I still like this course but they lose a star - and should lose another, due to a recent visit. - The old guy behind the counter is clueless. I came in to sign up for a foursome, only I didn't know the last name of the guy it was under. My group was on the tee box, and I had to run outside to get the guys' name. I came back in - had to STAND IN LINE AGAIN!? No help from the old man! I get up to the counter - give him the name - he has no clue. Takes FOREVER to sign me up. It was impossibly frustrating. - The greens were recently airated - and it made putting a complete mess. It was horrible. - I still like the course and recommend it - it is beautiful and quiet - but that guy behind the counter and the cruddy greens really bugged me. read more

I've never had an issue with bringing my daughter here before I come on Father's Day and they tell me that she's not allowed to come due to insurance reasons which is odd because they didn't have a problem with it last month. read more

Me, James, Ben & Molly played here on Tuesday morning. James played here before so he had some local knowledge. It's an OK course but I would not recommend playing here within a few days after a rain. Many of the green areas have large wet areas where your ball will sink and be lost never to be seen again. The tee boxes have cheap looking little colored baskets for markers. The out of bounds can be severe because of many rocks and roots along the tree line. I scored two birdies on two different par 4's which was first for me. read more

Everyone's got there bad wedding stories. I'm sure mine tops yours. The day itself was beautiful and we had a fun night thanks to our DJ and Photographer. Wish I could say for the wedding venue. To shorten the VERY long list of issues we had; here are the few major ones: 1. Original date was in June, more expensive because of wedding season and Saturday night, had to reschedule because I got pregnant, changed to October and a Friday night. Same price, no discount 2. Wedding coordinator missed a meeting of ours (30 minutes from our house) asks us to come back and is late when we do 3. Never helped out with cake and flowers, which was included in our package 4. Never gave us a food tasting, which was mentioned to us from day 1 5. Tried to change prices on us because "prices changed in 2013" never gave us our original SIGNED contract price, "worked" with us and split the difference 6. Tried to change our rehearsal time, two weeks prior to it 7. Assistant to wedding coordinator was trying to talk about another bride in front of me and ends up offending me because she didn't know she was in fact talking about me. 8. Wedding coordinator and assistant talked for 20 minutes while my bridesmaids struggled on my bustle on my dress, comes over and tells me this is why she tells brides to make sure they learn it 9. Tells our DJ to stop playing music an hour before our contact time ended, and shut the bar down early 10. I email the manager, he says he is stunned and is taking my letter very seriously, will be talking to her and getting back to me. 11. Emails me back and tells me she is upset and thinks that she could have handled some situations better but there were many borderline and intoxicated people at the wedding reception(LIE, no one was THAT drunk) 12. Says nothing about any of the insults or time, pricing, etc., when I ask again in an email back, he tells me he is sorry again and wishes us a healthy and happy life. WORST experience ever at Candia Woods Golf Links, Candia, NH. Save yourself the trouble and stress and find somewhere else. read more

My wife and I have played here often over the past two years and we couldn't be happier with the course and the staff. We have decided to become members next year. Then staff constantly makes us feel very welcome and helps us with anything we might need....and we are just regular golfers, not members (yet). The course is always in great shape and the greens are consistent and pure. The other reviewer that mentioned the greens being aerated should realize that all courses do that twice a year and yes it is tougher to put on them within a couple of days of that being done, but it is necessary to keep the greens in great shape for the rest of the year. We did sign up for their free, preferred player program and that makes it one of the most affordable courses around in our opinion. This year we started taking lessons from the head-pro and so far that h gone great too. It is just our opinion, but we keep saying how much more welcome we feel at this course than when we play other local courses. Don't think I have a single negative thing to say actually, which has only happened to us with one other course in NH (Owl's Nest). Oh and we take our 5 year old to "family golf nights" where he can play from the 150 markers and everyone pays $10 per person, with a cart included! Best course around! read more

Nice course, horrible staff. They are extremely rude, constantly up your ass rushing you along. It wasn't even that busy when we were there and we were moving at a decent pace already. Also, I hadn't even teed off yet and one of the guys sarcastically pointed out that "the girls tees are up there". We will never come back. Absolutely horrible course. They were overbooked. There were several rangers on the course who were interrupting games and pushing people along. They even drove in front of players when they were driving/hitting balls. One poor man's ball hit the cart because they drove right in front of their game. Terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We even tried to get a hot dog at the 9th hole and were told that we had to go to the next hole immediately. Rude employees. And it's overpriced to boot. Not at all pleased. Golfing is supposed to be relaxing. We will never return or recommend this course. One star. If there was a no stars option, that what they would get. read more

Absolute best place to have a wedding!! Taylor, the coordinator, goes absolutely above and beyond to help her brides! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. From the start of the planning process to the last hour of the wedding Taylor was there to help. She was responsive to emails and texts and even helped decorate the ceremony space and reception room. On the wedding day, some of my corsages for my husbands sisters did not arrive with my flowers. Taylor went out and bought two dozen white roses and MADE beautiful pins for them. I was so grateful and impressed by her skill. She honestly made me feel like she was personally invested in making our day the best it could be. The rest of the staff at the wedding were also courteous and amazing and always ensured we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and dinner was served extremely smoothly! They let us take pictures anywhere we wanted around the golf course, and they even provided golf carts for us to use so we didn't have to walk. The grounds are so beautiful and flower-filled, which helped to make our pictures amazing. Their prices are extremely fair and they do not try to charge you extra, unnecessary fees. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding day. read more

Terrible venue for a wedding. Christina the wedding coordinator is the worst...horrible communication and no attention to detail.

My daughter chose the Evergreen Terrace at Candia Woods Golf Links for her wedding and reception and I couldn't have been happier with her choice. Christina was right on top of everything and every detail was taken care of before it became any kind of an issue. The room was beautiful, the grassy area for the ceremony was perfect, even though we have been declared an extreme drought area, and the food and service were impeccable. We were given the use of the ladies locker room for changing and getting ready for the ceremony. Although it was very warm, as locker rooms can be, several fans were set up for our comfort. Christina kept everything running smoothly and the evening went off without a hitch! Thanks for helping us have a fantastic event! read more
