the white coat. #3- while waiting in the room, I had a nurse (I assume, who was pleasant, but never told me her name or made any conversation at all) come and swab my nose for all the tests. While I sat there, waiting for results, I had 2 more visits from employees. First one was a student I believe,(badge on his uniform) who brought in needles and such. Said nothing. I said, " what is that?" He said, " they are testing you for Mono." I thought "?? ...okay". He began to prep for drawing blood. Thankfully, he didn't complete it on me bc one of the 3 who walked me in, opened the door and said, "next room". THEN ANOTHER LADY, came in (didn't say who or what) and had a couple of vials and syringes and asked me my name... and the same guy who corrected them before stuck his head in and said AGAIN... "Next room." She said, "well.. I wondered bc that's not the name I have." I never saw or got to ask questions from the dr again, only the initial intake. The guy who dismissed me and brought me my scripts told me my diagnosis and had me sign and walked me out. I appreciate all you do and the care I have received, but this evening, the skill and professionalism was lacking. Just felt you might want to know these things. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! READ THE REVIEWS!! IT IS A SCAM!!! After accepting a patient they informed us that they do not accept insurance because they haven't been open for more than 4 years. Did not even do the testing that should have been done and didn't even resolve the issue just sent him on his way after telling us that they're charging us $650 for a 25-30 minute visit and an EKG test was done (which they said was normal). Dehydration was their diagnosis, but if we wanted an IV Drip it'll be an extra $1,000. No work done to see if dehydration was in fact the issue. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! Was told the boss & billing department are out until Monday. From the looks of it, who knows if we will even get ahold of anyone. Too expensive: My daughter went in for a simple allergic reaction, we were there 45 minutes and received a bill for $1500.00. The receptionist explained that they will bill insurance a higher amount but then discount it but this is not what occurred. I will say everyone at the facility was very professional and courteous but just too expensive in my opinion. Update: the facility did reach out to me and see what they could do to make my experience better which I thought was a nice gesture. They seemed very sincere and apologetic but I will still probably utilize a facility in network if the need arises in the future. read more

After a minor incident with a cheese grater and a tip of a thumb gone, a quick trip down the street to this doc in a box was just the ticket. Walking in, the first thought was, well there's no blood on the floor-good sign! They might not be busy! Gave ID and insurance to the receptionist and within 2 minutes (no joke), there was a call for my partners name. Not to sign papers, but to get her bloody phalange looked at. Brooke and Hillary were such a pleasure. They were the face of this ER for my partner. She was teary and scared of the obvious option of amputation! Brooke and Hillary reassured her that she was able to keep her thumb, but that she needed a tetanus shot. After the quick shot to the ass and a wrap of the wound, we were out the door! We did hit up the snack bar before we jetted out the door. The doctor and staff were fantastic. I sure hope we don't have to see them again-at least in their place of business, but if we HAD to grate another finger, we'd probably get there faster, knowing who would be there to greet us! read more

Went in for a covid test a year ago and received a Dr bill just a little over $3,000. Had insurance for the visit and they did not even bill my insurance provider come to find out.Hospital billing said my insurance had been terminated (which is false) and why I was told I received such a high bill.Checked with insurance company and was 100% covered during the time of visit. Insurance company has no record of hospital ever submitting an insurance claim. Asked for Itemized statement for such charges to begin with that I never received. My Insurance provider at the time for hospital visit claims hospital waited too long to send me a second bill for them to even accept a claim from the hospital leaving me responsible for the $3,000 Dr bill. Feels like Fraud and a Scam for visiting here. read more

While the staff was kind, helpful and thorough, the charges were astronomical! I went because I had eye irritation after lash extensions and needed eye drops. The resident promptly placed numbing drops in my eyes so I could get some relief, then looked closely to make sure I didn't have any scratches on my eyes. They were efficient and sent me home quickly with a prescription for eye drops. Imagine my surprise when they charged me $4,309.14 for that brief and simple care!! I just don't understand how they can justify that amount of money for an eye irritation! Had I known the charges were going to be so outrageous, I NEVER would have gone there. I could have gone to another walk-in clinic and paid $150 to receive the exact same care. It wish it hadn't taken 3 months to receive a bill from them. Unfortunately just days before I received the first bill (having no idea of their exorbitant charges) I needed care for some side pain. The gave me an IV, took blood, performed a urinalysis, CT scan and X-rays before deciding it was musculoskeletal pain from coughing so hard. If they charge $4.3K for an eye exam and eye drops, I am absolutely terrified of what the charges will be for all that!!! They were helpful, but I will NEVER go to this facility again. It is unconscionable to charge those ridiculous prices for needed care. read more

Amazing!! This place is the best... I had to take my little girl to the ER last night and everyone was amazing from the sweet ladies at the front desk to all the staff and physician in the back!!! When I went to start the check in process, we learned that they did not accept my insurance. The receptionist was friendly & suggested that I go to SSM Healthplex, where they did accept my insurance. And it worked out for the best! We didn't know, until I was waiting to be seen, that where we were specialized in what I was actually there for. So, thank you! This business is more about slapping on a bandaid then actually making sure they help you. I was shuffled around and they allowed a rookie to sew me up without supervision. They didn't clean any of the other wounds, just put bandages on them. I have horrible scars and my arm still hurts to this day. What's worse is that I was not able to make a conscious decision about even going there but my friends were just needing to get me somewhere. They found the one place that would not take the Medicare insurance because the "had not been in business long enough". This amounted to a huge bill that otherwise would have been completely paid. Good service, crazy expensive. Didn't realize how much it was gonna cost at all. I had poison ivy and I always have to get steroids when I get it. I just needed a prescription, they examined me for 5 minutes, told me to take steroids, and sent me on my way. Cost me $560 out of pocket. Nope, won't be back. read more
