Overall im very happy with the cut and the price. Everyone there seemed friendly and by the time I left there were at least 4 people waiting for their turn. Would definately come back again.

I had a very bad experience with the owner of the salon Michelle. I had a consultation with her…read morewanting calico color hair and everything seemed fine I paid a $75 deposit . I came in for my appointment in October and she told me that it was possible that the colors would fade which I expected since vivid colors don't usually last a long time. I also told her that in the future I definitely want more vivid colors and she said I should have no issues with that. She started with the appointment and seemed off. I could tell she was stressed and nervous and she didn't talk to me much. During the appointment she put color on my hair had me sit for a while and then rinsed me off. After that she started with the hair cut and everything seemed okay. After the haircut she did not ask me if it looked okay or anything she just got to curling straight away. And then I paid the rest of my money owed which was over $200 and bought an overly priced shampoo. My bangs were short and choppy but everything else seemed okay. I started using the shampoo and it was horrible, she had recommended it for my oily hair but it made it so much worse. My hair grew out and the color started to fade and i thought it looks okay. I can't see in the back of my head but from the front everything looked fine. I decided that I thought I paid way too much for this service so I decided to go to a new hair stylist. I had a consultation with her and she asked me if I had looked in the back of my head. I said I know my roots are grown out but that's it. She took photos and my hair looked so bad. There's banding, streaks, it's splotchy and there is breakage. It looks like she threw the color on in a rush. The new hairstylist says this is not normal. I messaged Michelle and told her that this isn't right and that I should've never left the salon looking like this and that she should have told me this would have happened and I would've done something else. Now I have to spend over $400 to get a color correction. Michelle stated that she has a 14 day policy but I was never made aware of the policy and never saw any signs or anything else. I requested a refund if not all at least part because I have to pay to get this fixed. She will not do that and offered to fix it but I will never let her touch my hair again. Please BEWARE i have had so much bad luck with vivid hair stylists in Manteca and Michelle is another person you should stay away from.

This was my first time trying Jenny and I must say she is a wonderful person and I love the cut she…read moregave me. I gave her 4 stars because I had come in looking for a specific shade of red after seeing all the fun colors she has posted. I showed her a photo for reference and she suggested a dye that would still dye my dark brown hair red without having to bleach first. So we tried it but it didn't take very well and left some areas orange, brown and dark red. She was incredibly willing to fix it and we tried again. She added bleach(?) On a few spots around my head instead of the whole head which I had never seen before so I assumed it was some new way of making this work and then she washed it out and applied the dye onto wet hair (which again I thought was different) and let me sit at the sink for about 20 min. The end result appeared washed out/faded and not evenly colored at all and I would have been happy to live with it as it wasn't terrible but this color needed to be on point for my wedding. I do not want this to be a knock on Jenny what so ever, like I said she was awesome and the cut was perfect, unfortunately tho I had to make the decision to go to another salon to go over her color with the shade I needed.
