My hair was down to my collar, and Sue took great care of me. She was professional, welcoming, and very accommodating. I walked out actually looking and feeling like a new man, which doesn't happen often these days. The entire staff was friendly and made the experience relaxed and comfortable. The shop itself has a strong sports theme, which I really enjoyed--especially since my favorite team, the Wolverines, were front and center. There are a couple of TVs in front of you while the barbers work, plus easygoing conversation that makes the time fly by. I've been to places that slap the word "barbershop" on the door and think posters and attitude make up for skill. DB's proves that a real barbershop is about knowing how to cut hair, keeping up with current styles, and treating customers right. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last.

Ever since, I've been chasing that same level of grooming glory--and Leah delivers every single time. Despite my inability to remember to book regular appointments (sorry, Leah!), she always welcomes me back with a smile and never fails to work her magic. When I was there, there was a guy with his dog; the dog sensed that I had dogs, and jumped in my lap.
