As someone who used to belong to the downtown YMCA for the same money, I find this club to be a…read morebargain. The facilities are really nice. It has the only racquetball courts in the area, you get a free trainer session to start you off, lots of options for working out including pilates and the stretchy band things, tennis courts, indoor track...I haven't tried the pool yet but they have indoor and outdoor, steam room and sauna plus whirlpool and I don't have to share it with gross teens or men. Restaurant on site serves excellent food. Snack bar does not have lattes, one drawback. Another BIG plus is the spa- excellent prices on pedicures, really nice products, I love my facials here, also has massage. They have another location in Hooksett convenient to my house, but I like the main club much better.

I had my winter jacket stolen from the coat rack of the men's locker room at this gym on Friday,…read moreNovember 21 between the hours of 6-7 AM. When notifying the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said they would reach out. No one contacted me. On Monday, 11/24, I found out the front desk staff had misplaced my information over the weekend. They asked for it again and I provided my email, specifying that I'd prefer to be contacted via email instead of phone. I specifically told them that I would be at work all day and would not be able to answer a phone call. I watched the front desk agent circle my email and write "best contact" with my own eyes. Later that Monday, I received a call from another representative, who had to leave a voicemail because I was busy at work. Their voicemail essentially told me to check lost and found. No mention of my jacket being stolen or a crime having been committed. Given the lax response from the gym, I decided to file a police report. I completed the process online and was notified shortly after that the case had been accepted. I was given a case number. On Tuesday, I once again notified the front desk staff that I would prefer to be contacted by email. I specified that someone did call, but that I was unable to answer because I'm working. I also notified them that I filed a police report, and emphasized that any correspondence between us would now need to be written. I also reiterated that I know a crime occurred because it was a small window of time (6am-7am) and that my jacket had a broken zipper on one pocket, meaning whoever took it knows it does not belong to them. I am irked by the way the gym responded to this. I am also disappointed in their poor performance when first reporting this crime. This gym charges $115 monthly with a $175 annual fee. You're better off going elsewhere for far less money. I have been going to much better gyms since I was in high school and I've never had something stolen from me. I added a picture of a row of broken ellipticals. This is typical for this gym despite the amount of money it charges its members. There are also broken pieces of exposed, sharp wood in the men's sauna that ownership refuses to properly repair. Buyer beware.

Seems like a cool space to hang out with friends and eat some just-ok BBQ. We had a hard time finding the entrance and almost went through the emergency exit but just know that it's on C Street and the signs for PKL/Pig Beach are pretty inconspicuous and small. We tried a few things off the Pig Beach menu, none of which blew my socks off. Ordered a sampler platter of BBQ meats, my favorite of which was the cheese jalapeno sausage link. The rest of the proteins were either dry/lacking in flavor (brisket) or doused in some indeterminable sauce that overwhelmed everything else (pulled pork). The best thing I ate ended up being the crispy chicken that my husband added to his salad. I wish they brought back the nachos on the previous menu. Parking: Limited meter options so get here with some time to spare. We did a few circles around the block before we finally found a spot in front of the building.

The facilities are clean and modern looking - they also provide paddles and balls which is great. The food was solid, service was pretty attentive with drinks and asks, and overall we had fun. I probably wouldn't come here on my own time due to the price, but otherwise, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to folks looking for an indoor pickleball session!
