All The Right Moves Moved us late Nov 2013. Very short move - about 2 miles. Arrived when they said they were going to, and were ready to go to work, but had immediate problem with estimate of cost for the move. Initial estimate done on phone by Susan, co-owner and dispatcher for the business), but when Marty (co-owner and one of the movers - also Susan's husband) arrived, he eyeballed the place and did an immediate re-estimate before they started working, doubling the original estimate. Normally, every red light and alarm in my head would have gone off at that point, but truth is, we do have a lot of stuff for a 2-bedroom move, and we knew that going in, so we agreed to the new estimate. However, at end of the move, when the assistant mover came to me to collect final fee, it had far surpassed even Marty's revised estimate, and ended up being more than 3 times the initial estimate - this without any mention this was happening during move, which I was disappointed by. Important the reader doesn't misunderstand - not suggesting or insinuating anything shady; they were clear up-front of the hourly rate to be charged for total hours worked, regardless estimate of hours. I was just not ready to hear the final bill was over 3x more than the morning's estimate after the morning's estimate was 2x more than the original estimate. I think if either Marty or Susan had spoken to me during the move and mentioned they we were going over the morning's estimate of hours just so I realized it during the move, I would have felt a lot better about it at the end. That's all. At the end of move, Marty said amount of stuff we had more like 3-bedroom house than 2-bedroom apartment (not sure I agree with that, but he's the professional and should know), and why it took so long. I personally think reason it took so long because as organized as we thought we were for the move, not prepared for the where-does-it-go phase at the move-in end of the move, and tremendous amount of time spent with poor movers standing around while we decided where stuff should go. I seriously believe had we been better prepared, would have met estimate, saved several hundred dollars. Lesson learned to pass on? Consider estimates final only when done on-site, in writing. As for this mover, no problem them taking so much longer than estimated, because good, honest people. Understand we have moved several times, can tell good, honest ones from flat-out crooks, such as former King Movers (now calling itself Go King! Movers), who we had last time only several weeks before ATRM, and who by end of day were growing very tired and was beginning to show, but never complained, even when had to stand around and wait to be told where to put something, nor did they have anything bad to say. They were polite and cooperative. We had only few minor nicks on couple of things - not even worth mentioning to them. Most serious loss was a TV, but we resolved that. In conclusion, I recommend All The Right Moves, keeping in mind they are smaller moving company, so if have problem, may take a bit to get it resolved, but they will get it resolved, so be patient. Lot more than can say about lot of "big boy" movers. Believe that even being smaller, are set up to handle larger and longer moves, but do check with them. If indicate they are, I would not hesitate to use them. Operate at extremely attractive hourly rate, offer options we didn't use, so no comment on them. Marty and Susan are very nice people trying to operate an honest business at a fair price, and at the end of day, what more can you ask for? You will not regret using All The Right Moves. read more

We recently used All the Right Moves for our relocation and were extremely disappointed with the overall service. I would not recommend them to anyone. Despite reading positive reviews, our experience was marred by several issues that significantly impacted the efficiency and cost of the move adding stress to our move instead of alleviating it. The main issue we had was with their packing strategy or lack thereof. Though it seems obvious you would want furniture to be prioritized by movers over boxes the team left behind large furniture items causing an unnecessary second trip. Additionally, we were only informed after the truck was fully loaded that not all items could be transported. Further issues can be found below. All the issues listed below were communicated to the company. Time Management and Efficiency: Late Start: The moving team unnecessarily spent 20 minutes repositioning the van, causing a delay. Although 15 minutes were deducted from our bill, the move started at 10:00 AM instead of the scheduled 9:30 AM. Extended Loading and Unloading Time: Even though we prepped and wrapped 90% of our fragile items, the loading process took an excessive 3.5 hours. To save time and costs, we requested that all boxes be unloaded into the garage and helped move lighter items ourselves. Despite this, unloading still took 2 hours. Uneven Work Distribution: One team member was notably less active than the other, making one trip for every three his colleague made. This disparity extended the overall moving time. Communication and Coordination: Poor Coordination and Ignored Requests: The team did not communicate effectively, often asking us the same questions repeatedly. Despite our requests to prioritize large furniture items, they assured us everything would fit in one load. After loading the truck, they informed us a second trip was needed, leaving behind large pieces of furniture that we couldn't move ourselves. Summary: Our move took significantly longer and cost more than anticipated due to the team's inefficiency and poor communication. Better adherence to our requests and proper packing strategy could have avoided the second trip. The service provided added to the stress of moving rather than alleviating it. We communicated these concerns to the company, and while Marty acknowledged the feedback, the resolution process was highly disappointing. His insistence on a personal visit felt unnecessary and somewhat intimidating. We were only offered a partial refund for an hour, which did not even cover the second, unnecessary trip. Overall, this was one of our worst experiences sharing feedback with a company. Our detailed complaints were largely ignored, leaving us extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the response. I have used All the Right Moves 3x now and wouldn't trust anyone else with my furniture. Being in the property management industry 18 years I've seen my share of moves gone bad. This most recent move a couple days ago was looking a little bleak, as one of their movers decided to call in due to Colorado's Spring snowstorm. Needless to say I was a little panicked as I had no choice but to move out that day since my apartment was already rented. Marty called and said not to worry that he'd be out to do the move. I have mostly log furniture and a pretty "challenging" bed. To give you an idea it's like moving a forest! The fact that I was downsizing, losing square footage and a garage I was more than stressed already. I knew my stuff was probably not going to fit so I had to obtain an offsite storage unit that they gladly( in the white out blizzard conditions) transferred my belongings to without hesitation. They also provided me with multiple wardrobe boxes that made my closet seem much more manageable. Was able to pack it up as they worked on the rest of the items. Saved a ton of time.. and best of all a migraine! ") Their rates are beyond reasonable, professional, licensed, insured, so polite and truly care about YOU!!! You pay by the hour.. not by the pound!!! ( saved me a boatload I'm sure) If you're a repeat customer they'll even offer you a discount! Five Stars! I recently did a move with 'All The Right Moves' and would give a sixth star if it were available. I closed on my home at the end of the month (I understand this is the busiest time) and was incredibly delighted with the flexibility and service that was provided to me by Marty and Sue with my scheduling (as I had to move my date once due to the title co.). I was very impressed to meet Marty (the owner) for my move, he was punctual, professional and clearly knew how to move a home. I am very picky about my personal belongings and the care they deserve when handling them, the movers handled them as if they were their own. The truck was very clean, dry and I liked that there were several moving blankets available and used to protect all my furniture, glass, artwork, etc. While I felt I was well prepared (majority of stuff boxed), there were a few items that required the touch of a professional. Marty figured a way to remove my very bulky armoire through the 2nd floor overlook without a scratch! I don't remember how I got it there in the first place, but probably would have left it if it weren't for him. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better experience. My items were handled with care, the truck was packed very methodical and tight, and the full loading and unloading was complete well ahead of my expectation - we beat the snow! From the very first phone call to get a quote ATRM made this process easy ! Marty was helpful and straightforward and the prices were VERY fair compared to some places I had called ! My mind was put at ease the day before my move when Marty called to confirm our time and schedule for the day! Eric and Art Showed up a little bit late (they did call ahead to let me know which I appreciate) but they got to work fast ! I had more stuff to move than I had originally planned and as a former mover I was grateful for the way they took their time with my delicate items and packed the truck properly to use space properly and padded everything to make sure it was secure! Eric and Art we're extremely polite (yes ma'am and sir the entire time) and asked questions along the way without just doing what they wanted! My load and unload both went well and I was quite happy with the help since moving is stressful and tiring ! PS A helpful hint to people hiring movers ... A few Gatorade's some chips an a nice tip goes a long way for people that are doing a job that you would rather not do yourself! I cannot recommend All the Right Moves highly enough. Marty, his son Matthew, and their team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My move ended up being more complicated than originally planned, and they were incredibly flexible, patient, and accommodating through the whole process. They showed up ready to work, handled everything carefully, and got the job done extremely well. Not a single thing was broken or damaged, and I felt like my belongings were genuinely being taken care of rather than just rushed onto and off of a truck. What impressed me most, though, was how kind and easygoing everyone was. I've used All the Right Moves several times, and the quality of the service has degraded each time. The first time, Marty (owner) was the lead mover, and it was fantastic. Since then, others have been there and Marty's not been around, and the service is notably less. The most recent move hit the bottom: * We had one mover reeking of smoke and seemingly unable to determine that if one chair went to the dining room, the matching chairs should also do so. * The movers had to be asked not to bang furniture against the walls. * Nothing was done to protect floors on a snowy/rainy day. * The three movers had a lot of "conversations" to have in the moving van while on (my) clock. * I got the joy of watching them breaking furniture through simply being careless. To his credit, after I called Marty to complain, he showed up with someone else to help finish the job. That said, this move took 30% longer with the same furniture and ~30-50 fewer boxes than the last one. If I were to use them again, it'd only be with a clear understanding that Marty himself is running the show. Otherwise, I'm about as likely to take my chances elsewhere. read more

Moving can be stressful- and up until the morning of our move IT WAS! However, when Nick, Travis and MJ arrived the day became progressively better and easier. They took the stress off our shoulders and placed it on their own- literally. They were quick to start moving- never taking too long to do anything other than their jobs. They were personable, polite, funny and wholeheartedly kind. They took their time to ensure all of our items (which was two truck loads!) were each treated with the same respect and care- we the owners would have given them- if not more! The lamps I had in the garage weren't yet wrapped, and they took their time to carefully wrap each one before finding a safe place for it in the truck. The three of them worked together effortlessly- each one knew exactly what to do and when- making the whole experience seamless and efficient. I sat down at the end of the day and felt a huge sense of relief and gratitude. Thank you Nick, Travis and MJ for your professionalism, collaboration and expertise!! We recently had to move out of our apartment into another and back, so it could be remodeled. We used All the Right Moves both times. The first move was really an awful mess, as we had lived there for fourteen years, and have too much stuff. The crew was remarkably tolerant of the clutter, and did an excellent job of extracting our furniture from it. The second move was quite a bit easier, kind of like packing in the hotel as compared to packing for the trip. I was really surprised at haw much the crew was able to help us with all the little loose personal items, having anticipated doing all that ourselves after their having moved the big pieces. Both crews were prompt, polite, precise, and careful with our belongings and the apartment. They really kept moving, didn't stand around, and the move proceeded at a rapid pace. I am somewhat mystified by the number of negative reviews they have received on Yelp. Those reviews are completely inconsistent with our experience, based upon which I would recommend All the Right Moves unreservedly. read more

I've gone with All the Right Moves for 3 moves since I've been in Colorado. Without question, they are the best. All the Right Moves is the most professional and experienced moving company I've ever worked with. If you don't believe me, they have the service medals and awards to back it up. They're great with kids and my mean little dog even liked Marty and Thomas, and she doesn't like anyone. More importantly, they completed 2 moves for me within 2 days. Had I'd known they'd be so fast, I wouldn't have taken a full day off. That's how awesome his crew is! Moving can be a huge pain in the butt, but hiring a fast, efficient and hard working crew can make life a lot easier. They are competitively priced, but their work speaks for itself. Marty and his crew with All The Right Moves are the best movers in Denver! He saved my husband and I from what could have been a disaster move! He showed up at our place in Colorado Springs right at 10am, when he said he would, and they got going immediately! I have never seen 3 guys work so hard, non-stop for over 4 hours, carefully packing and moving my belongings! They took all of our items and moved them into a storage unit in Denver, because the tenants who were supposed to be out of the home we were moving to were not. After all of that - they came back to the storage unit 5 days later and moved us into our house. They are friendly, kind and very professional. I had never used professional movers before this move so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We were impressed! Our movers showed up on time and were very professional. They took time to evaluate the move as a whole, then they just got to work. They didn't stop moving and clearly had a routine. They were accommodating and asked questions about our preferences. Both gentlemen were extremely efficient and kind. When Marty heard I had trouble with my other deliveries coming - they offered without hesitation to finish the job the other company didn't - without worry or question. I contracted with All the Right Moves to pack and move my household to a new location here in Denver. Susanna's team showed up within half an hour of the scheduled start time, but called ahead to advise me of the delay. The two man team was capable and efficient. They carefully packed items as directed, and worked consistently throughout the day. When the truck was loaded, they even made a requested detour to the local Goodwill, and off-loaded unwanted items en route! They provided exemplary service at a fair hourly rate. My husband and I recently moved to the Denver area last Dec. We were literally 1 hour from our new apartment when I called All The Right Moves and asked for help unloading our U-Haul. Oh, and it was about 4:30pm. My husband just had back surgery and I couldn't move it all myself. They squeezed us into there tight schedule and had two movers come help us around 6:30pm. These guys were amazing. They unloaded our trailer in about 1 hour (and we had some really heavy stuff). The price was very reasonable and the customer service was great. Took my chances with this company after doing a google search. Completely lucked out! I found their prices to be competitive and Susan, the office manager, to be very helpful and cheerful. They moved us from an apartment into our new home. The owner, Marty was very pleasant and professional, as well as his staff. They charge by the hour but never slowed down throughout the entire move. Our schedule even changed at the last minute and they were able to work with us to reschedule. Can't say enough about this company!
