I dropped my car off on a day they were closed (as in not open and no expectation that I should receive service) so what happened? Well they know my car, and called me to ask what I needed to have done, and made arrangements to have my car repaired first thing Monday morning. I went to Watson's general tire on 05/01/2025 to have tires mounted and balanced. I was charged a…read morereasonable amount for the labor. After the work was complete I thought everything was fine. This was until a couple weeks later when I took my car onto the interstate and the steering wheel started violently shaking at highway speeds. Not understanding at the time that the issue could've came from the work done at Watson's, I made an appointment with my preferred Honda dealer since my vehicle is under warranty. After the dealership diagnosed the problem I learned that the issue was due to Watson's failure to properly balance my wheels and tires. Then to make matters worse the dealership also informed me that one of my tires was mounted inside out. After my business was finished with the dealership I went back to Watson's believing that with their failure a refund would be owed to me. Unfortunately they don't feel the same. They stated I should've came back to them and they would've corrected the problem at no charge. So i guess I should've known that the issue was because they failed to accurately do the job I paid them for. They offered to change my oil as a refund and stated they couldn't give me a monetary refund because the only thing I paid for was labor. Its a shame that Watson's General Tire won't hold themselves accountable and instead blamed me for taking my car to the dealership where I have a manufacture warranty. Why would I want them to change my oil? Are they going to buy me a new engine when they don't do that right? My father in law recommended Watson's to me back in 2018 when I moved to Danville and I've been going there ever since for any tire need or issue. Never again.

Took handicapped mother in law in to get tires in Walker/Farmer City location- checked in after we…read morehad to move her vehicle to a far away location (she uses a walker) as there was no place to park. It was odd and semi rude but I ignored it and was friendly and turned the keys into the lady at front - She seems extremely rushed or annoyed. (maybe too busy or short staffed)? A telephone call came thru and I needed to ask about an alignment. I waited. After she hung up I asked about a alignment and balance- and she snipped and said "It HAS to be scheduled!! Its 80.00) I said OK and she walked away. I waited by the window again to go ahead and help my mother in law actually schedule the alignment as she was in the restroom at the time. I saw her walk to the back office annoyed for some reason (probably to complain to the guy in back office- blue shirt and one with grey sweatshit on)- who walked thru mumbling something like "it has to be scheduled.." (Note: We all already knew that and simply stood there to schedule it!) owner, staff and front desk lady must not have liked that I was waiting at window to schedule and started yelling at me! (My mother in law and I were extremely shocked) and advised her I was jot being pushy and just asking to schedule an alignment for my mother in law). We both ended up sitting down after this traumatic behavior and customer service. Sat there a while and then the front desk lady brough a book over and asked my mother in law to schedule alignment. It was all very orchestrated, rude and ridiculous but understand things get tense at times. As someone who has actually worked in a tire/muffler and oil change shop as a front desk scheduler, and receptionist/check in person I would have NEVER behaved like that to ANYONE (nor would have the owner/staff encouraged it all). - was the perception. Maybe scheduling, staffing or time mgt is an issue at this location but it was very unprofessional and rude and NOONE including ME or my mother in law should have been treated that way. Ridiculous especially for a small town where everyone clearly is related to everyone or knows people.
