I've hired Eric for general roof maintenance and minor repairs on two of my roofs before. Because I'm short on time and finding reliable vendors is a hassle, I called him again when I needed roof work on a third rental property. Communication over the phone was so so. He often talks to other people while on a client call or interrupts a call if someone else is calling him. It felt rude and, most importantly, like my time wasn't being respected. What really prompted me to write this review is his comment that he won't leave his driveway without a $100 service call. I already agreed to pay $395 for a full roof maintenance service, which should include inspecting the roof for any issues. Asking for an additional fee on top of that feels like he's trying to take advantage. Proper maintenance work should uncover problems without a separate service call charge. Overall, I wouldn't recommend him if you value honesty, transparency, and respect for your time.

The repairs were made in mid January of 2021, it is currently May 11, 2021, I waited a long time…read morefor a response before deciding to post this negative review. Here are the reasons I don't recommend them, no particular order: 1. Missed a lot of spots on the dry rot inspection. See picture with knife in wood. 2. Repairs were very poor as pointed out by our painter and contractor who came after them. 3. Did not try to offer any feed back or remedies or compromise or warranty on their work. 4. Lied about repair, we had a sagging patio, they said they would fix it. They just replaced the post and didn't bother to fix the sagging patio and said that they leveled it as much as they could. They said it would break other parts. We had to have our GC level the patio. He didn't break any thing and our patio is leveled. 5. We had some of the repairs redone by our painter, you can't tell that a repair was done by the painter. We can still see where Zero made their repairs. I don't think Zero knows what they're doing or doesn't care what their work looks like. Per our GC (General Contractor), you should not be able to tell that a repair was made. 6. They replaced our door with a bigger door and told us that if they didn't use bigger size door, we'd have to wait a few months. They neglected to tell us that they would have to cut down the door unevenly to make it fit. 7. Zero was supposed to replace pieces of rotted wood, instead, they just attached new pieces of wood next to the older one. The proper way is to take out the old pieces of wood and replace them with new ones. If we had left it, the old rot would have eventually traveled to the new pieces of wood and rotted too.
