This was his first daycare experience, and Shusha took him in and treated him as her own. His language and social skills blossomed right away. He had always been a very picky eater, but he loved Ms Mariam's cooking, and was always trying new and unexpected foods for the first time. Shusha was so loving and even went out of her way to personally help feed him on the days he struggled. We have since moved, and our son is now five years old. We have since attended three other wonderful schools with our two boys, but none of them compare to Shusha's school. For a nervous mom sending her son to school for the first time, it felt as if we were sending him to a warm, loving relative's home to play for the day. We still see the amazing activities she plans on social media, and think fondly of our son's time there. We are so grateful to Shusha and her team to have had the perfect first school experience.

Previously we had a close family friend watching my son for a year, so it was a nerve wracking decision to put him in someone else's care for the first time, but Shusha and her caring staff made it so easy!!! I honestly can not say enough good things about this daycare! The home is clean, they give them healthy home cooked meals, they have fun activities and events around the holidays and most of all they are attentive and caring. He was so loved there (that to this day Shusha texts me to see how her boy is doing :)) Most of all, my son came home everyday happy! They also have an option for preschool aged children!

We were so nervous about having her away from us all day, but choosing Mindful Sprouts has been one of the best decisions for our family. Our daughter has been attending for over seven months, and we couldn't be more grateful for Roza and her incredible team. They have created such a loving, nurturing, and safe environment where she is genuinely excited to learn, play, and grow each day. We love that her days are filled with engaging indoor and outdoor activities, nutritious meals and snacks, and, best of all, absolutely no screen time. It's clear that every activity is thoughtfully planned to encourage learning, creativity, and social development. The care, patience, and kindness that Roza and her team show every child truly set Mindful Sprouts apart. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our daughter is surrounded by people who genuinely care about her happiness and well-being. We couldn't recommend Mindful Sprouts more highly to any family looking for a daycare where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged every single day. Thank you, Roza and the entire team, for treating our daughter like family!

From day one, Roza has been loving, patient, and calm--exactly the kind of person you hope to leave your little one with. It's a small, in-home daycare, which gives it such a warm, family-like atmosphere. My son adjusted so easily--he's never sad when I drop him off, and he's always excited to go. In fact, he has grown so much in confidence and independence since starting here. He's talking more, learning new things every week, and even beginning potty training, which I never expected a daycare to help with so early! Roza also makes things so much easier for parents. She's flexible when I need an extra day, her rates are very fair, and she communicates well so I always know how my son's day went. I would recommend Roza's daycare to any parent. It's such a gift to have peace of mind knowing your child is not only safe, but also happy, learning, and truly cared for. Every child deserves a daycare like this one.

His sister is now at this same center since she was 6 months old. I'm truly so thankful to have found this center after having moved to the SFV without having known anyone or any centers in the area. Since the very beginning, all the teachers & staff have always been incredibly kind and supportive. I've never had a negative experience in the last 5.5 years my children have been here. Speaking from my own kids' experiences, they have always been well cared for and looked after. My son still asks to go visit his last teacher (Ms. Lupe - he loved her so much!) The teachers and staff have always communicated well with me, and have been honest and transparent in our conversations. The implementation of Class Dojo last year has been amazing with having all events & communications in one place. I absolutely loved the curriculum when my son was here - he learned SO much. It's truly impressive how much he already knew going into Kindergarten. He tested at or above grade level at the start of his Kindergarten year. All the classes are well structured with their outdoor play time and indoor learning schedules. It's truly a great place that nurtures a love for learning, creativity, and playing with friends.

My daughter attended Tiny Thinkers beginning in December 2020 and remained there through age four, so this review reflects several years of experience rather than a brief enrollment. There were many things I genuinely appreciated about Tiny Thinkers. Ms. Jana, Ms. Delilah, Ms. Alejandra, and many of the teachers in the younger classrooms were incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Ms. Alejandra even helped potty train my daughter, and I will always be grateful for the love and support she showed our family. Those positive experiences are the reason this review is difficult to write. Unfortunately, our experience changed as my daughter got older. Around age four, she cried every day at drop-off. At the time, I assumed it was simply separation anxiety. Even now, over a year later, she still tells me she doesn't want to go back because "Ms. Lupe was mean to me." She brought it up again just yesterday, completely on her own. For context, my daughter is autistic and high-functioning. She is verbal, was successfully potty trained while attending Tiny Thinkers, and did not have significant behavioral issues such as aggression toward staff or other children. Like many young children, she sometimes struggled with transitions and occasionally needed extra patience and emotional support. What concerned me most was how those moments seemed to be handled. I often felt that when she struggled, the response was to remove her from an activity rather than help teach her through it. One example that has stayed with me was when she had difficulty sharing the soccer ball. Instead of being coached through taking turns and learning the expectations of the game, she was simply no longer allowed to participate. I understand preschool teachers manage busy classrooms and difficult situations every day, but I had hoped for a more nurturing, teaching-focused approach. Initially, my daughter attended Tiny Thinkers for part of the day while also attending a public school special day class. When that program changed, we had to find another full-time placement. At the time, it felt incredibly stressful, but looking back it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. She flourished almost immediately after transitioning. She now loves going to school and summer camp, participates happily, has grown tremendously socially and emotionally, and no longer cries at drop-off. Watching that transformation made me reflect differently on our experience and realize she simply needed an environment that was a better fit for how she learns and develops. I know every child is different, and many families may have a wonderful experience here, especially in the younger classrooms. However, if your child is neurodivergent or benefits from additional patience, flexibility, and emotional support, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about how those needs are handled. I truly wanted to leave another glowing review because there are wonderful teachers at Tiny Thinkers who made a positive impact on our family. But knowing what I know now, I would make a different choice for my daughter, and I hope sharing our experience helps other parents find the environment that's the best fit for their child.

Ms. Irma, the owner, and Ms. Ala, her assistant, are incredible caretakers who truly love what they do. My son started with them right when he turned 12 months and they both guided us through a great process of adapting to their care. I wanted a place that was small and where my son could socialize and learn, after spending his first full year at home with us. We looked for daycares for months and all were either too big for our taste with 20+ kids and lots of teachers or the small ones felt too informal. This place is a great size with just up to 7 kids that start from ages 1 year until they are ready for school. They have a classroom where they learn, have activities, nap, and also an outside area where they play. Irma and Ala keep it very clean, no one can come into the space (you are greeted at the outside gate due to health protocols) they are mindful of hygiene and make sure everyone is healthy, which is important when you are dealing with kiddos. Communication is key, and Irma sends constant texts and keeps you informed as the day progresses with the cutest pictures of the kids in their activities that range from painting or playdough, or even cooking (safely, of course). I have seen my son flourish in their care and loved that they have different ages as my baby has learned so much from the older kids as well. Every day he comes home with a new word or skill and is so happy and full of energy (and clean!) Their approach is very loving and caring, my son loves to go and gets excited as we head out every morning saying his little friends' names. You can expect home-style breakfast & lunch as well as snacks, they keep a schedule so you know what to expect as far as food + naps but are open for pickup any time as long as you don't interrupt activities.
