This was my first time using this company, and it was such an excellent experience! I needed to change my boss's flight at the last minute, and they were incredibly accommodating. Peter reached out before my boss landed, clearly explaining all the pickup details and location. He even sent me his picture and pointed out exactly where he would meet her. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I booked a taxi in advance for a pick up from Truckee to a trailhead near Carson City, NV, where I was going to start a 6 day backpacking trip. I got a confirmation call, I gave my credit card and everything was set to go. On the day of the pick up, the taxi did not show up. No explanation was given. When I called all they said is "sorry" we can't contact your driver. The one thing I ask of a taxi company is that they are reliable. This company is not. Do not use this service. THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND WILL CANCEL WITHOUT EVEN TELLING YOU. There are plenty of other taxi services in Tahoe and Truckee that are better and reliable. Use those. read more

Booked my transportaion from Tahoe to Truckee with All Star for a dinner in Truckee. We had a large group for dinner. The driver was one hour late. We lost our reservation at the reatuarant. The driver was very apologetic and said he talked to his company and they agreed to comp the trip. All Star charged my credit card. I then called them and the girl I talked to talked with management and said that the credit should appear in a few days. It did not. I called All Star again and a manager came on the line and said the charges stood and the driver and lady on thier phione had no authority to agree to a comp. Very unprofessional. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Total scam artist. It also operates as a Voyage transportation that Ritz Carlton uses to book airport trips. I had arranged a private transportation through Ritz for airport transfer to the hotel. Not only was the driver late, he then wanted to take some random passengers with us from the airport. When I refused since that wasn't what I had arranged, he tried to abandon my family at the airport. It was 1030pm, and my wife and I were towing 3 kids. I think he was trying to make some extra cash by picking up more people from the airport. When I complained to the hotel about this since I didn't want the same driver taking us back to the hotel, our return trip was secretly cancelled. The driver didn't show up. The hotel scrambled another car to get us to the aiport. When I got home, I starting seeing mulitple charges on my credit card from Voyage and All Star transportation. Charges that I never authorized. I had to cancel my credit card. I later realized that the driver was Rodney. He is also the owner of these companies. This guy is a terrible person. Avoid him and his company at all cost. read more

I recently got married at West Shore Cafe and my wedding planner recommended this company for a post-wedding shuttle service for guests who didn't want to drive home in the dark or after a few drinks. These guys were INCREDIBLE. They were so friendly (multiple guests told us this) and they stayed a little later than our original booked time to ensure every guest got home. The next day we realized a guest had left a Prada bag in the car so we reached out to the driver to coordinate a pickup. The driver was so kind and offered to bring it to him at no cost (see text). Unbelievable customer service at a great price. This was the way to go in a Tahoe since Ubers and hard to come by and most of the guests were staying at dispersed Airbnb's. read more

The communication pre-trip was excellent. When we arrived at Reno Airport our driver Kyla was waiting for us just outside the door. We had a very efficient drive to Heavenly (you'll never be late with Kyla!) The cars to and from the ski resort were very well kept and perfect for what we needed. We had an early flight from Northstar Lodge to Reno- Tahoe International at 6am and it was really difficult to get an Uber or Lyft driver to accommodate. We had to move our flight to a 3:30 pm time and was worried about getting accommodation thru Uber or Lyft. I found Allstar Taxi on Google. I spoke and texted with Eric who was wonderful. He was upfront with cost and guaranteed a ride to the airport for a reasonable price ($140+gratuity for 4 people) from the resort to the airport which was a 45-50 min drive. Our driver, Mike, was great. He was arrived 10 min early than the expected pick up time of 1pm. He offered us water and the ride was smooth and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this company to any family member staying in Lake Tahoe needing ride accommodations. I would definitely use them again when I come back to Lake Tahoe. read more

Reliable. Excellent communication. Have used them probably a dozen times over the last few years, and they have always been punctual and polite. Only complaint would be that the last couple of drivers we have had were extremely sloppy in their appearance; unkempt hair, clothes poorly-fitting and quite wrinkled. When I hire black car service and pay these kinds of prices, I expect from experience to have a driver in dark slacks or dark skirt, white shirt/blouse, dark tie and suit coat or blazer. Call me old-fashioned, but I feel that a sharp appearance is very important in the service industry. Other than that, their service is great. DO NOT USE!!! I booked two SUV for my wedding and it was a disaster. To start they showed up at 5am instead of 5pm, then I confirmed location and time after that to make sure they wouldn't mess up again. Guess what, they did. They went to the wrong location AGAIN. Which caused me to be late to my own wedding. Also, during booking they offered me alcohol for our ride, they then charged me $72 for korbel champagne. If I would of know I would of brought my own. The driver told me I'd receive a discount for the mess they made but I didn't. They said I was under quoted so that's my discount. So you're telling me your fixing your mistake with your other mistakes?! Mind you, I also called to confirm WAY before that day to see what kind of car we were riding in. They had every chance to let me know they were under charging me. At then end of the night we didn't need the second car and I told the very nice driver I was happy to still pay for his inconvenience. It's not about the money, they could of given me a $20 discount and I would of been happy. I wanted them to own up for their ridiculous amount of mistakes, they didn't. I 100% recommend All Star Transportation, especially Joshua as the driver! I was traveling alone with my 2 young kids, so my anxiety level was already pretty high. When we landed in Reno (I was coming from Orange County), we were greeted with a pretty epic snow storm. The roads were pretty icy and precarious. There were several accidents along the way. My anxiety went through the roof! Joshua was such a great driver and had total confidence over the conditions. As a mother, I can't begin to express how much I appreciated this. Prior to the drive, upon arrival to Reno, I was greeted with a text from Joshua. He was very clear in his communication, which made finding him and getting on the road much easier. I recently took a trip to Truckee with kids and grandkids to play in the snow for a weekend stay. We took a train because we weren't sure what the road conditions would be and for the kids to enjoy. Our first time in Truckee and had no idea what to expect, especially with transportation. Tim at Allstar was literally our hero and took our stress away! We reserved a ride to and from the train station and despite the train being late was waiting for us and kept in constant communication. Thank goodness because it is impossible to find taxis, Ubers or Lyfts especially with a large family! ! He also saved the day when my daughter and grandkids when they got a UBER to a sled park and none available to return back, I texted Tim the situation and despite not being available, he found another driver within minutes of texting him the situation! I got a call from another driver who went and picked them up on the fly!! If you plan on a trip in that area by train or pane, or a car that is not 4-WD, I highly recommend making a call to Tim and making reservations, beyond professional, caring, and helpful. read more

We needed transportation from Tahoe City to the Reno airport for a 7am flight during the holidays and we were more than impressed with his service and response. We were a little concerned with the weather as it was expected to snow significantly the day/night before our flight, but Tom was available to answer any of our questions and concerns. It ended up snowing between 6"-12" across the Tahoe region the day/night before we left and on the morning of, Tom showed up right on time at 4am to pick us up in a warm and toasty Suburban outfitted with 4 Wheel Drive and snow studded tires. Although we left on a powder day, we were extremely happy that Tom easily and safely got us to the Reno airport. Would definitely book again! read more
