One star is even too much. On their web site it says pass or don't pay and that is a lie. We took my sons truck we just bought. It passed smog with original owner just a month before. But due to change of ownership we were required to remove smog. The man who did our smog failed the person in front of us, but we had no concerns. He then failed our truck due to excessive smoke. Strange as there was no smoke. We took it to another smog certified place and it passed with flyer color, not even 12 hours later. When we went back to talk to all smog, they were rude and confrontational. They said smoke filled the garage, but I was standing there watching and told him this and he told me I am shit out of luck. So we are out the $55 they charge us. We have used them a lot in past and never a problem, it is too bad that they lost another customer and I will spread the word. We don't need this kind of rudeness in these hard times. read more

Went to All Smogs and the Tech (Angel) said I had a cracked leaky vacuum tee that caused it to fail. Took it to a mechanic and he checked and found no leak or crack of any kind. Took to another smog place and it passed no problem! RIPOFF!! read more

went into this place at the begining of the month to get my smog done again this year. they did the smog test 2 years ago and i was in and out in under 30 minutes. this year take it in and they passed the visual inspection but my obd was not ready to read as it was reset 2 days prior. went back a week later to finish the test, was told once again the system is not ready to read. left put over 500 miles on vehicle. returned to complete the test but this time the girl that was doing the test stated that i do not have the correct catalytic converters on my vehicle. because this place did not want to do there job and verify all the info for them. All 3 catalytic converters on the vehicle are approved per presidential executive order back in 2015 when they where installed. i went thru this issue with another smog test only station back in 2015. The problem I have is this facility passed this vehicle 2 years ago and nothing has been changed since then. this year the first guy who tested the vehicle passed everything including the visual inspection , except the onboard computer was not ready to read. the people in this place are not to friendly, and they don't seam to want to help anyone if it requires them to do there home work. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN NOT DO THERE JOB AS THEY SHOULD. Took my vehicle to another smog only station in San Jacinto. they did the visual inspectiobn and hooked up to there machine and it passed with flying colors. In and out in under 30 minutes. I will also be looking into fileing a complaint with the state. read more

I've been here three times now. Each time the service has been prompt, efficient, and friendly. Today, I overheard the tech tell another customer their vehicle did not pass inspection. Instead of shrugging it off and taking their money he offered advise and his thoughts on why it did not pass. He was courteous and almost apologetic. This place is a rip off. My girlfriend brought my vehicle with a coupon for $28.75 + $8.00 for certificate pass or don't pay on failed tail pipe emissions. After completing the smog they said no pass due to tampering with fuel canister hose. So the emissions passed but the visual did not and they summited to DMV as failed over a part that cost .50 and charged for the testing $31 +. They didn't offer to put a plastic elbow on hose or help in any way instead I have a vehicle that is recorded "tampered with". So I showed up at the station to discuss and they said the emissions is what they test first and it passed it was the ending visual the was ridiculous a hose inside of another hose secure tight fit but wasn't proper. I've owned the vehicle for 7 years and smog several times and the tampered part was never brought up. This is the way the vehicle was purchased. Most smog stations discuss things and how to resolve and don't just fail you so you pay double since you have a coupon. This place is a "JOKE" they just take advantage of people that don't understand vehicle emissions. Indra You might want to fix your Facebook add. From the moment I walked in the customer service rep was so kind and helpful. I showed her the Yelp coupon and gladly honored it. The total price is $40.00 that includes the smog $28.95 then California state fee. The waiting area is nice and clean! I was in and out in 15 minutes. They even have free wifi connection for customers on the go!!! They also provide DMV registration services for an additional fee $25.00. This is a one stop shop with excellent service. I just had a very bad experience here. My girlfriend took her car in, and when we got it back, they told us that we failed.. But we still had to pay. we passed the emissions test but because we had changed the battery recently, the computer failed the test. the lady behind the counter was non apologetic. She asked us to pay. The coupon said that if you don't pass, you don't pay, but because the computer reset, we were told we still had to pay. She never said she was sorry, she seemed to not even care about our frustration, and we did not feel welcome. So after a long conversation, we go out to the car and realize that she never gave us the keys back. when we went back to get they keys, she told us that they were left in the car. When we went out to the car, they were dangling in the ignition. They were sitting in the ignition, in a parking lot with unlocked doors for about 20 min! Someone could have stole the car. I went back inside to explain what they did and how displeased I was with both how irresponsible they were, the girl passively said, "Yeah, Okay" No one ever said, "I am sorry." No One ever said, 'Thank you" They seemed to not even care that I was there, they just wanted my money. It seems to me that if someone fails, you should be extra nice to them so they will come back for repeat business. I was very unhappy with my visit here! read more

This place was the only smog place i could find open on a Sunday. On top of that they also offer a coupon upon check in which is like 16 dollars off of the total price. If you have an older car - forget these guys. I have no idea how they handle newer vehicles, but they could not even find the connection they needed to complete the work on my car! Then THEY CHARGED ME EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT! They suggested I had changed the wiring! I of course had not, and the car had been successfully smogged many times before. The tech actually suggested I take my car to another shop and have them find the connection and bring it back to him to finish the work! I bet that would have gone over real well! Anyway, I ended up at Levi's Test & Repair Smog Station up the street and they found what they needed and smogged my car with no problem! This company had an opportunity to earn my trust and my business long-term but chose to throw it away. I brought in a 1999 Toyota Camry for it's first smog under my ownership on mother's day, 5/12/19 (I should have trusted my gut and walked out when I received a blank stare from the gentleman behind the counter instead of a greeting). Apparently, the previous owner was able to pass their last smog check with a piece of tape on one end of the evaporation hose (a part which I replaced for less than $4 in less than 5 minutes). A courteous technician would have informed me of this observation and suggested replacing the hose before running a pointless test but they chose to collect their $46.75 and earn some points with the state of CA instead. According to the gentleman at the company who passed the Camry a few days later, All Smogs will receive some type of points from the state for failing my vehicle with "Tamper" on the Comprehensive Visual Inspection and I can expect to receive smog checks every year instead of the usual every other year. I hope you're able to find another smog company that will respect and value your business for the long-term. read more

I have used this station once before, and they hesitated honoring the pass or free retest coupon. This time, they said my vehicle was too old for the coupon after sending me out to put more gas in the tank. The best they could do in price they told me, from the $28 coupon, would now be $40. While they are likely telling the truth, the whole experience was irritating. So I took my business else ware. For the additional $12 demanded they lost a customer for life. Customer service and loyalty often go hand in hand. Too bad some business are unable to make the connection. The coupon was from Yelp, so they have to know that I was likely to Yelp my experience with them. $12 would have been worth the positive feedback, one might think. But, this is a smog station I will not be revisiting. read more

Went here to Smog my Saab 9-3. I was in and out very fast although I did have a slight problem with the tech not passing my car due to a visual inspection issue. When i came back at a more convenient time to discuss the fail, the tech /owner Juan, was very fair in handling the re-test ( both in price and in explaining the reason of the fail) and showed great customer service and small business pride. I was happy with the outcome of the smog and will be returning thanks to his smog shop. read more

Bizarre, horrible experience. Went in looking for a smog check, ended up having to call the police to get the guy to open the roll-up doors and give us our car back. This place seems to get good reviews, but maybe Sunday afternoon isn't when the 'A' team is playing. The tech on duty got really offended when I suggested that the fact that he'd never seen a silicone rubber vacuum hose before did not necessarily constitute a valid reason to fail the visual inspection (per established CARB and Bureau of Automotive Repair guidance), and if he did fail me, I would have to go to a smog referee who knew more about the topic to get it reversed. He got really angry, told us to get the F* out, and locked the doors with our car still inside. Like I said, this is only one employee having a bad day, but the choice of the business to allow this guy to work alone reflects pretty poorly on the whole. If you do go, don't risk a Sunday. read more

NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO TO!! In fact, I am going to the court house tomorrow and sue them to get my money back. NEVER,EVER go to ALL Smog on 231 N. state street and Latham. WORSE SERVICE EVER!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I went in to have a smog check done and they didn't ask for my contact information, have me sign the work order, or ask me if my car had a locking gas cap, which it does. It failed the smog test BECAUSE they couldn't get the gas cap off....I'm not the somg technican or know how the test is run, how am I supposed to know they need to get into my gas tank? when I went to pick the car up, and was told of the issue I offered her the gas key and asked if they could do it while I was there. The Woman behind the counter who could barely speak english , told me that they would HAVE to charge me AGAIN to run ANOTHER TEST. She refused to give me my key until I paid the bill...I'm heading to the court house tomorrow~ it's a matter of principal.NEVER GO TO All Smogs~EVER. read more
