I recently received a partial balayage. While the ends of my hair are not my main concern, the crown and nape were left uneven and poorly blended, including a noticeable patch in the middle/back that I couldn't see during my appointment. I went to a different salon hoping to try to get the tone I was hoping for, and after parting it, the stylist pointed out a large uneven spot (image included). I contacted the salon about this but have not received a response. I also reached out to the stylist, who offered a retone, but after consulting other stylists, I was advised that toner alone would not fix the uneven section especially the patch in the back. I do not feel comfortable returning, especially after leaving the salon with such a noticeable spot that I wasn't informed about. I have also contacted the salon manager and have yet to hear back. I've already paid another stylist to tone down part of the unevenness and will still need additional corrective work. Considering the extra time, cost, and effort required to fix the large patch in the back, I believe a refund or partial refund should have been offered and considered. This review is for my very first visit to the salon, specifically for a mail appointment with Christine. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. Strict safety regulations in place. Christine was ready for my appointment time, no waiting! Bonus points. The manicure was with dip powder. No gel polish here ladies... it's not healthy, so it's regular polish or dip powder. Lots of color options. Christine was warm, friendly and pleasantly talkative. She sure knows how to boost business too! (I purchased a massage gift certificate for my husband before leaving. ) The prices are a little high but you get really exceptional service. Christine did a fab man and the pedicure was luxurious. Be aware, during covid, bring your polish - no client sharing. The massage was long and I wasn't expecting it to include paraffin wax, another bonus! Overall, it was a great experience. I will be back when I have time for a nice long luxurious experience. Definitely not the place for a quick express mani-pedi, but the quality is outstanding. read more

Prior to going to her I've tried others and they just do not cut it. Lindsey is a perfectionist at her work. She will not be satisfied unless your nails and toes look perfect. Disappointed & irritated since I really wanted to like this place. Due to covid and the salons procedures I came in with my 2 daughters, discussed what we wanted and then I waited outside for them. My 2 girls came in for straight cuts and I was told the rates included a wash, cut and style however they both mysteriously just received a wash and cut. I'm not sure what happened to styling the girls hair since some random employee came out to collect payment. My youngest was looking forward to a style so that was disappointing to her. I however am irritated because the stylist that cut my youngest daughter's hair cut off way more than instructed. My daughter had 12 inches cut off! I know the amount because my girls said the ladies were talking about it. My oldest daughter was watching the stylist and saw her make the initial cut then trim a few extra inches so I can only assume she made a mistake and had to correct by cutting it shorter sadly I don't know what went wrong because she didn't come out when I picked the girls up. Both girls requested straight cuts not layers nothing crazy just straight cuts shouldn't be that difficult. My oldest daughter liked her stylist but knowing that a stylist here won't follow instructions or own a mistake I'm doubtful we'll be back. read more

A haircut, a hair color change or anything having to do with a new look requires TRUSTING that someone will do an amazing job and I trust MARIA with my hair and my look. I have to have a professional and healthy look for work at my Catholic parish and also for acting auditions in the bay area, Maria makes me look like a million bucks! I had virgin BROWN hair and Maria helped me get to a beautiful Hollywood blonde. After I realized the hair was way too much maintenance, she dyed it a beautiful chocolate brown. When I wanted to go darker, she cut it nicely and then brought me back to black. It has been a long road for my hair BUT it has been a pleasurable one with Maria caring for my hair along the way!
