Trigger warning: pet bereavement. We are newer to the area and had went to a vet on Springmill but I didn't care for his bedside manner towards my cat. Anyways, Lilly Vanilly (Lilly) was always food insecure. She was a dumpster kitty that was weaned way too soon. She became obese and had some health problems because of it. Last month she became constipated. She would strain and cry. We attempted all of the things. Pumpkin, forcing fluids, high fiber wet food. We made an appointment and they got us in the same day for a ROUTINE appointment. They didn't charge for an ER appointment which I appreciated. They took X-rays and Lilly needed to be deobstipated. I left her there for the afternoon. The initial deobstipation didn't work. The second one a few days later worked much better and she seemed like she was getting along much better. Back to her normal self! Fast forward a week later and she was just not doing great. She had to go to the kitty ER in Indy and stayed for a day. Anyways long story short they fixed her once again. Temporarily. We lost our poor girl today. I'm not sure if it was the constipation or the fact that she may have had an obstruction but her last month of life was heartbreaking. All-Star was incredible through the entire process. Seeing these comments about how expensive it is has been strange because I feel like the cost of services is on par with any other facility but the staff here shines! Even follow up texts to ensure things are going well. Yesterday I made an appointment for 0800 today because she stopped eating and began exhibiting signs of generalized weakness. Lilly didn't make it to her appointment. She passed about 7am today. I still brought her in, but a different kind of appointment. We made the decision to get the personalized cremation where they return the ashes in an urn of your choice. They also allowed me to take paw prints which I turned into art. They'll do much better prints for me as well (I'm not a professional paw print taker, but I love to paint and Lilly would always kind of just sit and watch while I create. I'm glad I had supplies with me today) anyways. As sad as this story is I still have two cats as patients and I'm very impressed with the care that we received. read more

Dr. Foust is the best vet I have ever taken my pets to. She helped with my cat's very difficult medical issues and made him healthier in his last years than he was his whole life. Both she and Sydney guided us through putting him down when it was time and made it a memory that we can look back on without guilt or regret. It was as good as a sad situation like that could be. We just adopted an older dog with an unknown past and I was so grateful to book an appointment with Dr. Foust the morning after we got her. She gave her all she needs medically and advice for us for helping her adjust to her new life. We just moved out of state and I will miss her and Sydney and appreciate the extra time and care that they gave my family during the 2 years we lived there. read more

My hedgehog had a large swollen gland on his neck. I wanted to get it checked out. He was fine though. He was eating,drinking and playing until he went for a check up. I didn't want him put under because they don't do well with that. My daughter has a vet she takes her hedgehog to and they never have to put him under to exam him. Anyway they said he was OK just had an infection they supposedly drained,put him on meds for it and they said his gray showed no signs on cancer. He never fully woke up after that and ended up dying that next day. After we spent almost 1000 on his treatment. Then when I called they said no explanation. They killed my sons pet that he was extremely close to and didn't have anything to say for it. They shouldn't have put him under for one and they must have given him to much and that's what killed him. He was perfectly fine the day before. Now I will always regret getting him checked out to make sure his neck was OK. Please take your exotic pets somewhere else if you care for them. Fishers has a great vet my daughter goes to for hers. Words cannot describe how impressed I am with all of the staff at All-Star! They are so compassionate and kind. My cat was not acting like her normal self and was very lethargic. I was very worried about her and knew we needed to get her in right away. Since I was not a fan of our current vet we reached out to All-Star. They were able to get us in immediately. Unfortunately, it was not great news, my cat had gone into kidney failure and there was not much we could do for her except to keep her comfortable. I was devastated and started crying. The vet was so kind to me when I started crying and I remember her telling me something along the lines of not to apologize, they liked knowing how much she was loved. I took her home that day to say goodbye and the next day I brought her in because the humane thing was to let her go so she would no longer be in pain, definitely one of the hardest decisions I ever made. I really can't describe how comforting they were during this. But I knew that I would be bringing our other cat here in the future for all of her needs. Fast forward a few weeks and I brought our other cat in for her check-up. She gets so scared and shakes whenever we take her to the vet . They were so good with her, she just clung to them because she was scared of being at the vet but felt safe with the vet and with the tech. The vet held her like this while examining her so as not to stress her out as much. I know I've written a book but I cannot say enough kind things about them. I know people say they are pricey but if you are comfortable paying a little more then I 100% recommend bringing your fur babies here. read more

You named your office correctly. You are definitely an ALL STAR veterinary clinic. So friendly and so compassionate. They did definitely go above and beyond. I couldn't get into any of the vets near me (Kokomo In. ) And my cat was very sick. So I saw this clinic online. I really didn't want to drive an hour for an office call. They did not even hesitate on getting me in within a couple of hours. We got so lost trying to find this place, and was way past my appointment. I walked in, they greeted me at the door and took me right back to a room. I was so shocked they even would see me being so late getting there. The staff was so wonderful. I think I ended up talking to 4 different staff members coming in the room. Only complaint was the price. When I made the appointment I did not bother asking how much $$$$$$$ for an office call. I was just concerned about getting help for my kitty. I was given several options on how to proceed. I opted for an anti-biotic instead of X-Rays and blood work. So hope that works. Oh and I might add they had a real fight on their hands with my not so nice kitty. It didn't even concern them. I love that place. read more

my rating is a zero.STAY AWAY FROM All Star Vet, they should rename it to Rookies or novice vets. My dog was having issues with her mouth and our normal vet was on vacation and we were referred to All Star vet. My wife took our dog in to be seen and Dr Dudley did not do a full exam, just pulled on my dog's lip, said she had an abscess and would need all of her teeth extracted (even though she never opened her mouth. ) She prescribed some antibiotics and another medication to help with pain and sent my wife and dog out the door. The total cost for the visit and meds was over $400 and when they called about surgery gave estimate of $3000.00. My dog's mouth got worse over the last two weeks and the antibiotics did NOTHING!! My wife and I took our dog to our regular vet (Dr. Fleck) in Noblesville and they did a full exam and found a large cancerous mass that was the inside of Gretta's mouth to rot away. It had spread from one side of Gretta's mouth and neck, to the other. Quality of life was discussed and with how rapidly this was progressing, it was decided that the best thing for Gretta was to put her to sleep. It was said that it had been like this for a few weeks and shouldn't have been overlooked. I saw the pictures they took and I have ZERO veterinary training and I knew it wasn't a tooth abscess. All that All Star did was take $200 for visit and cost me $200 in medication that never should have been prescribed. If they would've done their job in the first place, Gretta wouldn't of had to endure two more weeks of unnecessary suffering . If you want a vet that cares about their patients' and patients' families', go to Dr. Fleck and stay clear of "All Star " vet. They're nothing but a joke and in it for the money only. read more

VET I had a wonderful first-time experience with Dr. Foust & other wonderful ladies from their team today. I knew something was wrong with my cat this morning & they made sure I was able to get in today. Whomever it was I spoke to said she was scheduling me with Dr. Foust because she specializes in cats, which made me really happy. Unfortunately, it was sudden & not a good diagnosis & we had to put him to sleep this evening. I did not wake up this morning thinking my day would end this way, but the kindness and compassion Dr. Foust and the other lovely staff showed me was more than I could have asked for. This is absolutely the most amazing Vet in the US. I have been to vets all over Indianapolis, tried to find one in the San Francisco area. I was still not able to find one as good as Dr. King. The mannerism of Dr. King and her staff is unparalleled. Her approach to medicine has yet to be matched in my travels. My poor oldest pug was diagnosed with large tumors. Dr. King removed the cancer and my baby is absolutely healthier than ever. I always look at 3 things the first time I visit at Vet. How clean it is. How they greet my Pugs.
