But if I really wanted to get it cut shorter I would always look for a hair salon that would listen to my idea and the vision I wanted for this new hair cut. I've been taking my 2 boys for haircut recently. I like the comfort they give to their clients, couch with free use of chargers.. stationary bike and a table with activities for kids. Sonny's so good and kind with my boys. He does their hair really neatly and nicely. Last Friday, I did my Balayage with Lina and I couldn't be any happier with the results. My daughter needed a haircut and thought we'd give this place a try since it got good reviews and was pretty close to our house. I like that they offer walk ins and you don't need an appointment. We only had to wait for maybe 10 minutes before getting called for our turn. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the woman who cut my daughters hair but she was lovely and very nice. She didn't take long at all and my daughter absolutely LOVES how her hair turned out. She had the biggest smile on her face! I don't usually leave reviews on Yelp, but this is the second time I'll leave one in a long time, and this time it's about what they did to my daughter's hair. So I contacted the salon Monday about 3:19 p.m. to see if I could make a haircut appointment, and it just so happened that KIM answered the phone. She suggested we could just show up at the salon, so I told her we'd be there by 4 p.m. We arrived at the salon at 3:48 p.m. We barely waited a few minutes before my daughter sat in the chair. KIM asked as to her desired style, and my daughter replied that she simply wishes to get her split ends clipped. KIM showed my daughter how far she could cut her hair, and she given permission. KIM then asked again if she wanted layered hair, and she answered, "sure, why not?" I was watching her the entire time she was cutting my daughter's hair till I noticed how she was layering my daughter's hair. I thought it was strange how she was doing it, but I didn't say anything because she's a hairdresser, of course she knows what she's doing. Until I saw my daughter's reaction; she no longer appears to be happy. At first, she appears to be fine until she notices her hair decreasing out. When she was finished with my daughter's hair, I asked her if she liked her haircut, and she looked uneasy and about to cry at the outcome of her hair. I knew she didn't like it right away. KIM asked $35 and left a $5 tip. My daughter began sobbing as soon as we left, and I felt terrible. I wanted to make her feel better, so when we arrived home, I tried to flat iron her hair to make it appear better until we discovered the worst. KIM trimmed her hair unevenly, and it was so horrible that my daughter began to cry again. I contacted the salon today and explained what occurred to the manager, LYN. She asked if I may bring my daughter there to look at it. I brought my daughter today, and she requested if she could sit down to fix her hair, but my daughter refused to touch her hair again. She was horrified and afraid that they would mess up her hair again, so I told LYN that I respected my daughter's decision and would ask her as a manager if she could do anything about it. She informed me that they are in commission and that all she can do is correct the mistakes made by KIM!! Lyn asked KIM if she could refund the money or do something else in exchange for what she done, but she refused. I'm trying to keep my emotions in control, but she frustrates me, so I speak up and ask KIM, "So it's okay for you to mess up someone's hair and do nothing?" They simply continued telling me all things, but I told them we weren't going to show there or spend our time. We had a reason to go there! All I want is to compensate my child for the services provided by the hairdresser. Until LYN spoke up and told KIM to give us half of what we paid, despite the fact that it was KIM's fault. LYN even apologized and informed us that my daughter's hair had been cut unevenly! The lesson here is that we shouldn't just go to a hair salon because we don't know what they are capable of just because we want a haircut. They can't just blame us and say it happens at every salon. This is your salon, and you must provide satisfaction to your customers; it is not our responsibility that we showed up one day and messed up someone else's hair. If you want your customers to return, ensure that they receive what they desire! read more

Initially driving into the shopping center I was pleased to know it was well kept. Once I enter the salon I was pleasantly surprised by the decor. It was a sassy but industrial at the same time. If that makes any sense. Sonny talked as if we had known each other before.
