I was the only person inside waiting for a cut. Some man comes in and they greet each other, whatever. We are waiting to get our cuts (about 10-15) that's normal, all good, but once Hao finishes up the guy he's working on he calls up the other guy that came in after me (not an appointment). I get a text from my friend in the car asking "weren't you next?" Yeah, I walked out. My husband came here for a TRIM and the lady rushed his hair trim and even chopped off about 6 INCHES of hair!!! Oh man, my husband was pissed because he had really long hair. My daughter and I needed haircuts today and can't do any other day so I called around and got to Tango. Called her up and she was able to take both of us in. We both got a bob haircut and loved it. After getting my hair dyed, I was given a massage when she washed my hair which was just what I needed. The color came out better than I had expected. Okay, so I know Tanya does an excellent job and she has loyal clientele, I was one of them. And I know you'll have to wait at times, and doesn't do appointments. I changed my strategy to arriving at 9:30 a.m. to avoid a long long wait. Last time I was first, but Tanya was late by 20 minutes. Fine. TODAY TOOK THE CAKE. Arrived at 9:35 a.m., another woman waiting at the door. Waiting, waiting, she was there before 9:30. Waiting, waiting, about to give up, Tanya drives up at 10:15. Walk in, a 3rd woman behind me. Then I realize she's gonna do a weave on the 1st woman. Her whole head. Gonna have to wait. 10:45. You all reading this know what it feels like sitting and waiting, watching a weave being done, part the hair, foil, color, wrap, next. Good thing the TV was on, and there was no talking, I'm sure this woman was just wanting it done. The 3rd woman says to Tanya "I'll come back about 12:30, okay?" Tanya asks her what she wanted done. A weave and something to her brows. Tanya tells her to come sit in one of her chairs. I thought, "this is not about to happen." The woman goes to sit, I get up and ask her "You're gonna take her next? " She says she's gonna put her color on real fast, I was like "I've been waiting for over an hour, she (1st woman) was here at 9:30 and I was here after her, and now I have to wait even longer?" She says " you're haircut will only take 20 minutes. " "Then I should be next! I've been waiting for a long time already!" Are you kidding ME?! The 3rd woman says she'll wait. I guess Tanya didn't expect that so she finishes up 1st woman, 10:55 a.m. by now. Starts cutting my hair, I'm too pissed to make small talk. I just hope she still does a good job. She does, but in record time. I'd already decided I'm going to find somewhere else. I pay, no tip, HELL NO, NO MONETARY TIP. My tip to her: If your business opens at 9:30 BE ON TIME or start making appointments. No $20.00 haircut is worth wasting your whole morning waiting on someone who doesn't value their own time by not being on time. Good luck to you all read more

I spontaneous wanted to get a haircut and saw all the positive reviews here so I wanted to check it out. I showed Tanya a picture and she immediately knew what to do. My hair is thick and long (it used to pass my breasts) and I wanted to get it to an A line shoulder length haircut. Tanya definitely took her time since my hair is very tough to handle. Although it took a while, it ended up looking fantastic. I'm so obsessed with my new short hair. I would definitely recommend coming here and getting your hair cut by her. The total ended up being $25, which I thought was reasonable due to the amount of time she spent on it. read more

Went there today, my mom and I got our haircut/trim by Tanya. She did a really good job. I love how she focuses and really makes sure she's cutting your hair correctly. She also made sure that the layers blended well. She was very sweet and patient. Listens not like other places I've been that pretty much "Quick-Chop" before you even tell them what style/cut you want. I've had the worst haircut experiences in town (Manteca). I usually go to my hairstylist in Stockton but I was so desperate for a haircut and that was the only time I actually had time. My mom and aunt cut their hair here and they both told me they like it, so I decided to just give it a try and usually I don't let anyone else cut my hair besides my hairstylist.
