So, let me say that I'm giving this 2 stars because I do feel sorry for many businesses coming out of Covid, being short-staffed, etc. In fact, there's a sign out front indicating that. So I took that into consideration when I walked in, being extra kind to the staff when I purchased a ($30!) round of miniature golf for my family of 3. First of all, we weren't quite sure they were open. No outside lights, no rides going. Very odd for a Friday evening in the summer. **Sidenote:I worked here as a teenager some 20 Years ago when it was SportsWorld. Lots of nostalgia for me, but even with that perk, quite disappointing. The golf course was unlit, and every single green was not only run down, but really torn, jagged, awful run down. Strange! Like, how much does it cost to repair a hole?! I wouldn't mind paying this steep of a price for nice mini golf, but this was a total joke, honestly. We played on, joking about the darkness and how poorly we played on the frayed, jagged greens. And then we really did have to pull out our phone lights to see the holes... One ball got stuck in the windmill (hole 8) and we tried everything to try to retrieve it. Finally sent my son to ask for another ball and they tried to tell him it was the last hole so it was supposed to not come out. Frustrating. Finally got another ball and carried on, in the dark. All Star Sports: listen. We need date night places. Places to take kids and families. Invest in your property or sell to someone who will make it nice again. So sad that so many Wichita businesses have tanked over the years. Your staff were kind and doing their best. Your property is the problem. read more

Looked like a fun place. Came here before and decided to give it another shot. Boy were we mistaken. Walked in and nobody was there except for 2 attendants and a security guard. Decided to stay and as we walked through standing water on the floor and you could feel the water in the carpeting. Asked the attendant about the standing water she said it was from the rain but it wasn't near the doors. After further questioning found out the roof is leaking profusely. Won't be back again. Visited ASA for the first time 11/06 with family members. We were the first group to enter at opening. The restrooms were still trashed from the night before, obviously not cleaned. Only about five other people came in the whole time we were there. We had to wipe down our table in the vacated snack bar as it was a sticky mess. Staff hanging out behind prize counter and did not move from there. Very disappointed in the vibe. One and done. This place is on it's way out. read more

Today we went for my daughter's birthday with a friend hoping for hours of fun. We'd stopped by about a month prior and only did the arcade which wasn't bad but a lot of machines were out of tickets. That wasn't an issue today, looked like they filled them up prior as being the 1st ones there we got a few free tickets. I must say the staff they had was very friendly and helpful even though the venue was less than good to be honest. If you're doing the hourly passes I hope you enjoy go carts because that's probably the bang for your bucks. There are rides, 3 of which were closed for maintenance but the others are served by rotating staff as they don't have enough for every ride. They weren't terribly busy so that wasn't a huge issue other than the 1st round on go carts where we had to wait for them to start and fuel them (after they should have been open). The rides overall seem iffy, the "roller coaster" had to be pushed back by the staff kids twice that we saw as it somehow didn't make it to the stopping point. They all seemed like they could use some maintenance in actuality. We did the mini golf as well and the course was definitely in need of updates, astroturf was worn, our balls got stuck in a tube on one hole, loose bricks lining holes, just not nice for the overall money we paid. Two 2 hour adult tickets for rides/golf/carts, 1 mini golf and 150 tokens was just shy of $100. We also ended up eating there which was another $30 for at best, mediocre meals. The kids went with pizza since they didn't have chicken strips or hotdogs, I went with a cheeseburger. The cheese on the pizza was burnt, the fries that came with were overcooked and the burger was very basic. Trust me I didn't want expect gourmet at an amusement park but for the price didn't expect anything burnt. At this point I don't see us going back. I'd been here as a kid and when my daughter was younger, had they maintained it and kept up on it I'd say it was worth it. Since they don't seem to want to do anything to keep it up I'd say just go to Dave and Busters for the arcade games and food, then if you want rides find a local carnival or go out of town (unless you want to just do the go carts for a couple hours, then it's worth it). read more

Way over priced paid 165 for 5 people and half the rides and attractions were closed . You think for spring break they would be more staffed . Would have been better off buying $100.00 worth of tokens and letting the kids play arcade games . Usually an all day wrist band includes everything not different wristbands for different attractions . Paid 25 for three out dated rides over and over . Really not worth the price at all and. Outside attractions not as advertised. read more

Save your money people and your kids the disappointment and go somewhere else! Half the games don't work but you wouldn't know that until after you put your token in and it does nothing because they don't bother to put up "out of order" signs on the broken ones‍, the ones that do work are always out of tickets, the ticket counters are always broke as well. And let's not forget about the rides...one evening I took my daughter to ride the rides. it was one of the slowest nights I had ever seen, only my daughter and two other children, a brother and a sister were riding rides and there were to attendants running kids rides. My kid had to ride every ride that the other two kids were riding because the two employees were too lazy and too busy talking with each other they didn't feel the need to actually do their job and run the rides. Where can you go for lots of fun for all ages? All Starz! Unfortunately, it is one of the few places you can take the kids/family out for some fun. It cheaper then the Alley when it comes to playing games, but a lot of games also eat your tokens. I tried 3 games with my cousin and all 3 ate the tokens. I almost felt bad asking over and over and over to get new tokens. If you show up close to closing, don't play a game, the game will be turned off even if you are in the middle of it. Their miniature golf can be fun, like once a year at most! But the driving range is probably their best attraction. go get a club and ball and just smack it over and over! I believe Tuesday is double day! So if you buy 1 large bucket you get 2 large buckets. In the summer the place can be more adventures with the package deals on Friday, which is probably a better deal overall for the family. Try is once, love it hate it who knows... We took our son there for his birthday. One of the rides (large pumpkin looking ride) wasn't working. The lady operating the ride presses the button a few times but nothing happened. Rather than refund our one ticket we used on the ride, she then proceeds to just spin the machine by hand.....my son wasn't impressed and neither was I...... read more

*There is NO entry fee!* Myself and 5 adult friends paid $8 each to ride the go-carts for 5 minutes and it was worth every penny! We had no issues, went right in on a Saturday afternoon, got our tickets, hoped on a ride, and had a blast! There were little kids, adults and families. For better or for worse, this IS Wichita's Family Amusement Park (along with it's west-side, less-abled cousin All-Star Sports). Took the family and a guest here for some mini-golf fun. Although you purchase your mini-golf passes at the ticket booth in the front of the arcade, you're on your own finding where to pick up your clubs/balls/scorecard at the back of the building. The minigolf courses are in fair condition, although the waterfall features weren't running and several holes have no discernible lighting on them, making it difficult to play the course after dark. Also most of the holes are designed such that all balls end up collecting on the same area of the putting green, making it difficult for individuals to have a clear putt to the hole. I don't know if this was intentional or just caused by the natural degrade of the putting surface. There is also no indication of par on the scorecards or at the hole, so breaking par on the course is not an issue. Also: the brickwork around the holes is loose and unsecured in places, be careful if you stand on the edges of the holes. The "arcade" - many of the games might as well be slot machines, for all the skill required to release a torrent of redeemable tickets. The restrooms - according to my wife, were unclean and unfit for usage by human beings. Several of the toilets wouldn't flush. We bought a 10-pack of ride tickets. The rides seem in decent repair, and at least at the time we were riding, the rides were of acceptable duration. The ride attendants were polite and helpful. Honestly, the amusement rides are the best thing at this location, as I always enjoy rides on the Tilt-o-Whirl, Octopus, Himalayan, etc. Overall, the golf is fine when you can see the course, the arcade - money pit, bathrooms - avoid, amusement rides - worth the trip. Went here for a family night of mini golf. When we walked in to get tickets, the arcade room was dirty and had trash laying all over the floor. The mini golf course was in dire need of a make over. The water was absolutely disgusting with so much green algae you could barely tell there was water underneath. For as much as they charge to play a round, you would think the owners would take better care of this park. Unless we hear of improvements to this park we won't be returning! read more

I went here with some friends on our first day of summer (May 23) & all of the rides were closed due to a school event. However, we decided to stay and play mini golf. One of my friends purchased a go-cart ticket from the booth at around 11:45-ish and later when she went to do it (2:45), nobody was out there. So we went to the place that sold us the ticket and asked if the go-carts would ever open up. The staff member quickly informed us that the go-carts weren't going to be opened that day and that she couldn't get a refund. Overall, the staff wasn't very helpful in the situation above and in other instances. I don't think I'll be back. read more

This place sucks. I feel bad for parents because it seems like they are already limited on where they can take their kids here in Wichita as it is already, and this place just makes it worse. I have a nephew who is too young to know that this place is crap! They have the WORST customer service. The girl that helped me last time better be glad she wasn't wearing a name tag. Because she would have a shout on here. The machines suck! I would say 80 percent are broken. Most don't even have out of order signs. A grown woman hogged flappy bird for a good hour or so. Sadly, there were more adults than kids playing whatever machines there were available to play. Still can't comprehend that part. There's a weird alien ball machine that has the nerve to talk crap and cheat you out of your balls and tickets while being broken at the same time. Its also kind of messed up that its for kids but he's literally bullying the kids. I wouldn't make my kid take personal but the fact that it offers no incentives and cheats you doesn't help. Not much to do here, overpriced, and the employees are very rude. Moment that first comes to mind is the matinence crew guy working on 8/29 at 6pm at the cart track (hint hint employers). Easily the worst customer service team ever...run by teenagers who lack proper training in dealing with customer issues. I asked to see the manager and was told "he is too busy with paperwork to talk with anyone". I requested he come see me on the mini golf course when he was less busy...surprise...no-show. Well, my grandsons couldn't wait to drive the little cars. Got here about 8 and no one was on them. They got into two of the three cars and half way around the track they both died. Dead batteries that needed to be charged for ten minutes. Decided they would ride the helicopters. They were down for maintenance. Including today, 3 of the last 4 times we have been here they weren't operating. So finally one car charges enough for them to crawl around the track one at a time.
